The original time that my tech was supposed to show up was between 8-11. At 10:45, after not hearing anything, I called to see if someone was coming. They informed me that they had switched the time to 10-1. It would have been nice if someone had called and let me know that the change had been made especially since I have to sit at home and wait for the tech to get here and I have other errands I need to take care of. So the tech showed up at about 1:30 and hour and 4 minutes after they called and said he would be there in 15-25 minutes. I get that things happen and some jobs take longer than others but it would be nice if they would let me know. I wasn't too happy when the tech said I needed to replace capacitor and when i asked how much it would be he told me $333. A simple google search showed that I can buy that part anywhere for a max of $30. That price gouge is absolutely ridiculous. Needless to say I will never be using this company again.

Very disappointed with service! Recently bought home, previous owner had Goettl install system 9 yrs old. Came home from work Saturday and ac blowing warm air. Thermostat reads 91*. Call Goettl and earliest they could get someone would be Monday. Sunday evening I receive a call to confirm my appointment tech would arrive between 12-3. Monday Tech calls about 2:00 to inform they were running behind and would be here by 4:00. By the time tech arrives at 5:30, we are without power due to storm so tech could do nothing but say someone will be out the next morning. Tuesday I get a call 7:30 am to confirm appointment between 9:00 am - noon. Tech arrives around 3:00 says system has a leak, if we want him to check system pay $382. To fix will cost additional. Do nothing, $79. We pay $79. Tech leaves. We still have no ac. Ac still under Goettl warranty till 2019. But they do nothing, but take my service fee of $79. I call az's Best Heating and Cooling. Jason checks ac. Says leak in system. Due to small hole in coil made by screw panel that rubbed on coil. A screw that Goettl installed since they were the last ones to touch the ac unit last summer when previous owner says Goettl replaced a fan on unit. My frustration is with Goettl tech not checking where leak was coming from , and Goettl not taking responsibility for cause of leak. This all should have been covered under Goettl warranty. NEVER recommending this Company, EVER!!!!!!!

We had Goethe install two ac units and handlers 10 years ago. One air handler started to leak so we called for a repair at 10:30 am. The person who answered the call said that a technician will call. We didn't hear anything until the following morning around 9 am and then the person said something weird. ""It's probably condensation, call us back if you want us to come out "".
We called another repair company at 8 am and set up a repair.
I am very sad and disappointed by their service. I gave two star because they did call back.

Terrible communication on service time. Ended up being 40min late from what I was told. Terrible customer service when trying to get updated info. Spoke with a man named Corbin. Very rude and condescending. The commercials talk about best pros in the business with new trucks. My poor tech drove a broke down old van with two hubcaps and filthy. After service I got a call to confirm my appt for tomorrow. The commercials sound great but reality is very different.

yea . tech patrick was great great great. super polite .. even introduced himself to some of the dogs. patrick patiently answered all my questions (even repeated for the couple i just was not fully understanding initially). he laid out options for next steps then allowed me all the time i wanted to make a decision.

We called Goettl to check our unit as the temp in our home was only getting higher. The technician came and was there for less than 30 minutes. He told us that our unit needed to be replaced. He also mentioned that he could ""temporarily"" fix it but that was going to cost us between $500-$700. We asked for a quote because we figured if we were going to spend that much we might as well apply it to a new unit. Our jaws dropped when he said a new install was going to be $11,000! Yes, $11,000. He did say that it would be installed the very next day as if that was going to ease the pain of spending $11,000. Immediately we said no thank you and we would be shopping around. Especially, since my sister recently had a unit installed in her home for $5,000.

I'm glad we did, we had another technician from a different company come out and they were confused as to why we needed a new unit or why they would charge that much to add freon. Do not use this company, save yourself the time and most importantly save yourself the money. I wish there was more I could do than write a bad review on yelp, it's a shame when a company is okay with taking your money like that. I wish Yelp gave you a zero star option.

100% satisfaction? Try 0%. I always thought Goettl was a solid brand and company. I bought my first AC unit in AZ from them 18 years ago. Apparently a lot has changed since then. My recent experience has been horrible. I called and scheduled our annual checkup. There was an error message coming up on our thermostat that wasnt causing a lot of problems at the time but I asked the technician what might be causing it. He said it was the capacitor and I paid to have it replaced. Well, three days later and my AC was not working at all with that same error coming up. A second technician came out and fixed the issue temporarily but did not address the root cause. Also I had to beg to get them to send someone out in a reasonable time considering the AC was not working and it is over 100 outside. Since then we have been limping along trying what that 2nd person showed us to keep it running. Well, tonight it stopped working all together. I sat on the phone for 60 minutes listening to hold music while someone could get to my call. No one ever picked up and it disconnected at 60 minutes! What great service. It is over 100 degrees and they cant even answer the phone for people with no AC. I have spent the night researching the issue amd found the fix to be very simple. Something the most rookie technician should have spotted without charging me for the wrong part or requiring three trips to fix. This is a horribly run company!

Patrick, our technician, was fabulous. He didn't waste our time or try to sell us on something we didn't need. He explained what he found in clear terms (no industry mumbo jumbo) and helped us understand the steps that needed to be taken if we chose to go forward. Luckily, nothing was drastically wrong so it didn't cost us a fortune. The part he recommended be changed was changed with very little fuss and every reassurance was given that if something else should happen he would come back to fix it. A very positive experience that encourages me to recommend Goettl to my friends and family.

Kurt conducted my semi-annual maintenance service. Was right on time, very professional, needed to replace a part and did a great job with the reason/explanation to someone who has NO clue!! Have been with Goettl for 9 years. Great company and service.
