Our water heater stopped working last night so I called this morning to get it serviced. As it turns out, our heater was almost 10 years old, so we decided to replace it completely. Wade came out within 2 hours, and now we have hot water running again! He texted me before he headed out to give me ETA. He was on time, reliable, and provided excellent service. We upgraded to a tankless heater, and it looks absolutely beautiful. Don't hesitate to call him for immediate service. Highly recommended!

Wade was connected to me through fidelity national home warranty. He came the 2nd day I submitted the claim to fidelity. Immediately he lighted up the pilot that folks (a professional plumber, home depot water heater guy, a handyman) could not light up. I was told by earlier folks that my 10 years old water heater died and I have to spend $2k plus for a brand new water heater. Wade replaced the water heater thermal panel And boom, the old wayer heater is working fine. The deductible is only $75. You can imagine how happy I am. Wade even helped me with a heavy laundry room door installed temporarily. He is knowledgeable, efficient, fair, hard working, tidy and smart! Will recommend him to all friends!

When a water heater goes out, it always seems to happen over the weekend. I called on a Saturday, and Wade picked up the phone. By Monday morning, his technician started at 8:30 AM. I've always entertained the idea of switching to a tankless water heating system. I am so glad we did. Before the end of the day, Amando was finished, everything was back to normal. No mess, No fuss. The price was exactly what Wade quoted me over the weekend. I had a couple of additional follow-up questions regarding the functionality of the tankless system, and wade always responds promptly. Have a home warranty that is pretty tough to deal with. Wade a Golden State helped a lot. He did everything in his power to make the experience run smoothly and as quickly as he could. The problems and delay were all home warranty. This company had everything that they needed to do the job on their truck. What wasn't covered by warranty they charged a fair and reasonable rate. Highly recommended. Even when insurance slowed things down, they dispatched the tech to come back at 3 to finish it.

Our 12+ year old water heater was leaking gas. We tried fixing the problem with another company, who in fact made the leak worse. Wade was dispatched to our house and after a quick inspection noted the water heater was beyond repair. He recommended replacing it and offered up options. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I've never dealt with a water heater company aside from this one, but I feel Golden State Water Heaters should be the industry standard.

While out in California visiting my dad the showers were all of a sudden freezing! No hot water left. My vacation was ruined! I searched Yelp for ""best water heater repair near me"" and after scrolling for a few and doing my due diligence I decided to call Golden State Water Heaters, I mean they have what I was searching for in their name; water heaters!

I spoke with Wade over the phone and he was very polite and helpful and seemed to know very well what he was talking about. He told me he could come as soon as possible to check out the problem and that was that.

A couple hours later Wade arrived and checked out the water heater. He was very polite and professional and to the point. He explained in detail on how the water heater functions and what caused it to stop, and also exactly what he has to do in order to restore out hot water; which in this case was installing a new water heater. After diagnosing the problem, Wade left to retrieve parts and was back to give us hot water.

Water heater was now installed and Wade took the old one away with him to dispose, very helpful! On top of replacing our water heater, Wade also assured everything he did was up to code. But the thing that stood out most to me was Wade left the water heater site looking better than it was before he started working. He cleaned up the site phenomenally and changed the duct work giving our corner a nicer, cleaner appearance.
