Gerald Alldredge was raised in the heart of Texas in the year 1948, making him a seventh generation Texan with a ancestor who fell at the Alamo (Jonathan Lindley) and another who fought alongside General Sam Houston at San Jacinto (Hiram Little). Gerald's military background includes service with the 593rd Signal Group, 1st Battalion, during Vietnam, and also with the 2nd of the 12th, 1st Air Cavalry, during Vietnam. In 1969, he commenced his career with Gene Welch Plumbing, gaining knowledge in residential plumbing. He worked 3 years until he obtained his journeyman license. He then joined Freddie Bailey Plumbing, learning about residential repair plumbing for a year. He earned his master plumbing license MPL8635. He continued Walter Pickett at John Moore Plumbing, acquiring expertise in business plumbing.

Gerald is a former president of PluMeCo-Plumbing and Mechanical Contractors Council of Harris County. He is the creator and initial president of AMP-Associated Master Plumbers of Harris County.
