Homeowners have relied on Golden Rule for over 25 years. As a family-oriented business, we prioritize family values. Our commitment to family shapes everything we do.

Mark and Miranda Paup embarked on this journey in 1999; the company was first called City Rule before rebranding to Golden Rule in 2007. We chose the name Golden Rule to reflect our core belief: treating others as we wish to be treated. In the beginning, City Rule had a fleet of four service trucks. Heating and cooling were incorporated into our services in 2005, and transitioned to primarily offering these services in 2008. The company has seen substantial growth over the years, expanding our team, fleet, and customer base. Golden Rule plans to expand into the Salt Lake Valley in the summer of 2024, and we aim to explore additional locations in the coming years.
