Homeowners have relied on Golden Rule for over 25 years. As a family-oriented business, we prioritize family values. Family values have been central to our mission.

The journey started in 1999 with Mark and Miranda Paup at the helm; the company was first called City Rule before rebranding to Golden Rule in 2007. We chose the name Golden Rule to reflect our core belief: treating others as we wish to be treated. City Rule started with just four service trucks. In 2005, we expanded our offerings to include heating and cooling services, and transitioned to primarily offering these services in 2008. Over the years, the company has experienced significant growth, with an increase in employees, trucks, and customers. Golden Rule plans to expand into the Salt Lake Valley in the summer of 2024, and we will keep looking for more opportunities in the years ahead.
