So on 5/13/2021 I had my full ""rejuvenation"" including opting for the Sadie guard dog annual package completed on my 8 year old AC unit. I was told that the AC was in good shape for it's age. I was also told it didn't have some of the needed items in ensure it would last years longer. So I said goodbye to $1,100.00 bucks and prepped for a cool summer.

So fast forward to today 5-29-2021 and the old ac isn't working AT ALL. So I called Goettl expecting and apology and a service tech shortly. What I got was who are you? It's like it's only been 2 weeks can we skip the name address phone number game.

What I got was so sorry no technician for you today. How about tomorrow between 12-3? Are you kidding me it's 100 degrees and it's a holiday weekend, I had other plans than sitting and sweating my butt off waiting around for you all.

So I'm off to a hotel for the night (BTW, hotels are hard to find and expensive on a holiday weekend.)

I put the call in a hour or so ago, waiting for a manager to call me, he most be one busy guy, cuz I haven't heard from him.

So GOETTL, if you are listening, you should always have techs available to service something you very well may have screwed up. I'm not sure it was you, but I'd bet it was, it had been running solid for the last 5 years, within to weeks of you all tuning it up it quits, my money is on you all missed something or left something unfinished.

We had both of our a/c units rejuuuuvenated yesterday. The tech that came out, Ramiro, was friendly and knowledgeable. He went over our units thoroughly and took pics through each step of the inspection. Our units are 5 years old. Ramiro said they were in excellent condition and he didn't try to up-sell us on anything. We will definitely use Goettl again for our annual a/c checkups!

We enjoyed the installation and the quality of the hot water heater, although we noticed following that there was a dramatic markup.

However, the matter of the monthly plan and the cleaning of A/C and services are something I did not appreciate. We were told the coils would be cleaned and included in the service because we had the monthly plan. Then there was a $200.00 fee. We attempted to gain clarification and felt they talked around out question.

Furthermore, they state there is carbon dioxide leak. We need to replace the unit for 12k to 15k. Pushed for us to do it right now. Even scaring me into a monthly contract. We had just done other work on the home so it was not an option.

Now I have cash and Goettle apparently is the highest around when you pay cash and do not finance. So we will be getting it done by another company.

I have told the husband to cancel the plan and will not be using it. It was a waste of 6 months of payments for nothing.

Please be aware that there are hidden fees and a cash wholesale price may be cheaper when you do a google search and call the wholesale companies. They will even have a vendor install it for a fee. No hidden fees.

Incidentially, the CO2 is not leaking. After I has so much anxiety over this....it is really baiting and switching a customer. BTW, this is going to be reported to consumer affairs for Arizona.

This company is a joke; very disappointing. I spent over $30k ?I know my stupidity) and had them install two new AC units (with furnaces). Was told at the time that I would have priority as it relates to ongoing service and time up calls as needed. I tired to schedule my annual summer tuneup first part of May and was told they are just so busy that they can get to it until mid July (over a month and a half later, best case). It is bad enough that I spent over $30k, but when they can't even service their existing clients in a timely manner, maybe they should spend less time on ads and hire more employees / technicians so they can actually follow through in what they falsely promise.

Sticker shock for sure. I could and should have performed the work myself. They charged 300+ bucks to take hair and gunk out of my drain but tried to sell me the Sadie package for 199.00. I thought I was getting the 80 deal. Nope! I felt I do not want them in my home again and got socked for the full price. Shop around people and watch for surprise prices from Goettl.

If it were possible to give no stars, I would. If you need HVAC or plumbing services, keep looking. Do not use Goettl. I previously posted about my EXPENSIVE HVAC experience. I choose a 12-month same as cash option to pay for the new unit. I expressly asked Mike Lane, my technician, Austin, the Goettl finance guy, and the person from the finance company ""if I pay it off in one lump sum before the 12 month mark do I have zero interest? Can I pay it off in one lump sum close to the 12 month due date?"" The answer to both of these questions was ""yes"". Tonight I got a call from the finance company asking for my monthly payment. WTH?! I explained what I understood about the financing and was told I was all wrong. I'll pay the amount I owe but I will NEVER recommend Goettl to anyone and will tell everyone or anyone that asks to run, not walk away from Goettl and get another service company.

Total waste of time. We called to schedule a rejuvenation in March. On the appointment date of April 22 which is a month later, no one showed. I called them only to be told that they are too busy and my next available appointment would be May 28. There was no communication as to the no show. There is no apologies and no customer service. We had wanted to try this company but they have proved that they do not value their customers especially a new customer. This has been a total waste of time and energy.
Definitely will not recommend this company.

I had a slow drain in a bath tub on the ground level. Their tech Showed up had me run water in the tub and he noted that it was slow. I showed him the clean out in the yard. Without physically inspecting anything other than looking at the building he said that he could not clear the line from the clean out and said it would run about $700 to snake the tub and then suggested re plumbing the building for $12,000.00. I politely said that I would think about it then he charged me $80.00 and left. I run a service business myself and would never charge anyone after I told them I couldn't fix it. I have had a different plumber come out for the same problem and they never let me down. I am going back to them.

Shady, pushy sales tactics and the dude they sent out was abrasive and constantly talked over me; not a good tactic when someone is looking to make a $20,000+ purchase. I will personally never call Goettl for anything again.

Long story short, goettl said in order to fix a plumbing backup at my house they would need to dig down and cut out a section of my pipe and replace it which would cost $5,000. I said I wanted a second opinion and brought a company called Classic Guys Plumbing out and they cleared it in 10 minutes and charged $175...I highly recommend them. Goettl are scam artists and are out to take advantage of folks. I never got any flashlights either in 4 visits
