They were the first to text me, as soon as I made the request. Once I gave the information, nothing.

I called them the next day. But their response was ""oh did you still need help?""

I came home after being away for a month and went to reset the schedule on my two manual thermostats, since my wifi thermostat had been adjusted by me prior to my arrival. The problem was neither manual thermostat would start cooling. I called to ask whether I should program as A/C or HP and was told I would have to have a tech come out. Then I had to spend a few minutes telling them who I was and my system, which seems a waste of time since I'm on a service package and charged monthly. The tech was supposed to arrive between 5-7 in the evening, but never showed nor was there any contact by Goettl saying he wasn't coming. I finally programed the system and hit upon the correct configuration.
I'm debating dropping the service contract, they are supposed to come in October for system check for heating during the winter, but they cancelled the spring checkup for A/C and never rescheduled.

UPDATE: I provided our phone number after Goettl responded. They called a few days later. We called back, waited on hold for 10 minutes, and were told they'd call us back. This was on Wednesday. Today is Friday. No call. The AC broke *again* this morning.

Unethical. They quoted me one highly inflated price and then offered to do the work for less outside of the company by paying the technician directly. When I declined, they still demanded I pay the $85 trip charge. Afterwards, I contacted a competitor (a much smaller company) and they did the same work for 1/2 of their price. I would never trust these guys.

They replaced our HVAC unit in 2021 and the turn around from nbc AC to the new unit was very fast. They have been prompt, friendly, and thorough. They worked with us to find solutions for our AC issues. They were very fast responding too our concerns. I don't know the names of everyone that has helped us, but recently Matt, Eric and Dusty were all great. It's easy to book appointments with them, even in the middle of the summer in Phoenix, dispatch communicated with us when there were delays, nothing but praise for them.

I just had a very positive experience with Goettl, Air Conditioning and Plumbing through their plumber Steven. I noticed the temperature change in my hot water heater on a home I recently purchased and Goettl came out the very next day to fix it. It turned out that the entire water heater. There were leaks that had calcified and connection lines that had to be updated to make them in code with the standards of today's installation. Steven fixed the entire hot water heater explaining to me exactly what he was changing and why things needed to be changed throughout the whole process. He was very easy to communicate with and also showed a really good sense of humor. I will continue to use Goettl as I have had two positive experiences with them.

We've been customers of goettl since we bought our home in 2020 and have spent 30k+ with them. We were monthly members too. Unfortunately every time their people come out, we were quoted a minimum of 1k in repairs. This past time, we had someone come check a leak under the sink. They quoted me $1500 to replace the garbage disposal. (They are about $120 at home depot). Well I got under there myself and found out it was the hose sprayer causing the leak. Ordered a $10 sprayer on Amazon and the job is done. What was $1500??? Then same day we had them come out for the AC rejuvenation. Again, quoted almost $2k in repairs. I decided to get a second opinion from another ac company. We only needed $400 in repairs (ac coils, which goettl didn't even mention needed repair).
I expressed my concerns when I called the next day and was promised a call back from management which never happened.
Not to mention they no showed for one maintenance appt and then tried to reschedule the next for 3 months out! Just terrible customer service. Feels like they're trying to get every penny out of you they can. Now I question if we really needed the 25k in plumbing work we had done back in 2021.

I am traditionally fairly understanding and patient, but definitely frustrated with Goettl. Three years ago we had two new AC units installed with extended warranted and a Sadie Membership (for priority service and some discounts). We received less expensive quotes, but thought Goettl was potentially a better company. There was drywall damage and tile damage during install, which they came back and fixed. Grout repair has never been the same. At about one year we had leaking, and parts needed to be replaced which they did. After two years I cancelled our Sadie membership since I didn't see the value. I used it for a plumbing call. Tech came out, and was unable to fix either plumbing issue, but did point out several other areas that ""needed"" plumbing maintenance for additional fees.

Year three, I have been trying to get a regular maintenance A/C check. Call in April, and got an appt for July. I get it that the summer had been bad and can wait the 3 months. Today was my appointment. I waited around for 5 hours, no tech, no call, nothing. Just called and was told my appt was put on hold due to Tech availability. Wouldn't they have known that at least this morning? I now been rescheduled for September. I am questioning my decision of going with this company.

My husband and I are both elderly and handicapped individuals. 3 months ago i spoke with Goettl customer service, after spending $20,000 for a new ac system. We both realized it was very difficult for us to change our air filter. I was told from the customer service rep that enrolling for the $19.99 a month saddle service could help us out. We signed up for the service in may of this year. THEY scheduled an appointment to come out July 24th. In June I called to see if they could come out sooner to assist in changing out the filter and checking our unit. I was told it would be ok to wait until the 24th to change filter would be ok. Today I was told that they will not come out to change our filter and check our unit until September. So I paid 3 months for a service that that they never planned on servicing us for. WHY WERE WE TOLD PAYING $60 (19 a month) for something they never intended to give us as customers!! I was also they would never schedule to come out with the intention of replacing our filter.

I have been a long time customer (8-9 years) of Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing. I was scheduled for preventative maintenance on March 29, 2024 between 0800-1200 hours. Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing confirmed the appointment on March 28, 2024 at 0903 hours. I called them at the end of my service window appointment time at 1200 hours to inform them that no one had shown for my appointment. When I called Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing and informed them that no one had shown or called I was informed my job was put on hold. Office personnel did not care a single bit about a technician not showing up for my scheduled appointment. Personnel did nothing - took no action.
On April 5, 2024, I sent Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing an email about my missed appointment on March 29, 2024 and NEVER received a single response.
On April 29, 2024, I received a telephone call from Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing asking me why I missed my appointment on March 29, 2024. I was told the computer did not list a reason. I explained the situation to the caller and forwarded the email to him from April 5, 2024. I was offered a complimentary service plan for the air conditioning unit and plumbing. I accepted the offer for the air conditioning. The person said the first available appointment was on July 12, 2024 between 1300-1700 hours. I asked the Goettl employee if he felt it was right for me to wait an additional 74 days for my appointment. I explained to him it had already been 31 days since my original appointment on March 29, 2024 and no one from Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing has attempted to reach out to me. I was told nothing else could be done for me and accepted the July 12, 2024 appointment.
On July 12, 2024, at 0707 hours I received a telephone call from Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing informing me my appointment was being canceled due to too many repair jobs. My preventative maintenance service appointment could not be completed. I explained to the employee about Geottl Air Conditioning & Plumbing failure to show up on March 29, 2024, my telephone call from April 29, 2024 scheduling me for the July 12, 2024 appointment. Again, the Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing employee did not care.
