I was able to get an appointment quickly and one that worked with my schedule. Service Tech Jason was knowledgeable and had great customer service. Hoping my problem is fixed and I won't need A/C service for some time but if I do..... I'd call Again!

This place overcharges and does not have good customer service. One of the guys is not a people-person. It's too bad I went through them first because of these ""great reviews."" I was out a couple hundred dollars and they didnt do anything for me. After experiencing yet another unit issue, I decided not to go back through these guys after the first bad experience. I found a different company in Galt and am very happy with their service. This other company fixed my issue and was reasonably priced.
This place charges for a ""service fee"" just to come out and look at the issue. They don't schedule on weekends either, so it makes it very inconvenient for their customers who work M-F. What a waste of my time and money!

After our ac/heating system died we checked several providers including calling SMUD for advice. We settled on the best by far, Giddens Brothers in Galt. Paul Bill, Nick and Duncan provided us the most professional, best value, most expert and expeditious installation (within 5 days of signing contract) that we have experienced in a long time. In fact because of the value, service, and professionalism we are going to also have them install a new water heater. Thanks Paul, Bill, Nick, and Duncan.

I shopped for a gas fireplace from Manteca, Stockton, Lodi and to Galt. I found the salespeople at Gliddens Brothers to best suit my interests. They were not overly pushy in wanting to make the sale by easily answered all questions I had.

My ac unit stopped working the night before, called Giddens and they came out the same day. Jason was fast and honest. This the 3rd time we di business with Giddens and am satisfied every time. I definitely recommend them.

STOP scrolling and call Bill at Giddens. He is an honest businessman with integrity, which is difficult to find in this industry.

My AC was not working so I called a local company to come out and the tech said I would need need "" a new unit"", $4,000 plus. Called another company out to look at the unit, same ""story"" saying a new unit would be needed.

I decided to contact Giddens Brothers in Galt and Bill stated the same estimate would be 25% less than the other two I had been quoted. He provided this without the mandatory service call and charge.

His tech arrived and repaired two shorted wires and had my unit running in half an hour. He could have easily installed a new unit without me knowing and charged me. Instead a quick repair and a few hundred dollars and the system is running like new.

Call them if you are looking for ""old fashioned service"" and fair pricing!

Giddens Brothers installed the AC and heating systems in our new home so when we built a RV garage and pool house they were the only company considered. They worked around our time schedule for construction and did a great job. We did have one small issue but it was resolved to my satisfaction. keep up the great work!

Bill has no bed side manners but service is fast, efficient, and reasonable. The actual technicians are a lot friendlier than the owner.

No B.S. stuff, just an honest good repair. I'd highly recommend them before joining another company that offers membership for elitists.

I have been using the services of Giddens Brothers for the last decade in my rental property, based on a recommendation from a friend and found them to be honest and competent. I have never been overcharged or had a bad repair or service. They have fixed a broken thermometer, furnace, and have installed a water heater, and I call them once a year for preventive maintenance on the AC/furnace system. I have had tenants who have overused and abused my AC/furnace, and they could have taken me for ride, but never have done so. They are one of the few businesses in the area in which I feel comfortable in conducting all my business over the phone and need not be present when a repair is being made. Feel free to call them with questions or a bid request, they will happily answer your questions and not pressure you to buy a product.
