The garbage disposal they installed sucks. The rubber drain catch always falls into the disposal. Drives me crazy. Quick labor, cheap products.

I have no complaints, they were very knowledgeable and were willing to work around my schedule to make the repairs. They answered the phone every time I called with questions about billing and did their best to make sure I didn't come out of pocket for repairs.

Was referred to Gennaro's by First American Home Warranty. Had a problem with my water heater. Patricia initially called me within a day (Tuesday 3/21) of me submitting the claim online through First American. Set up appointment for next day. The technician showed up on time to collect the $65 deductible and check out the problem. He showed me a leak at the bottom of my water heater and told me it would have to be replaced. He did advise me that First American would only pay for the water heater and labor and anything else that was needed to bring the heater up to current code I would have to pay out of pocket. I said fine and later that day I received an email from First American saying that the water heater was ordered and to expect a call from the contractor to set up the installation. I received no call. I called and spoke to Patricia and she told me the heater was on back order, they would get it late Thursday 3/23 or early Friday 3/24. She also advised me to call First American and discuss the out of pocket charges that I was told about. I called First American and I was told it would be $400 out of pocket to bring it up to code. I agreed to pay since we had been without hot water since Monday 3/21 and needed it done ASAP. Friday came and went and no call from Gennaro's. I called them early Saturday 3/25 and left a message. Patricia called me back around 11 AM and told me they had the water heater but could not come out to replace it until Monday 3/27. I asked her if there was any possible way to do it sooner since I have kids at home and we desperately needed it done. She told me no but reassured me that I would be their first priority on Monday, 10 AM sharp. Monday came, 10:30 came around and no call no show. I called Gennaro's and I was told that the technician was on his way to pick up the water heater, ""he'll be there between 10 AM and 2 PM. 2 PM came and no call no show. My wife called and they told her that they had the heater but needed to order additional parts, ""they be here by 4:30 PM"". My wife blew her lid to the point she scared my youngest son. I called First American and asked them to send me another contractor. They said I had two choices. Let the current contractor complete the job or get a ""cash out"" check and find a contractor on my own. I opted for the check which would be for $600. I checked plumbers on Yelp (which I should of done with Gennaro's) and they all came around $1400. I'm gonna take the hit and pay for my water heater to get replaced by someone else. As I typed this review the new plumber called and said he was in route. Bottom line DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE TO DO ANY WORK FOR YOU!!! I couldn't comment on the quality of their work, never got close to experience it.

This company is pathetic. Plumber came (contract with home warranty) to my house, I ""told"" him where the leak was coming from. Showed him a video from my phone that it was leaking. He said ok, ran a moisture test (which he said there is no moisture) said he was going to contact First AM an left. 6 minutes! All of a sudden First AM said I have to make access for the plumber. Which I did. Then they came back and said in the plumbers report he stated there was mold so they will not come until mold remediation is done. WTF
Long story short I cut a bigger hole in my wall and send pics to First AM in which they were on my side (with there is no mold in the wall). They called the company who refused to come out unless there was a certificate of mold remediation.
First AM dropped them and got another contractor.
This company's a joke.

I would give this company a negative 5 stars. The worse customer service I have ever seen. Patricia seems to be in charge. If she worked for me she would lose her job. She told me she was going to call me back to schedule tech 4 times over a period of 5 days and never did. I had no hot water for 6 days. I called All Pro Plumbing. They came out the same day. My warranty covered it. Worse company.

If I could I would give them a negative rating. I had my son waste his whole day waiting on these losers just to be told after the scheduled window that there was an ""Emergency"" at another location and that they would not be arriving today. I should of checked Yelp prior to working with these idiots. How can they not have a backup on call person for incidents like this? So you are telling me everyone else on their schedule got cancelled also? Unacceptable! Never doing work with them, First American should remove them from their list.

Save your time and money and get a different plumbing company - Gennaro's Plumbing is a rip-off! I had no choice as my Home Warranty Company assigned Gennaro's Plumbing my work order. Frank (the plumber) was quick to determine I didn't have hot water coming into the house (that's the reason for the warranty call). He reported back to my warranty company that everything was fine which killed my claim and the $65 I paid him for and I still have luke warm water at 98 degrees coming into the house. Talked with Patty several times and she stated they were waiting on First American Home Warranty to authorize further fixing. When calling First American Home Warranty, They didn't have any records of Gennaro's contacting them! Since there was no follow up provided by Gennaro's to First American Home Warranty, the ticket was closed as Frank stated that the water Heater was working fine. Not only did they lie to me, but also to First American Home Warranty. I'm launching a Better Business Bureau and Attorney General complaint against Gennaro's as well as contacting the The Contractors State License Board of California as this company should not be allowed to do business with a State License.

Very very poor service. LESS THAN ONE STAR. First of all they claim that they left 2 messages and at the same time they told me that the Home Warranty Co had their system down for 1 week. Bunch of liars! The office person and the plumber that they send. They send an in-accurate report to First American Home Warranty. Don't ever ever use these company.

These losers had the nerve to send me into collections for a service I never even allowed them to do. I don't know how they are still in business. Luckily, I got it cleared up BUT the fact that they have the nerve to even do that.

Poor Poor Poor service, I do not recommend using this company at all and cannot understand how this company stays in business, probably being sustained by the home warranty companies.
If you are so busy that you cannot return a phone call for call back repair or give an honest answer you should not be in business.
Every time someone complains about this company they should also complain to Home Warranty Companies, Contractors State Licence Board, Better Business Burial, Department of Consumer affair and California Secretary Of State.
To the President/ CEO of this company Customers are trying to tell you what is wrong with your company if your not reading or listening to these complaints and not making changes then YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. (1 complaint is to many)
