I called Gilmore for the seasonal service as I was aware they were creating a greater presence in Sacramento. I was aware of their professional manner as they installed a Lennox heater and duct work at my Pollock Pines home in 1990.
Though their technician placed a plug where technically it was suppose to go, my A/C over flow pan did not like the change. I had to call my warranty company to fix my very old A/C water condensation overflow pan from creating water damage in the attic.
I was very pleased Gilmore refunded their service fee as well as the warranty company fee for my inconvenience.
I understand my A/C is hooked up strangely but it still works. I appreciate Gilmore recognized as a consumer, I only care if the system is cooling the house.
They refunded my service fees in a prompt way which was the right thing to do.

We had an appointment for their special HVAC check. Our appointment took 1 month to be scheduled. The date came and they called to confirm the appt. by telephone a day before they were to come. We missed the call and called them back that same day with the number they left in the message to contact them with to confirm the the appt. The next day they called approximately one hour prior to the appt. time to say that they had cancelled the appt. due to the fact they couldn't get in contact with us even though the previous day we had left them a message to confirm we would be home. Maybe Gilmore Heating and Air should listen to their own messages! They then gave us another date 5 weeks from now. No thank you we are not using your service for YOUR convenience.

RELENTLESS junk mailers who are too incompetent, too stupid or too dishonest to remove someone from their mailing list. I still receive several mailers a year despite being told four times by four different employees over the last twelve months that I'd be removed.
If you care about supporting businesses who care about the environment (by not sending unwanted junk mail), or who respect people's wishes, or who do what they say they'll do, then go elsewhere. I know I will.

I am a trusting soul. Gilmore is a 45 year old ""trusted"" Sacramento company. Nice people. Arrived on time. Gilmore accepted an expired Groupon for which they still received the cash. The technician refused to accept difference in price for the a/c tune-up & water heater safety inspection. Sounds great so far right?.
We were charged a ridiculous amount for a $13.95 part & more for the installation- all supposedly at a 20% discount because we bought an annual membership. I was not provided a breakdown of costs.
I strongly suggest you find a more reputable service. Ask the right questions. Insist on a complete breakdown of cost and view the part that was replaced. Be less trusting. I will be in the future.

Gregory came out yesterday for an AC check up I bought on Living Social for $64. When I called the office they had no idea regarding the Living Social deal, and Gregory never saw one either. All went smoothly, Gregory spent a little over an hour and did a thorough inspection. He was really, really nice and did a great job.

I have had different HVAC companies come in and tune up or fix a problem on my AC, but this is by far the best company with the expertise!
Joe Segon took time to look at all the components. He took pictures of what he saw in the attic and explained everything thoroughly. My husband and I both agree that this is the company to call when you need work or tune up on your air conditioner or heating unit! If you want an honest company with great work, Gilmore is the company to call!

Incredibly rude !!! They scheduled me 4 weeks out, then they called the day before my appointment and cancelled. Said they don't service mini split systems. Why not tell me that when I scheduled the appointment!! Also lady on the phone sound like a cranky old school teacher with rotten smokers breath

We highly recommend your having routine service/maintenance on your home heating & air conditioning units; can save you thousands of $$$ in the long-term. We've had excellent service from all of Gilmore Heating, Air & Solar Technicians. I want to thank Joseph Maestas for servicing our units recently: very polite, efficient, answered all our questions & felt he also went out of his way to be especially helpful . Thank you again!

Had a need for these guys for the second time today since moving to the area three years ago and they are always prompt and efficient in getting things fixed. Highly recommended for anyone in need of their services.

Finally, a great experience working with a heating & air company. Gilmore's technicians were courteous, always called to let me know when they were coming, and showed up on time or even early on some occasions. I had tried for over two years to work with the highly advertised company that originally installed my HVAC unit to get it to work correctly. They couldn't seem to manage and didn't seem to care about living up to their guarantees.
Gilmore found numerous problems with the original install and promptly fixed them in a workmanship-like manner. They offered to come back if anything wasn't quite right. My home is finally comfortable, the unit isn't running constantly, and the ducts are free of the insulation the other company got into them during the initial install.
