Okay, I'm now posting my 3rd review for Gary's Rooter, but if these guys get a bonus for getting their name in my review, then they deserve it. Called this morning because of a leaking toilet. Gary got me an appt for 4:00. It's approaching 5:00 and no word. After a few call backs, Jose comes out around 7:00. He was great - professional, thorough, and apologetic for running behind. Long story short, they comp'd me the fix and we're happy as clams. Gotta love Gary's!

Jose came out and helped me with plastic piping under a kitchen sink. He fixed the leak properly and put down paper towels to show me that the drip and leak was completely gone. He tried to save money for me by reusing my existing piping but they were cut too short. He went down to Home Depot to pick up the replacement part and charged a fair price of $125.00 for the job which included the cost of the parts.

I had Gary stop by to help diagnose an unfortunate smell coming out of my bathroom, and him and his crew were fantastic, far exceeding my expectations of any local plumbing service.

He had three men, one of whom stuck with my Spanish-speaking landlady and explained everything to her. They spent about 30 mins investigating the sink, shower and toilet, and nailed the problem. Super polite, friendly and thoughtful. Oh, and right on time!

Given that my landlady is unlikely to shell out much $$ for the necessary work to get done, Gary gave me a call later that evening and recommended some workarounds for me to keep the smell at bay as much as possible.

I hope my landlady decides to move forward with the work, since Gary and his team are perfect for the job.

The guarantee is real. One always wonders if a company backs its product or service. This one did. On March 29, Jose came out and broke through some roots to clear our sewer drain. It clogged again, and I called again today July 19. Typically, we have to have this drain line cleared once per year, so coming so briefly after the March 29 cleanout was a pain. Gary responded promptly. Jose came out again today. He did a great job. We've lived in our house for 21 years. We've always had problems with the lines, choosing not to install totally new ones. Kudos to Gary and Jose. They'll be my first call next time!

Jose just came by our place to help with a clogged shower drain. He was professional, on time and courteous. Super helpful, nice and quick!! Fixed the problem in 5 minutes. The little touches were the best- he wore shoe covers!

Woohoo is right! Jose came in with a very positive attitude, listened clearly to what I knew of our drainage issues, and attacked the problem in multiple ways ""which other plumbers wouldn't know to try"".

My highest praise to these guys! Their magnet stays on my refrigerator for future problems.

Gary was very quick to respond to our plumbing needs. He was sensitive to our budget and offered great suggestions on how to keep costs down. He sent Jose out to address the plumbing issues as we got both our toilets fixed along with our shower.

Unbelievable!! I needed a plumber to fix a leaking toilet on a Friday evening. Called other plumbers first who weren't going to be any help for 24-48 hours - it's the only toilet in the house, hello, that's not going to work. Called my sister to complain when she recommended I call Gary's Guaranteed - she had used them several times herself and was very happy with them. I called at about 6:30pm, Gary answered on the first ring, listened to my problem, said he'd check the status of the guys he had in the field and would call me right back. He called within 5 minutes to say he would have someone there within an hour. Minutes later, I received a call from Jose who said he was already in my city and would be there shortly. He not only fixed my toilet replacing a bad line (no charge for the part) but when I said I'd be calling in a month or so to have them take a look at my dishwasher, he wanted to know what was wrong with it. Long story short, Jose and Oscar were on that dishwasher (had a clogged line and it wasn't draining) and didn't give up until the line was clear and my dishwasher was working again - AT NO CHARGE!! Other plumber had quoted me $329 minimum for after hours service, Jose charged me $150. I couldn't be happier with the prompt, excellent service. Jose and Oscar were polite, friendly, understanding, determined and utterly efficient. Thanks guys!!

We have our exterior main sewer line cleared regularly (from tree roots) every 1-2 years, and I typically use Gary's. They give me a repeat customer discount and I definitely appreciate the prompt and amazing service. This is the first time we used Jose and I will definitely ask for Jose again and again. He starts off with his cheerful and positive attitude, and finishes with persistence and determination until the job is done right.

Yes, our toilet (and bathroom) was definitely backing up. No, it wasn't the exterior main sewer line (still had the problem after he did an excellent job clearing the tree roots). Then he tried clearing the interior main sewer line in the house and no, it wasn't that either. So, Jose actually climbed under the house to figure out the best approach on how to tackle the problem!! 30 minutes later, problem solved! Even when I was beginning to get concerned, Jose stuck to it until the job got done. I will definitely be calling back again and asking for Jose!

Gary's is the best. Jose cleared our upstairs clog and left the site very clean. And he called to say he was running late. I will use him again for sewer clogs, except Sundays. Don't blame the workers, tho.
