OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I've never dealt with a water heater company aside from this one, but I feel Golden State Water Heaters should be the industry standard.

While out in California visiting my dad the showers were all of a sudden freezing! No hot water left. My vacation was ruined! I searched Yelp for ""best water heater repair near me"" and after scrolling for a few and doing my due diligence I decided to call Golden State Water Heaters, I mean they have what I was searching for in their name; water heaters!

I spoke with Wade over the phone and he was very polite and helpful and seemed to know very well what he was talking about. He told me he could come as soon as possible to check out the problem and that was that.

A couple hours later Wade arrived and checked out the water heater. He was very polite and professional and to the point. He explained in detail on how the water heater functions and what caused it to stop, and also exactly what he has to do in order to restore out hot water; which in this case was installing a new water heater. After diagnosing the problem, Wade left to retrieve parts and was back to give us hot water.

Water heater was now installed and Wade took the old one away with him to dispose, very helpful! On top of replacing our water heater, Wade also assured everything he did was up to code. But the thing that stood out most to me was Wade left the water heater site looking better than it was before he started working. He cleaned up the site phenomenally and changed the duct work giving our corner a nicer, cleaner appearance.

Thanks, Wade, for saving my vacation and bringing back the hot water!

I was very happy with the installation of my new water heater. The owner, (Wade) responded promptly to my inquiry and gave me a very competitive price on a top of the line water heater. His price included all the parts required to install the water heater and bring it up to code. He also offered me a discount if I paid cash but did accept credit cards and checks too. The technician, (Armando) did a nice job installing the water heater and it only took about 2 hours. He was very thorough and explained the operation and features of my new water heater to me after he finished installing it. I definitely would recommend this company if anyone is looking for water heater installation and/or service.

Excellent work & fast service.
It's never a pleasure when the water heater goes but it was old and fortunately the home warranty of our new home took care of it. Golden State Water Heaters came to the rescue right after we called the home warranty company and he had it all replaced in no time. They turned an unpleasant situation in a very pleasant experience. They explained us everything about the new water heater and we are so happy that everything was fixed so quickly.

Very customer focused!!! Highly recommend. My water heater broke down. Wade from the Golden State Water Heater contacted me after I reported this to our warranty company. And not only he came the next day morning after I reported the issue, after knowing ordering a part could take a week to fix this very old water heater, he convinced the warranty company to get me a new one!! He came and replace it the next day!! Throughout the process, he kept me in loop with all the updates and showed great professionalism and flexibility! It's the warmest thing happened in this pandemic winter!!

Our 20+ year old water heater started to leak and was ready to be replaced. We decided to go the tankless natural gas route with Golden State Water Heaters. Wade was very professional and trustworthy. He came on time and finished the job in the time specified. Everything turned out great. Wade even did a follow up to make sure it was working properly. He really cares about his work and reputation and is definitely a craftsmen in his field. Definitely will use him again when our second water heater needs to be replaced.

Clanking no more !

I contacted Wade yesterday for a quote to replace our very old water heater, he came out to take a look today and in a few minutes we had a brand new water heater. We couldn't be more happy with his work.
Golden State Water Heaters offered us competitive pricing and Wade took excellent COVID precautions and was very respectful of our home leaving the area clean after his work was done.
We had some questions regarding tank vs tankless water heaters and Wade was thorough in explaining each option.

we smelled gas in our garage and when the gas company guy came out he found a leak in our water heater. this was, of course, a saturday night, hours before we were leaving town for a week. i left messages with a number of local companies, and wade at golden state water heaters responded within an hour. we set up an appointment for sunday morning, with a 10 to 12 o'clock window. wade arrived at 10:10! that was great, because we had a long drive ahead of us and i wanted to get on the road. he checked out the water heater but could not find a gas leak; however, there were indeed other problems with our 13 year old water heater. he said he could replace it that day with a medium quality heater he could pick up at home depot, or we could wait until tuesday when he would replace it with a high quality heater from another source. we opted for the tuesday appointment. he arrived just after 8 am and did a really impressive install. the water heater cabinet is immaculate, and all debris, including the old heater, was removed. we are thoroughly satisfied with wade's professionalism, interaction, and workmanship. plus, he was very conscientious about proper covid protocols. i highly recommend golden state water heaters! it's a job that should have to be done only every ten years or so, so get it right the first time!
