We suffered with the ugly tract home gas fireplace for years. This new one has a remote control that you can set a temp which will keep your room comfy. The exterior vent from the old one is gone & you can't tell where it once was. This is such a natural beauty- well worth the time to refresh your room with a special fireplace. Have to say a big thank- you to Mark Leonard Construction who brought everything together in a seamless fashion.

After getting several estimates to replace my 30 year old HVAC system I called Giddens Brothers. Bill came out, evaluated my house, checked my system, and said he would return with a bid the next day. Giddens Brothers bid was $5,000.00 less than the other best bid. These bids were all for the exact same system (Rheem) and size. Needless to say, I signed the papers with Bill. His crew of 3 fantastic techs arrived on the appointed date and hit the ground running. Their professionalism was beyond compare. They inspected all the ductwork, sealed all the registers, and completed the work in several hours. I am 100% satisfied, and am getting an estimate for a new tankless water heater to replace my current 30 y/o tank. Thanks Giddens Brothers!

Initially when the service guy came out he said we had a clogged line to our heater. We were charged for service call and for his work of blowing it out. $ 180 something dollars. Less then 4 weeks later heater stops working. They come back out only to tell us that it is the circuit board and want to charge us another service call plus cost of board. This would be an additional $382. Over priced.

These folks are as honest as they come, and the prices are very reasonable. The HVAC system went out on a rental I own ( the system 38 years old so not a big surprise!) just as it was starting to get cold. Bill got out there quickly, and gave me an estimate. My husband is a general contractor and when he heard the quote, told me not to bother getting another estimate.The new unit installed a few days later. I am so relieved as a landlord to know there is a company I can turn to that will get work done quickly and for a very fair price.

I just witnessed them come out literally say nothing speak nothing about what's wrong with the a/c. The guy seemed friendly in beginning but he had this weird look on his face. I had to ask the guy before he left what was wrong with it. He gave me a short answer it's the compressor as he was walking out. I asked him well what's the cost? Doesn't even give me an estimate but says someone will get back to you. Thought that was so odd. Now I understand why I seen the person I was helping quote today and it was over $4000. I recommend if you call them for an estimate stand outside and watch the technician. I don't know something seems shady especially the guys body language when he left. Good thing we have cameras all over the property. After what I just witnessed thank God it wasn't my a/c I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. They seem like a shady company if you knew that the cost to replace is a few thousand why not give someone a heads up.

I just want to thank Bill for his fast acting on my A/C I had called rt after hours. The next morning Bill called rt away he said that he just happen to come in early I told him what was up he said I'll have a guy there today. I bet if this was another company it would have been a week before anyone could come out this is why I will always deal with Paul&Bill they put my 1st A/C in my house and they will be the only ones that I will call. I tell everyone that ask me that there best bet is with Giddens Brothers. Thank you Paul& Bill and your staff for all you guys do.

My thermostat wasn't working today and I called several other H&A contractors trying to get someone out as we didn't have heat. Called Giddens Bros and they were able to help by suggesting maybe I needed new batteries. It worked! When they say ""free advice"" in their ad it's for real!! Guess who I'm calling when I need a repair or a new system for my home or rental...Giddens Bros in Galt of course

I recently purchased a Regency gas insert for my fireplace from Giddens Brothers. They were vey knowledgeable concerning the type and size insert that would work best and had several designs to choose from. They knew exactly what I needed to succesfully complete the application for the Air Resources Board rebate too. Very accomodating for the installation scheduling and they have their own professional installation crew. The work was completed on time and they did a great job with all aspects of the installation. The Recency insert is great! I would highly recommend Giddens Brothers.

These guys are not professional at all. They charge you for services that they did not even fix or complete. I wouldn't recommend these guys at all. Go somewhere else and save your time and money. Had 2 different tech guys come out and each of them had a different reason as to what was wrong with my AC system. They obviously don't know what they're doing and are doing unnecessary repairs and sticking you with a large bill.
