I contacted Daniel on Yelp from among a dozen of other service providers, and he was willing to provide us the service quickly and at a low price.

We have asked Daniel to fix our plumbing problems in our residence as well as our rental properties. Just a few days ago, we had called Dan about sewer backing up in the bathtub of our rental property. He was able to identify the problem right away. It was caused by tree roots that is clogging the sewer line. He was able to fix the problem right away for a very reasonable fee. We always trust on Dan to give us a fair price

My dishwasher had flooded my house and was unsure how to turn off the water. I called Gateway, desperate for a plumber, and they came over immediately assessing the situation and diagnosing the problem. Kind, professional, and great work. Super responsive with quotes and questions. Competitive pricing (best price I could find by far for toilet installation). They did a great job and worked fast. They kept me updated when additional work needed to be done or when they needed additional parts, neither of which greatly inflated the cost above the original quote. This is a great experience compared to another plumber we used to install a water heater that left us feeling like we'd been ripped off. Daniel and his assistant (Junior?) did a great job for a great price! I will call them for our future plumbing needs.

Good on the responsiveness - good on fixing the problem (loose handle and low flush capacity). 2 stars docked for $140 to fix a flush valve on my toilet that Gateway had previously recommended I call the manufacturer to replace. So I did call, I had them installed (by another plumber) and there was something not working right, so I called Gateway. 20 min later $140 with the recommendation to replace them AGAIN. Seriously?! I know plumbers are expensive but this is downright highway robbery. $80 would have still felt expensive but more legit for the services performed ... Tightening ip a few screws. I wouldn't have had the flush mechanisms replaced in the first place if they hadn't recommended I do it bc there wasn't anything wrong with them, but the plumber said there was a free manufacturer replacement die to a recall. It vay what a racket. All in all what a waste of time and money.

Day after Xmas, toilet overflows. I come here for tips and call them as they're in the neighborhood. Junior is here within the hour, which is already a plus, At one point he says they might have to pull the toilet out to fix it, always a pain as our toilets are wall mounted (concrete floors, industrial building retrofit) and then I have to hire someone else to fix the wall.
But yay! He gets it done with no further trauma. And despite being a weekend it's a reasonable price with a 30-day guarantee. Other plumbing companies will take their time getting here, half heartedly take a stab at it and charge you even though the problem is still there. Go with Gateway.
