Golden Rule has been dedicated to homeowners for more than 25 years. We are more than just a business; we are a family. Family values have been central to our mission.

Mark and Miranda Paup embarked on this journey in 1999; the company was first called City Rule before rebranding to Golden Rule in 2007. We chose the name Golden Rule to reflect our core belief: treating others as we wish to be treated. City Rule started with just four service trucks. Heating and cooling were incorporated into our services in 2005, and transitioned to primarily offering these services in 2008. We have grown considerably over the years, with an increase in employees, trucks, and customers. Golden Rule plans to expand into the Salt Lake Valley in the summer of 2024, and we aim to explore additional locations in the coming years.
