My sink was clogged and Gennaro's was sent out through First American Home Warranty. If I could rate them a zero I would. They couldn't unclog it. The plumber tried to use a plunger and said it couldn't be unclogged. I had to get another plumber out and it just needed to be snaked. It took the 2nd guy 15 minutes to unclog it. Quick and simple!
Gennaros couldn't simply snake it? Terrible service. Don't ever use them. Demand another company if your warranty company sends Gennaro's. They are not trustworthy.

Don't hire these people. They were assigned by American Home shield to fix a leaking faucet. Gennaro's plumbing sent a guy to my house, he was very rude, unprofessional and arrived late. Then he didn't bother fixing my leaking faucet and instead just took pictures.

Worst company ever they were originally called through my home warranty company they came and gave me an estimate that was not covered which was also fine , I had no problem paying out of pocket . I scheduled an apt for today which is Tuesday june 28,2022 an I received a no call no show and when I called the company to see what was going on I got the biggest attitude from an older man named frank and someone else , i will never use this company they are not trust worthy and honestly aren't looking to make to much money I was willing to pay 3500 I'll polity give that to another reliable company . Better be happy I gave you guys 1 star which is required

This company is not trustworthy, if your home warranty company assigns them, demand (don't request) they change to a different contractor.

After I missed their initial scheduling call, I spent over a week trying to get a hold of them to schedule as they never seem to answer the phone. After multiple attempts, they finally got back to me and told me (not asked) that they would visit my home on a Thursday during a 4 hour time block. I advised them I could not make that time and they said they'd call me back. After going MIA again, the home warranty company scheduled it for another day which worked with my schedule. They never showed up (or never rang the bell/called) as at some point they left a sticker on my front door.

I later find out that they submitted a falsified report to the home warranty company stating they inspected it and the problem was resolved... despite never coming inside my home.

Five days ago I had a sewage back up into a front bathroom that ended up going into my front bedroom- this company was called to come out for the service thru my secondary insurance and they showed up said they could not do anything until it was cleaned up by a reconstruction company who immediately came out and did everything thing they were supposed to do - he said he would let Gennaro's know so that they could come out and finish addressing the plumbing issue. They were unable to reach them, as was I - them they said they needed an authorization letter from my HOA - my HOA said that there was no issues with them doing the work - but that was not enough- no response from them all weekend- so Monday they respond via a text - will not do the job HOA will need to send plumber- this was done without speaking to the HOA - I call the ins. Back yesterday and today and was told that they would be here between 10-2:00 and no call - no show - nothing - it was by way of another call to the ins company that I was informed that they at some point after stating they would be here declined to come
They are unprofessional and unreliable
Thankfully I found a prompt - professional- plumber who was her within 20 minutes who handled the problem within 15 minutes without any HOA issues!

This company deserves zero stars. They are so unresponsive and my insurance company contracted them to fix my hot water heater. They came out, didn't fix it, and I have had water leaking for over a month now but can't get them to respond or come back out. There so many good plumbers out there, this is definitely not one of them.

This company is beyond unprofessional, they should not even be allowed to operate in our community. They will make false claims to your warranty company saying that they did work that was never done!! I mean look at all the bad reviews!! If you use this company that's 100% your bad!!

Do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your time. The most unprofessional company I've ever dealt with. We told him a day didn't work for us because we wouldn't be home. He decided to schedule us on that day anyway after we asked for another day. As we're telling him that appointment time won't work he just hangs up. That type of unprofessionalism will get you no where. Also made sure to let HWA know to stop referring customers to this plumber. Makes me want to cancel my policy with HWA because they obviously don't care either.

Home warranty company referred them for our plumbing issue. The guy showed, said he was sent to fix a slab leak, not a clog, so he didn't have the proper equipment and would have someone call to reschedule. Three days later, multiple calls, texts, and emails between Gennaro's, us, and the warranty company and no response. They claimed we don't have a clean out so they can't help us. The guy didn't look for a clean out! We told them repeatedly where the clean out is located. No service. I let them know I'd be leaving a bad review. I was childishly told to grow up. Save yourself the trouble and call someone else.
