If I could give this company negative stars I would!!! They were contracted thru my home warranty company First American Home Warranty. They send this guy out he sees my kitchen faucet is leaking and say no problem the home warranty company should replace it. 3 weeks go by I never hear from this company again. I call to follow up and they have my simple kitchen faucet replacement mixed up with house that needs restoration. After another week goes by they send the same guy back to my house and I'm thinking he is coming to fix or replace the kitchen faucet he says no, now I'm sent for the garbage disposal not the faucet. I told him AGAIN the kitchen faucet is leaking and needs to be fixed or replaced he said there was nothing he could do for the 2nd time. Another 2 weeks go by with no follow up so I called my home warranty company. They told me he sent in a fraudulent report stating the faucet is not broken and working fine. By this time a full month has passed, faucet is still leaking, home warranty company deniedy claim because of his fraudulent report! My home warranty is sending another contractor out tomorrow because I was able to prove he was lying in his report! Don't walk RUN as far away from this company as you can!!!!!!!!! Horrible service, horrible follow up, and fraudulent reports are not acceptable!!!!!!!!?

I am very limited in writing bad reviews BUT this experience has been so egregious it warrants some time to warn anyone considering using this company. Like many of the other reviews, I was referred to them by my home warranty company (Cinch, also avoid at all costs!) for a slow-draining laundry drain. The plumber was so obsessed with making sure their was no water damage and insisted we have a leak detection company come out to ensure there was no water damage before he would even make an appointment. Which made ZERO sense, sink there was not a leak!! It was a slow, draining drain. When I attempted to question this, he immediately talked over me, was so incredibly rude, and insisted that it had to happen. At this point, now I just wanted to move the process along. So the leak detection came out, no leaks (surprise, surprise!), then they waited 48 hours to get the report before they would schedule - then finally 1 week later come out for their tech to literally glance in the general direction of the drain and tell me he didn't have the proper equipment to clear the drain. I asked what type of appointment he was scheduled for, to which he replied a drain clear. I then asked what equipment he needed, he replied a snake. So I clarified, ""you came to a drain clear appointment without a snake?"" He said, yes he didn't have one on his truck. I was so amused at this point, I laughed as he looked at me blankly. He apologized and promised to come back the next day. Its now been another week and the company refused to call me back or answer my texts. Unreal. Personally, I think homie has a some kind of in with this leak detection company and knows full well that by getting warranty work they do not need to have good service. So, getting a refund from Cinch and cancelling my contract. I went with Choice, they are cheaper and let you pick your own service companies!

liars! beware of this company!!! creepy old wierdo came in and started asking my young daughter strange questions! he looked at my faucets and didn't do anything! he then wanted to have them replaced with cheap walmart $45 faucets when my faucets are delta! he then lied to the warranty company. took 3 weeks for me to get a response from this creepy old man! finally argued with the warranty company who finally sent another plumber out and repair them in 5 minutes! all it was, was a seal. this is my second bad experience with this company! if you're looking for a good plumbing company cm plumbing services is the place to call. they are in norco.

Worst plumbing company. Lazy and give elementary advice on how I could fix problem. Told me to pour bleach on bathtub so water could drain, why didn't he just fix problem with his professional tools, LAZY

I had clogged drain in the kitchen sink. Gennero's told me he couldn't clear the drain and needed to call in an expert to climb on the roof and go through the vent. This was without ever touching the sink, or the drain. I asked him to tell me his name; he refused, got in his van and drove off.

I only came to Gennaro's via American Home Shield (AHS) and their antics...long story short...the company was the second referral for the day after the first one flaked on me...(no wonder....BEWARE OF ALL INTER CITY PLUMBING as well...their reviews are HORRIBLE yet AHS still uses them for their paying customers) ANYWAY...Franco from Gennaro's came out to the house to check for leaks...says it was coming from an old sprinkler system...simple to fix he said...no need to be home he said...here I am waiting for the job to be done...no one is contacting me...$100 waited...I finally learn that AHS doesn't cover such a leak...and I guess the job was not approved...BUT NO FN BODY GOT BACK TO THE CUSTOMER!!!!...in the meantime, I'm searching for a reputable plumber for a simple project...my water bills are outrageous now....you get one star because you, like AHS, lack integrity, and communication with customers...and that shit just don't wash with me...

Our home warranty (Old Republic) sent this company to identify and fix a water leak. The older gentleman who came was more interested in getting the $75 trade call fee in cash upfront then actually looking around the house. He was here under five minutes total, said he needed to get approval from OR for leak detection service, and that he would be back later in the afternoon. We did not hear from him ever again, but he did conveniently tell OR that we had faulty wiring (electrolysis) which (conveniently) is not covered by them. We had another plumbing company come today which found a leak in the toilet and confirmed that the guy totally made up a diagnosis.

This plumbing company is full of excuses. For weeks they had not come in to fix the leak in the master bathroom. We called out home warranty multiple times yet the plumber did not respond. Today they were scheduled to come in yet refused to do so because the truck ""broke down"" . My husband and I offered to wait the entire day yet the plumber still refused to come in because it was against his ""schedule"". We were on the schedule . The service with this company is horrendous, and i felt like i was being scammed. If we had not already paid home warranty, I would hire another plumber. Very strong negative recommendation.

Scam artists! Gennaro's was sent out by Old Republic because my water heater kept going out. They came on December 16 and he lit it and said right away it needed a new starter kit. If was a Friday and he said he would have the part by Monday.Two weeks went by and we heard nothing. I called Old republic on 12/30 and they got a hold of them and they said the part would be in on Monday... lies! Then someone calls me Monday (1/2) from Genarros claims they have a new order to come out. I asked if they got the part and the guy had no idea what I was talking about. He claimed nobody had even come to my house. He said ""It must have been a different company because we don't need to order parts we have all of our parts on hand"" he makes me an appt for the following day (1/3) between 11am and 2pm. Nobody ever came and we could never get a hold of the company, the calls always went straight to a vm that wasn't set up. I called old republic and somehow they get a hold of the company ( same number I had) and they told them that they had to order the part! I finally told old republic I wasn't dealing with them, filed a complaint and plan to add to their list of complaints at the better business bureau! Do yourself a favor and run from this company!!
