Seriously overpriced.

I have a rental property that had a leaking toilet. Tech arrived as scheduled, determined the problem and provided a quote. (Wax ring under the toilet - $400) I thought the cost was absurd, but I had a tenant that had been waiting for the repair.
I'm pretty handy, so I normally do my own repairs, but I have been very busy lately. I know what it takes to replace the wax ring and it shouldn't cost that much.
Later in the day, the tenant called to say the handle on the toilet was broken. I don't know what happened, but I sure wasn't going to have George Brazil back, even if they did it. I took the time to do it myself.
George Brazil will never be allowed on any of my properties again.
Rating should probably be lower.

So I just want to say that my experience with George Brazil was exceptional, Our air went out. On a thursday afternoon the hottest day of the year so far in July, We called for an emergency service and were told that they would be out between 8pm and 12am that night. To our happy surprise a technician named Rick had called us up about an hour after we got the appointment and told us he was in the area and would be right over to take a look at the problem. Not only did he find the problems but offered us very fair pricing and excellent service as well as quick too. So thankful for the service that was offered. Rick was very good and knowledgeable as well. Great work at a fair price. Thank you

Terrible don't waste your time
Guy showed up atb4:30 after saying be there between 1and 2 than says cant help
Because Ac unit is on roof which two story doesn't even check to see if roof access from second floor which right at top of stairs right outside my door ..tell me how can give me number of another company...its 5 o'clock waited all day for him...and just blows off ...take your business some where else...

They came out to fix a shower valve and were very nice and compassionate to the issue. Tried and failed and told me it would be $1000 to replace the shower valve!!! Completely over priced and knew I was stuck with a leaky valve. Had them just cap off the water lines (still charged over $150) Then proposed a plumbing refit for $20,000 to re-pipe the house. Good company if you're rich and don't care about money but other than that stay away!!

I explained to the electrician my future plans. Which I would have happily parted with more money for bigger wire. Instead he put in what I needed at the time (and technically skimped). The main reason I hired them was to run wire for an electric pool heat pump. The wire he put in was so small that they guy installing the heat pump did not want to do it. The Brazil electrician showed that the wire was large enough by code. And the heat pump installer conceded. That leaves no room for expansion. So if you want to get gouged, and not get what you need... hire George Brazil.

Stay away from these guys, they are unskilled and lazy as they come. They try to sell me a toilet for $500, it only needed a wax ring that cost $1.99. We have a leak in the wall they did not know how to trouble shoot, it was a waist of the $50 bucks they charged for the service call.
Train you people George Brazil before sending them out into the field and deal with real plumbing problems.

Had the folks from George Brazil out to replace a leaking main shutoff valve. While he was there, I asked if he could install a 90 degree valve in that same line to cutout the irrigation. He also noted that the incoming pressure was excessive and recommended a regulator. All three components were on the same piece of pipe. Why do I mention this? Each job is charged a 'standard' rate based on the hours noted in their reference list. The cummulative hours for these three jobs were billed as if they'd all been done separately. The time taken on this job was less than half what was used for billing purposes. Complete rip off.

Last year I had a new AC unit installed which has saved me a lot of money in utility bills. From the salesman, to the dispatcher, to the technician I have received nothing but the most fantastic customer service. Recently I scheduled a routine maintenance call and Jason, the technician, was extremely professional, courteous and informative. Being a new resident of Sun City I have encountered several companies dealing with my move in but no one compares to the personnel with George Brazil. I tried to do the survey Jason sent to my phone but could not access it so I hope this will get to him to express how appreciative I am for the great service.

I recently have given a very bad review of their cost to fix my washing machine hoses. They got in touch with me right away and looked into the charge.
it seems the tech charged me the wrong rate. i received a 200.00 credit back. That is customer service!!. Even tho I got the credit I feel the price was very high and thats the reason for my rating.

We didn't end up using their services because their prices are ASTRONOMICAL. We got new countertops installed and to hook up the plumbing to the new sinks (connecting a pipe and putting the faucet on) was quoted to us at $1500. Are they insane? How are they still in business?
