Hang on kids, we're going for a ride.

Install for new AC and furnace. Guys are super friendly, polite, and answer all of my questions. One guy shows me pictures of his dog - awesome.
Later that night I notice water dripping from the humidifier down the side of my furnace. I call and the on-call guy walks me though how to stop it.
The next day, a service guy comes out and tells me that the install guys forgot the condensation hose that connects the humidifier to the drain pipe. He connects a hose and tells me I'm good to go. He too shows me pictures of his dog - lovely.
The next morning, the rug next to my furnace is wet - the drainage pipe is leaking. I call again and the same service guy comes out and tells me the install guys didn't glue the drainage pipe pieces together. He glues them together and I point out that it looks like it's still leaking. He tells me it's just water from when he took it apart and leaves. About half hour later I look, and sure enough there's a puddle. I call him and he says he'll turn around and come back. He does and tells me a thingamajig wasn't tightened at the bottom and NOW we're good. (Note: I had to leave work early twice for this.)

A few days later the electrician and a guy doing something with the gas line come out. Again, super friendly and polite.
A couple hours later I notice it's getting toasty in my house. Thermostat reads 77 and there's a yellow triangle symbol with an exclamation point, that when I click on it says, ""Communication Error, "" to not try and fix it myself, and to contact my dealer. So I call. Again.
On-call guy walks me through a reset that doesn't work, so he comes out, only to find they didn't flip the power to my AC back on. He apologized and said their notes showed they checked everything was working before leaving, which clearly wasn't true.

The final part of their installation service is called ""commissioning"". I have a text message stating my appointment is on Friday, May 16, between 3 and 3:30. I leave work early, arrive home at 3, and shortly after 3:30 call to get an ETA. I am told my appointment is for the following Monday at the same time. I look at my work schedule and confirm I can make it work between appointments IF he can be there right at 3.

Commissioning guy is right on time, fully explained my new unit and thermostat, and made adjustments to optimize it to my home. He was very helpful and even fixed an issue I was having with my front door, which obviously, was completely unrelated to his visit.

Overall, I'm satisfied.. A very annoying and inconvenient start, but they are prompt with fixing issues. I also like their service plan (free for the first year) and that it includes every 6 months maintenance and a furnace filter.

This company advertises 24 hour emergency service. Yesterday, I returned home to discover my a/c was not working. I called Getzschman and requested a technician asap. This was not at 1AM, this was 6:15 PM on a Saturday night. I was told a tech would be calling shortly. It is 5:21 PM on Sunday, no one has called, even to follow up with me. I am sadly never surprised by poor service what I would suggest is this company stop advertising 24 hour emergency service when they clearly can't provide it.
Will not do business with them in the future.

Made an appointment online to have my A/C looked at since it was not blowing cold air. Easy to schedule an appointment on their site and they got back to me quickly. The projected date they could come out was a week away, but that was to be expected given it is the beginning of the season and most people are probably having their units serviced or finding out like myself, that something is not working right. They were able to fit me in the next day and fixed the issue quickly! Ben H was very helpful and explained what he needed to do as well as how signing up for their service plan would save me money not only today, but on any future repairs/diagnostic work. He did not try to sell me the service plan, I inquired about it. The cost to repair what was wrong even without signing up for the service plan was fair and affordable. I would definitely recommend Getzschman! Thank you!

As a homeowner for 10 years in the Omaha area I have used Getzschman exclusively until now. The service technicians have always been honest and great to work with. Less than a year ago I purchase a brand new heat pump after my 15 year old system was no longer viable. They gave me a slight price reduction based off their last repair not extending the life of my old system and the cost was still 15K which seemed pricey. My first warning sign was during installation the installers didn't replace the return lines to the exterior unit as quoted on the install and they took my brand new smart Honeywell thermostat with them when I told them I would purchase a new one that included humidity control and they could just install the cheap Honeywell digital one that came with the system. After purchasing the new smart Honeywell thermostat the new installer came out and said I didn't have enough wires running to their newly installed cheap thermostat, I wasn't home at the time so I dropped it but there actually was enough wires. Then just recently the exterior fan unit wasn't running and they sent out a service technician who said he found a voltage fault that was causing a problem. He said there would be no charge as it was under the 5 year parts and labor warranty. Then after this, Fred the service manager said that the labor for diagnostics is not free because I didn't sign their service agreement. Needless to say my heat pump with be serviced by another company with their G-Force sticker garbage all over it from now on. I don't know what has changed but they obviously are only looking to keep people over a barrel and not honor the work they do and the products they have already installed.

They gave me a great price and the technicians went above and beyond in both installations to make sure my old wiring was replaced and the old corroded chimney was replaced. Thanks to Jesse and brad for the excellent hot water heater installation. It's really given me peace of mind to have these items updated and up to code!

I had an issue with my heating unit the evening of Thanksgiving where it was not working. The next day, I knew there might be an issue with having a technician come and repair since it was a holiday weekend. I called Getzschman and the person I spoke with was professional and polite. She was very clear that a technician would be able to come to the house but was unsure of a time since it was a busy day with service calls.

Brian, our technician called me much earlier than I had expected to inform me that he was on his way. He was great! He was very professional, fixed the issue (which was minor) and was great to chat with. Best part...I have heat again!

I've never used Getzschman Heating & Air Conditioning before but would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

This is the 3rd HVAC company I have used in 7 years, and I am really pleased with the outcomes today. We made a service call several weeks back, and the provider came early, wore appropriate uniforms and protective booties, and was very professional.
