Seriously right now if I could give a rating of zero I would. My main line to my house broke 3 weeks ago. They came put, cost me $800 and fixed it. They were out quick, a little pricey but ok. Yesterday my neighbor calls me water is coming out in gallons from the spot they fixed. So I immediately called them to say they have to come out. It's only been 3 weeks. The tech calls me and says it wasn't him that came , I didn't pay him so he will charge me. What ? I paid your company? I don't care who comes out. He said call my office and tell them to send the same guy. So then a guy comes out, the cement box around my meter they had laid crooked up against the 90 degree elbow and the pressure broke it. He said it was bad work but he can't fix it. He doesn't have that part. Isn't that a standard part. He will have someone there at 8 am. Great I have to miss more work. No one here at 8. So I call and she says they can't be here until 10:30. Are kidding right now. So I have to miss work, the water was spilling out at an alarming rate so who knows what my water bill will be and nothing I can do but wait. I am so pissed. Not a I'm sorry. Not a we will help with the water bill since our mistake. The girl on the phone doesn't apologize for the shit being done wrong and me having to miss work.

We needed a plumber asap! at our company and both of our restrooms was out of service so I called General Plumbing. Spoke with a really nice lady and she told me that she wiould have someone out right away. A really nice guy showed up within 45-minutes and he provided excellent service! we will continue to use *General Plumbing & Rooter and highly recommend them ! Very Professional and and Courteous!

I had a sewer backup and needed help fast...before the gunk coming the wrong way through the shower drain overwhelmed me.

Naturally, I turned to Yelp and specifically Request-a-Quote to get some service options fast.

Two five-star plumbers responded to my plea for help...in less than 60 seconds...on a Sunday...at 5pm !!

I picked General after the owner texted me through Yelp...and they were awesome. Had a truck and friendly, knowledgeable tech at my house in under an hour. Rooted out my drain in 20 mins and gave me all kinds of good advice on what to do next to get it fully fixed.

Kudos to Jorge, who not only helped me out but called back the next day to say he'd unplugged a sprinkler timer to run his roto and wasn't 100% sure he'd plugged it back in after he was done.

Total winner! These guys are good as it gets.

Great service. The customer representative was very nice for being called so late at night. She explained everything to me. The technician explained everything he was doing as he was fixing my clogged sink. He was very careful to not make a mess in my kitchen.

Overall, these guys were awesome! We had an old clay sewage line that needed replacement. They got me a quote within 24 hours of my request - which included a technician coming out to inspect the line within less than 18 hours. Super fast! They communicated clearly and quickly. They were very willing to answer all questions and concerns and did so in a quick manner.

When it came to the work itself, the only thing I would have preferred would have been that they could have done it sooner. However, They're a legit company with customers, so I understand having to wait a couple of days to get the crew out to a site when they have so much scheduled already. That said, the work they did was great. The workers were nice and quick. Pricing was as good as it could get from all the research I did. They finished the whole thing, including another pipe that they hadn't seen before within a work day. 7am -4pm. I've heard of comparable companies taking days to do the same job.

From their customer support to their front line crew, everyone I dealt with was great. I would recommend them to anyone needing professional help with plumbing.

If there is a service you need and you need it fast, well that is a plumber and plumbing services. This company did already a couple jobs for us and I cannot express with words the efficiency they have provided. Great work at a timely matter and they do go beyond the expectations since the last repair was more that we have anticipated and they were truly helpful explaining where and when the sewage went from bad to worse. All I can say now is thank you for your services and I truly recommend it to anyone that is looking for great service.

I had a big water leak in the ceiling of my kitchen after dinner and since it's Labor Day weekend, I was worried about finding a plumber to help me. Thank goodness I called General Plumbing and Rooter. Hugo Alvarado came to my house and figured out what was happening. A mouse had chewed through a fitting near a fire sprinkler head in my kitchen ceiling, causing a leak. Hugo ripped out the soggy sheet rock and insulation and dried everything out as best he could. He was super helpful with the cleanup also! Five stars for his prompt, knowledgeable and professional services. I think I found my new go-to plumber! Highly recommended.

We had a corroded water pipe that we found this afternoon - putting us in a panic since we weren't sure how to fix it and had to turn off our water throughout the house.

Well, Hugo A. to our rescue! Not only was he able to come last minute, but he did a great job fixing it for what we need. He was professional, courteous and even funny. Either way, he got the job done effectively and efficiently.

We couldn't be happier and will be using them for all of our plumbing, gas and HVAC needs in the future.

I had a sewage backup in my home late one night and by the next day Hugo was at my home and cleaned out the clean out pipe that had tree roots .
I can't say enough about how wonderful Hugo was and very efficient ,and went straight to the problem. Great help, very Professional and knowledgeable.

These guys were AWESOME and come HIGHLY recommended. I needed my water heater replaced, as the pilot was not staying on, and the water heater was 25 years old. Rather than spending a few hundred dollars on installing a part, I opted for a new water heater. I submitted a request online to various plumbing companies the night before.

Next morning, I got a call around 9 AM. Their technician, Jorge came out at 10:30 AM. He gave the area a look, and gave me a reasonable quote for a 38-gallon water heater with 6-year warranty. But I wanted a 12-year high efficiency water heater. I showed him ones at Home Depot and Lowes. He made calls to his office and they were able to get the one at Home Depot. And with this model, PG&E offered a $200 rebate!

What I love about Jorge is he DID NOT CUT ANY CORNERS! His work was excellent. He did encounter a couple of minor issues that extended his work, but he always wanted to make sure the job was done right and to satisfaction.

I wouldn't hesitate to use these guys again. They are my plumbing company of choice going forward.
