What can I say about Gary, we have a issue with our elevated spa draining every time the pool pump turned off. We have had several people come out tell us the check valve or we need to repipe the whole pool at cost 6k. Gary came in and replaced the piping that was connected to the pumps along with check valve. Gary promised to have the problem fixed. Unfortunately the spa continued to drain, so Gary came out on a Saturday morning and spent the morning working on the spa.he finally drained the spa and noticed that one of the skimmer had a second pipe that must be leading to the pool. Which is not normal for a spa to have. He plugged the pipe and solved the problem. Gary replaced several parts free of extra charge and went above and beyond and did it the job for the agreed amount. Gary has earned our business for life. Can't wait to use him for all of our pool needs!

Poor communication. Doesn't return phone calls. I've been trying to get information on making upgrades to existing pool but don't get call backs.

Gattuso Pool must be doing pretty good. I mean the customer service doesn't think to give a request of quote call to any field reps. After I called back, the office rep seemed to feel it was not her problem. When I finally got a call back, the field rep was not the kind of person you would expect to be in a customer service related job. I called back twice to get further questions and never got a call back. This is why I think they are doing good, because I have made more of an effort in reaching them than they have of me. Also, when you look at the google review, you see Gary Gattuso gave himself a 5 star review. the Reviews are meant for people who had service done. Seems a bit questionable.

We engaged Gary Gattuso on our Palm Desert pool project because our first pool was built by him and had been very solid and a nice design. It was an entirely collaborative process, and Gary is the most solid of communicators and a straight shooter.

Pool building is not for the faint of heart. They always require people to have a lot of patience and understanding. What I found with this process was that with solid inputs from me and my partner, Gattuso worked hard to accommodate us and deliver what we required - which was absolute perfection. Gary's been in the business for decades, and his experience proved to be invaluable during our 2-month build process.

It was a lot of work and sweat by Gattuso's hard workers, Gary himself, and us, but the outcome was so worth it. A stunning setting which doubled the value of our home to us personally. We got what we wanted.

Outstanding service. We recently refinished and retiled our pool in Palm Springs. Gattusco Pools did a great job. Gary was so helpful throughout the whole process and the pool looks beautiful. The girls in the office were very helpful and were always available to answer my questions in a timely manner. Can't really recommend Gary too highly - he is a total professional and a nice guy too.

Gattuso Pools was the only name we heard good things about, the fact that we had to keep calling and even stopped in the office just to get someone out to give us an estimate should've been that red flag, but for the amount of money we were about to spend it was important we went with someone reputable. Greg (our contractor) tells us that the pool could be done by Christmas. So we signed the contract stating that it would be done 6 weeks from start. Our first check was cashed on Nov. 9 the work wasn't complete until Feb. 22. (about 12 weeks overdue!) The pool is in our front yard which they literally had torn up for more than two months before the concrete was even poured. They left a total mess and there was no hurry on their part, just alot of excuses. We were embarrassed to have to explain as neighbors actually complained about the mess. When the concrete was finally finished Greg tried to charge an additional $850.00 even though we ended up with less concrete than what was agreed upon. We originally were having a wall put up but two months in Greg advises us maybe we should do it ourselves. The workers left trash all over the yard and even picked most of the oranges off our tree eating them and throwing the peel all over the yard. Greg rarely came to inspect or oversee anything but the day of the tile installation he shows up and tells us that he doesn't think the tile we picked out was going to match. It was a different batch. This AFTER the tile guy was roughly 1/3 of the way through laying the tile! He says we could pick something else but that we would have to pay a restocking fee! Unbelievable! We picked the tile out 3 weeks earlier. He couldn't have maybe brought that up sooner? Trying to think of something positive to say but all I can think of is the girl in the office was very nice and the pool we ended up with (finally) is what we wanted, just not the headaches that went along with it. As you can see we were very disappointed with the whole experience and are glad its finally over!

Gattuso built a pool and backyard for us in 2005. They did a great job and finished VERY quickly. It was a little pricey but the quality and efficiency made it feel like a good value. However, we recently contacted them to have a different pool resurfaced and they simply couldn't be bothered. Four phone calls with empty promises to call back - and nothing. Maybe they only prefer to build - and if that's true, then they should just say that. Very disappointing. Sorry, but can no longer recommend them.

We've had two pools built. The first by Hire Standards and the second by Gattuso Pool Corp. Gary Gattuso was incredibly professional and a pleasure to work with. The pool was built on schedule, the job site was always clean, and you wouldn't have known they'd been there once they were finished. And the pool is beautiful. Jennifer, who runs the office, was also wonderful to work with. It's no wonder they've been around for forty years. Couldn't recommend them more highly.
