After calling two well known plumbers that I've used before and explaining to them that I botched what I thought was a simple copper line repair and that my entire house was without water , the response I got from both was we're booked for two days! Here is what you want in a plumber: he comes on time; he has the right tools; he has the right parts on his truck; he works carefully; he checks his repairs to make sure they are all correct; his bill is fair. All of those things and more are Gene Philips, master of pluming.

Gene's father was a plumber. It is in his DNA. He has been coming to our home for 14 years. Every visit is perfect. He always has the parts with him. His bills are fair. And he is a very nice person too.

Today he rebuilt two of our four Koehler toilets, replacing the 15 year old parts. He also fixed a leak under a bathroom sink (the trap, that goose neck part, had a small crack. Oh, by the way, he was supposed to come in the afternoon, but he called and said he was free at 10:30 and by noon he was done and my afternoon was freed up.

What more could you want in a plumber? He works alone and does it all himself. He does not leave it to under-trained people. You get a master journeyman plumber.
