My father works for a pretty big plumbing supply store in San Diego and recommended them when my grandmother's drain clogged. After getting the busy signal several times a woman answered, I told her the situation and she told me the earliest they'd be able to come out was the next morning. Great, I expected that, no problem. The next morning we didn't get a call or anything, finally around 10:30-11:00 we call and the woman treated me like we had never talked and said they'd have some out between 1-3pm.
Around 2:45pm two young guys pull up in an unmarked white truck and get out, I assume they're the plumbers. They try using their snake on the drain through the sink itself then go through the washout behind the sink but have no luck. They say they don't have the right tool and leave. That's the last we hear from them. We didn't know if they were coming back the same day or the next morning, no communication. The next morning we call them to see when they'll be back out to FINISH the job they started.The same woman answered and once again treated me like a customer she had never talked to.
I asked when they'd be back to finish and she told me she would have to check and see if someone could come out that day. You would think a job they came out and started and hadn't gotten paid for yet would be a priority but apparently not. I told her to cancel the job and instead of trying to keep it or apologizing she said ""ok"" and hung up.
So due to their ineptitude not only did they lose this customer and will not be getting paid but they lost all the referrals my father and his company regularly gives out.

Have been using them for years. Great inexpensive price - fast courteous service from techs. If you call in the morning they are out the same day. If you call when they are closed, they come out the next day. They give you a 2-hour window appointment time. Take into consideration they are extremely affordable, therefore, very busy. Like any service company, unexpected problems may arise (maybe at your place) and it may take a little longer to arrive. Take a few moments to call back to see if there are any delays. Definitely not rude just efficient and to the point. The quoted price is the cost - no hidden charges.

This place is great. Called at 830am and Jess was here at 1130am fixed my problem in 35 min. and charged me $20. Love them!!

Reviews seem to be all over the place for these guys, but both of my experiences with them have been fantastic. Very cheap--no $90 1 hour minimum service calls here. I had Nick come out right away a few years ago. This time it was Dustin. Both were very quick and even took the time to explain routine maintenance to prevent further issues. The woman who took my call was also very easy to deal with and got back to me right away. From first call to completion of service was about 2 hours and cost $20.

How can you screw a loyal customer over? I'll tell you how...

Called Monday at 9:00 a.m. and was told that I would be serviced between 1:30-3:30 p.m. at 4:15 p.m. they called and said would be another hour. At 5:30 p.m. some called and hung up on me and when I called back I got the answring machine. I called again on Tuesday and the appointment scheduler acted like she had no idea who I was...we recheduled and someone did show up but could not unclog the drain. She promised somone more experienced would come on Wednesday. On Wednesday nobody called or showed up.

Very disappointed. I wasted 3 days trying to get my drain unclogged by these guys and I can't believe the disappointed. No shame.

Great drain service, inexpensive and good work. They have never been unable to clear any of my drains despite more expensive companies telling me to expect high fees and a big job. Very impressed with this drain service. Have used them numerous times.

Unbelievably amazing service!! Called around 8am, and had a plumber arrive a few minutes later. Cleaned tub drain & shower drain for $30!!!!!!!! The plumber was gone before 8:45. Super kind & professional...thank you, Jess!!

So far, no good. I called yesterday & was told I would receive a call right back. Hours later, I got a message on answering machine saying they'd call this morning to set up an appointment. Yes, the lady did call this morning - she told me someone would be here between 10:30 - 12:30. Since I hadn't seen anyone or heard a thing, I called at 1:20pm & was told he was still in another city. When I said I needed to leave, she actually asked if I'd leave a key under the mat or with a neighbor! Uh, no... Why would I leave a key for someone who doesn't show up when they say they will, who didn't even bother to call me? I don't know this company & obviously they haven't established any trust with me, so I definitely will NOT be leaving a key out.

I did read the reviews on here & chose to call anyway because of the ""cheap"" service. They were also recommended by a trusted friend because of their prices. I am big on customer service & this is very disappointing. My husband always says ""Don't go cheap..."" We'll see how this turns out...

Called at 11am, two guys came out at 1pm. Bath tub drain unplugged in 20 minutes. Charged me $20.
I'm sold.

Baird's plumbing did not show up as scheduled, and did not even call back to let us know that they were not coming. When they do show up , they are always late.
