We got a note from the gas company during a building inspection that we couldn't have rope on our dryer ventilation pipe (put there by a previous owner) and needed to replace it with heat-resistant tape. The gas company advised us to call out a plumber for the fix. After a previous plumber I called completely balked at the job after he got here (even though I'd told his company exactly what I needed in advance over the phone), saying that he wasn't going to move the dryer to fix it--I called Gerhard Weise, who I am familiar with due to work they do for our HOA. The Gerhard Weise plumber threw away the rope and replaced it with heat-resistant tape in 10 minutes, all while only slighting moving the dryer to gain access. Thank you!

Terrible service. Do not use. Grumpy scheduler who answers phone has no access to historical account info, claims the next available ""technician"" will call, never does. Find someone else.

I'm surprised to learn these guys have an online presence, because they are so busy trying to satisfy their customers in the field; I would think that they have no other time left in the day...Our leak began while on vacation and coming home to a dripping sound under the sink pretty much ends your vacation mode. I called and requested non-emergency services and was given an appointment for the next day. On the same day I called, they called me back to show-up early that evening to take a look. They diagnosed the need for a new faucet, came back the next day to install it and the whole thing was back together, dry and functioning before the original appointment time had elapsed! You may say I got lucky, but I feel completely satisfied with this kind of service ~ FIVE STARS*****!!!!!

I've only needed a plumber a few times since buying my house but have learned very quickly that when I do need one I need one I can trust! This company has been prompt, honest and incredibly fair prices! It's a family company and the owner is super friendly and personable. Today an unexpected water heater explosion that could have been a huge pain in the butt was an easy fix with a phone call. He even took the stress out of figuring out which water heater we needed and just brought one with him that he felt was the best choice and price making the whole thing easy on me! I would recommend this company to anyone. Take down this number incase you find yourself in a plumbing disaster!

Service used to be good years ago BUT NO LONGER! One star is too, too generous. Both the plumber and the owner shame the ""Bubba"" description of radio ads! The plumber did a shabby temporary fix of a bathroom sink stopper that again became inoperable the next day and then did unnecessary/unrequested work to take advantage of a female senior citizen without leaving an invoice. Although numerous calls were made, including speaking with the owner twice, requesting that a plumber return to fix the sink, no one ever returned despite the promises of two secretaries and the owner day after day. For almost two weeks, the senior was left re-arranging appointments and waiting for plumbers that never showed. Finally, another company had to be contacted to do the repair. A month later, and invoice arrived in the mail for $90 for service never rendered.

Update - They DID find a leak under the slab.
It wasn't exactly where they said, but close enough so that I feel
they should get paid for their work.

I still think there should be an ""attitude adjustment"" however.

I have used Gerhard Weise Plumbing on several occasions and have always been very pleased with their work. Their rates are reasonable and they are timely and professional. I have never felt like I was being given the run-around or being up-sold. They come in, take care of the problem, and leave everything clean and back the way it was when they arrived. If you've had bad experiences with other plumbers, I recommend giving Gerhard Weise a try.
