Very upset with the service, or lack thereof. My husband made an appt a month ago, they were supposed to be here today between 1-5 pm to take a look at our ac that has a grotesque odor, which is why we can't hardly run it. Apparently they tried calling at 2 pm today- yes an hour after their appt (from a restricted number, no vm) to let us know they weren't coming. My husband called back at 4:45 after no one has showed and turns out, apparently our service wasn't as important as others who ""really needed"" their ac fixed. WTH?! But hey, they said they'd give us a $30 credit for the inconvenience and could put us down for a new appt in 2 more weeks. What a joke. No thank you!

I was expecting to have my air conditioner serviced today between 1:00pm & 5:00 pm. First thing this morning before 9 I received a call they would have to cancel. No reason given. I find this very unprofessional and a lack of caring for a customer who rearranged my who day for this service call.

I was ready to leave Goettl and post a negative review. They put me off when my service was due. I guess I was at the bottom of their list of important customers. This was after I had purchased a UV light scrubber for my zoned AC unit for $2,500 from them the last time they were here. After I insisted that I needed service today as they had scheduled, they accommodated me and sent out Dave, nickname Shrek. What a fabulous guy and service technician. He explained everything thoroughly that was going on with my AC unit. He showed me what I could do in between service appointments to keep my AC running smoothly and what part of my AC would most likely wear out and need replacement in the future. I've never had a nicer tech or more thorough job from any service man anywhere at any time. My opinion of Goettl has gone up so high. What an outstanding business Goettl is, namely they because they have such a competent service tech working for them.

I tried to schedule 2 ac rejuvenation appointments on their website this week and both times I received a call on the morning of the appointment saying that they needed to reschedule. Both times they stated that their next available appointment was 3weeks away. Very dishonest company that deceives customers on appointment availability. I took off from work to be home for their service. I wish there was an option of giving zero stars!

From beginning to end, it was a unique experience. James was willing to help by answering a multitude of questions and thoroughly checking my mom's Air conditioning needs. He clearly addressed what the charges were and gave us ample time to discuss this estimate and decide whether to go with Goettl
or our first estimate given to us by our home warranty company. I think you know who won! Not only was that an awesome experience but it continued with the two service technicians that came to install the needed appliance. These two gentlemen went above and beyond. The fact they spoke Spanish was an added plus that my mother appreciated. Did you have that planned?! You are very good at what you do, James! Again, we are very pleased Goettl customers!!

My experience with Goettl was so unpleasant that every time I hear their commercials I think of how misleading they are. I know the old saying ""there is a sucker born every minute"" that is what Goettl Air Conditioning depends on.
Again I repeat when the technician came to my home for a so called ''rejuvenation'' he did nothing for almost an hour except try to sell me a new unit because mine was more than ten years old (actually installed in 2007 and still works well). He did NOT replace filter, He did NOT clean condenser coils as advertised he would do. All he did was take the cover apart take photos and look at furnace then check temperature of cold air all the while trying to sell me a new system or maintenance plan. Also showed me a part in the unit that he said was inferior and would not last. Well it's been over two years since he came and still no issues. Listen please change your filters regularly, clean your condenser coils every year or two and if it's working well leave it alone.
If you must service your unit call a smaller well rated company usually three to five employees and two to five trucks. The owner is hopefully an honest family man who has a conscience.
In my opinion these big companies depend on new sales, overcharging and high cost maintenance plans to survive. Their technicians are pressured to sell and charge high prices to keep growing and maintain their high business costs.

I needed a company I can trust. I chose GAC because of their radio commercials. Ok I am a putz but it worked out fine.

Troubleshooting can be hit and miss, even for pros. How many times has your car mechanic been wrong, and they can see everything. In a house leaks can be anywhere, the little rascals. Our tech had the right gear, the right approach, and colorful little booties. It's all about the gear. Plus I got a cool warranty...get it, ""cool"" warranty? He recharged our system and explained everything as he went.

We purchased the package deal, and saved some coin on both the summer and fall service. Comes with a plumbing inspection, which like most of my pipes I have not seen yet.
