I had an issue with my heating unit the evening of Thanksgiving where it was not working. The next day, I knew there might be an issue with having a technician come and repair since it was a holiday weekend. I called Getzschman and the person I spoke with was professional and polite. She was very clear that a technician would be able to come to the house but was unsure of a time since it was a busy day with service calls.
Brian, our technician called me much earlier than I had expected to inform me that he was on his way. He was great! He was very professional, fixed the issue (which was minor) and was great to chat with. Best part...I have heat again!
I've never used Getzschman Heating & Air Conditioning before but would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

We made a service call several weeks back, and the provider came early, wore appropriate uniforms and protective booties, and was very professional. All issues were resolved within the hour, and the bill was very reasonable. Overall, I would gladly call them again for future service calls.
Fast scheduling service. I got an appt the same day I called. During the heat wave. Really friendly and knowledgeable people. Nathan (service) got me up and running until I could get a new unit. Corey got me set up for one the next day. First thing Monday it will be installed. Wow! Wow! Wow!

We called around to some other shops in Omaha and were told multiple times they were busy and not taking on jobs as small as ours.
Getzschman came out to do a bid on a Tuesday and was able to complete the work 2 days later, on a Thursday.
The guy who came out for the bid wore a mask, which I highly appreciate. No matter where you are at on the spectrum of masks, it should be a no brainer for a contractor to wear a mask when entering someone else's home.
I knock them one star because the person who did the work, was not wearing a mask.
The quality, speed and price of the work was excellent. I would have no hesitation in recommending Getzschman to a friend!
Adam R.After having 2 previous quotes to have my blower fixed, $1600 and $1700 bucks, I called Getzschmans. Jim came out to do the job, and fixed the blower for $350!!!! The big names want to sell you things you don't need. Customer service was top notch! I highly recommend using them!

Isaiah A.Our AC stopped blowing cold air about a week ago. I called around to several AC/Heating services and, due to this time of year, was told they were all booked for a couple weeks out. I called Getzschman and was told they could come out on a Monday. They couldn't make it that day and rescheduled on Wednesday. Thankfully they were able to come that day and diagnose and fix the problem promptly. Although the scheduling mishap was unfortunate, I appreciate the friendly service and fair price of the repair.

For most of December, we were without heat. We had to call a heating professional on Christmas Eve. We thought we would try Getzschman and appreciated they have after hours calls. The technician that came out that night, Jimmy, was very professional and friendly. We were grateful to have heat! We were also grateful we could afford to pay him. We were impressed by his service and his friendliness.
We then had to have someone come out a couple of days before New Year's Eve, as we did not have heat again. The technician, Josh, was not friendly. He was sarcastic when we were trying to figure out if we could go ahead and have the part (ignition board) he said we needed installed; we were trying to figure out our finances. He said ""Well, if you don't do it, you'll just have to learn how to wear coats for the rest of the winter."" He then commented when he was finished, ""Boy, you guys have a lot of stuff."" When it was time to pay, he could only get the limit our bank puts on our account out, that night. He had to bill us for the rest and he was not happy about that.
We then had to call Getzschman a third time last week, as we were once again without heat. This time, a woman by the name of Stacy, came out. She was not friendly at all. She told us we should replace our furnace soon-in a blunt manner. She did not have a friendly demeanor. She was put out, because she had to park out front. She told us this time, it was a heat exchanger that needed to be replaced. She told us she needed to order the part.
Fast forward to today. We once again had Josh. He commented on what my father who is retired, was watching on our TV. He asked my father who worked hard his entire life, why he and another member of the family were home, why they were not at work. He once again commented on how we have ""a lot of stuff."" He asked who owns the house. When it came time for us to pay, he tried to run the card that had well over what he quoted for the bill. He said it wouldn't go through. We told him there may be a limit set by the bank and to try $25 less. He tried again and said it still wouldn't go through. He then sarcastically said ""I ran it clear down to $100 and it wouldn't go through."" He then said, referring to the part he just installed, ""You want me to take it out then?"" ""What do you want me to do?""
We feel as if we were disrespected by a company with whom we thought we could forge a professional relationship. We are disappointed.
