I highly recommend Gene Burch Plumbing! I used them recently for an excessively noisy water pump problem in a rental unit I own in Tiburon. I have to work through an HOA to get things approved and paid for, so it can get complicated, and everyone at Gene Burch Plumbing remained patient. Maria in the front office was always responsive and very helpful. Eugene, our plumber, was highly knowledgeable, very pleasant to work with, and also responsive to my questions and needs. He fixed the problem handily and did not try to upsell us like some plumbing companies tend to do. Eugene also went the extra mile when I needed him to check out an additional situation related to my repair and he offered sound advice. I would use this company again in a heartbeat!

If there were more than five stars, the team of Raul and Kevin would receive all!

We had to have all the heating ducts under our house replaced. We had quotes from different companies, and although they were all pretty similar, Raul was one of the VERY FEW who actually went under our house to check everything out and take photos to show us. Gene Burch was chosen because Raul was so thorough and professional.

When we scheduled the work, we specifically requested Raul's team. He and Kevin showed up on time, and got right to work. They protected our floors and cleaned up at the end of the each day. They included us in testing all the vents to make sure they produced the proper heat flow in each room. We notice a vast improvement.

We had various businesses throughout the years and wished we had more employees like Raul and Kevin. We HIGHLY recommend them.

We had a new A/C and heating unit installed 6 years ago and it never worked correctly. The company came out every year and worked on it, but it never kept up with the set temp. We decided to get a second opinion from GBurch. They sent Tae H. out, and he spent a ton of time figuring out the problem. System wasn't installed and programmed properly in the first place! He fixed everything, it was not easy for him. Now when it's triple digits outside, our A/C responds exactly as you'd expect, we we sing his praises every time. We LOVE this company!

We had a slightly leaky toilet and a shower drain that was frequently stopping up. For the toilet, the technician said that the flap that had been installed was wrong. He replace the flap and charged us the price for the entire Tank Ball Assembly - $98.55. I later found on line the flap cost $6.75.

The shower drain needed to be snaked and that fee was $322, a task that took 10 minutes. We've been charged $160 for our lateral being snaked! Not to mention the $68 ""Dispatch Fee"".

As the technician was leaving, he offered us an enzyme product to prevent further drain stoppage that he said was only offered via certain plumbing businesses. He charged us $86.54. Later that day I found it on line for $65!

I called the business, complained about the over charges, which totaled $113.34 and was told they'd get back to us. No one called us.

If you feel like getting ripped off, this is the company to call.

The team members (Dave and Sergio) who came to our house to give us an estimate and then later to do the install were professional, kind, and very hardworking. Sometimes it can be awkward to have strangers come into your home, but they made the whole process so smooth and easy. They even finished the job a day earlier than expected despite having to be up in the crawl space above the ceiling and down underneath the house while it was 105 degrees outside. Couldn't have asked for better service, and so far the A/C is working great.

Gene Burch is an excellent company. Maria, the office manager, is exceptional at what she does. Freddy has been to our house on two occasions and has a wonderful bedside manner. Very skilled on all aspects of plumbing. They are both an asset to the company.
