My 2 sinks were not draining well and my toilet was making a flushing nose without being flushed. I called first American home warranty and they sent Gennaro plumbing to my house. I had to make the appointment. They never called me. I was making an appointment over text. When they came, the plumber tried to fix the sinks and by pushing water thru the sinks with his hand. It worked for a bit but the problem came back minutes after he left. He then checked the toilet and said it's corroded inside and needs to be replaced since the toilet is old. He said he will order a western pottery toilet for me. And also water flush the sinks when he comes back. 3 days later I found out the work order has been closed because there was nothing wrong with my sinks and toilet. I couldn't get hold of the plumbers. No answer thru text. First American said their report stated no mechanical problems. The plumber didn't do anything and the problems I have before still exists. Nothing was fixed. My sinks are still overflowing and my toilet still makes a noise. I wouldn't recommend this company. Stay away. No communication at all.
So after three weeks of waiting. I finally got my sink and toilet fixed. I was assigned a new plumber and they were very professional and honest. They fixed the sink overflow, they cleaned the pipes below the sink and changed the flapper in the toilet. I don't need a new toilet.

When my husband missed called try to call back 5 times with no response. We were at house at 1 took time off work, they canceled again.

Would never ever recommend this company. They are contracted thru home warranty services. They write up false reports without even showing up to the property. They will dispatch Pro Dry for the mitigation. PLEASE STAY AWAY and save yourself the headache.

This is the absolute worst plumbing company around. They are not reliable and can careless about your needs. Customer service is terrible and not professional. Stay away from this company at all costs! Their technicians are always behind schedule and have to move your appointments however, the office staff doesn't reschedule your appointment!

DO NOT HIRE OR DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE EVIL,RUDE AND MAKE FALSE REPORTS! I filed a claim with my Sears home warranty for my water heater that is not providing hot water. My water heater is located in my back yard in a water heater house. It is perfectly fine and according to the gas company, the controller most likely is the issue. Gennaros reported that my water heater is corroded and that there is rat poop on top of the water heater house. Frank from Gennaros never brought a ladder to look on top of the water heater or on top of the water heater house. The water heater house sits on top of a 3 foot metal stand so there is no way to see on top without a ladder. The dropping on top of the water heater house is the flowers that fall from my Queen Palm tree located right next to the water heater. I have been without hot water for 5 days now and I have 3 small kids plus my disabled son whom requires bathing 3 times a day due to his health. Please listen to me, this company appears to get the $100 deductible for each service call and leaves them hanging. I called the manager and tried to explain and he rudely cut me off and went on to say that I'm wrong and I could eventually get a 2nd opinion. Really, 2nd opinion after being without hot water for 5 days now and who knows how long it will take. I asked the manager if they have sent over the report already to Sears warranty and he said I dont know...I dont work in that field. Omg.....I'm in tears in dealing with this company and there false alliteration.

One if the worst companies ever! I have had them come to my house twice (through my first American home warranty) once for a problem in our shower 2 years ago and another time ten days ago because of a leak in our bathroom faucet! Both times the guy has sent a report that we need to call the city regarding our problem and insurance denied our claim because of this nonsense!!!! The first time for the shower, our handyman fixed the shower head with$130 and still after 2 years the shower is working fine! Who needs to call the city for changing a washer????? Thats ridiculous, both times we had to pay $85 for the guy to come for nothing, waste of money!!!

I opened a ticket service ticket with American home warranty. I had a leak from my shower. On August 17 a plumber from gennaro's plumbing come's by by the name of fransico or franco i'm not sure exactly. He goes in the bathroom telling me he couldn't do the job because there is water damaged and he knew a guy that will come out and check for water damage and he will go ahead and contact your homeowners insurance. Some guy came out and contacted my homeowners insurance who sent out a pack out company who took things from under my bathroom sink my daughters bed room and all her toys from her closet. They billed to my homeowners insurance for about 11,000 thousand dollars. which m insurance declined. I then called American home warranty where they told me that franco closed out the ticket that the work was completed on August 17th. I advised them nothing was fixed in the bathroom and everything is the same. They reopened the ticket and i get a text from gennaro's assistant i believe stating that i was suppoed to contact them once the bathroom was ripped out. I advised how was i supposed to know and no one has been in communication with me for about a month or so. she made an appointment with me on 9/21/23 from 11-3 pm. As i was waiting on the plumber not to mention he showed up at 430 pm stated that no contractor has marked where he needed to move the pipes and he knew a contractor that would come out and mark up where he needs to move the pipes. He then calls the contractor he leaves says he's coming back and never came back. As i was waiting on the plumbing company to come the lady named brandy texted me a work order from another customer with the same exact thing they claimed was wrong with my bathroom and a mitigation company had to come out. I then have been on the phone with American home warranty they keep telling me they cant send out another plumber because they have started the process and that the work order claims he changed the water vaule nothing has been changed gennaros plumbing and american first warranty and both the shittest companies and reading these reviews im not the only one. I still have no bathroom no toilet and no pipes fixed. Just now today i got a call from his contractor he then ask me what my home insurance was and he will be out tomorrow at 10 this is a big ass scam for them to get more money. First american home warranty isn't doing anything only thing they are giving me is my service fee back for the inconvience

This place is horrible... they were the chosen company by my home warranty. My water heater went out and they gave me a 5 hour window in which they would come. I work full time about 10 minutes from home, so I asked them to give me a 15-30 minute heads up when they would be here. The operator then called me telling me the plumber was already at my home, and that ""requesting a notice prior to arrival is just that - a request - and doesn't mean it's going to happen"". I told the operator I would be there in 10 minutes and to please have the plumber wait. When I got home, he was gone. He left his business card on my door RIGHT next to the note with my phone number asking him to call me when he arrived, and he never called me. I then called the plumber and the operator multiple times and never once received a response back. I left work for nothing and never heard from them. The operators are rude, unhelpful, and unresponsive. One of the most unreliable companies I have worked with.

I next week, I called to reschedule and I had to take the day off work to make sure I didn't miss the plumber. When he arrived, he asked for my husband (I live alone)... was condescending the whole time. Not here for more than 5 minutes. Please don't give this company your business.

This is the most hideous business that I have ever encountered. First of all the plumber came to fix my toilet but when he gets to my home he pulls up my toilet and he removes my tub because he said it had a leak, it has been three weeks now and I still don't have a toilet or tub and the cold part about it is that they took about two weeks to complete the report and when they did complete the report they failed to mention that the tub was taken out. It seemed like a scam!!!! I will NEVER EVER use Gennaro's Plumbing Company ever again!!! People Beware!!!
