I called Gary because we had a backed up sewer line. The line is over 80 years old and has issues from time to time. We've had others come before and try to upsell us on jetting it--one other plumber who I won't name said it was beyond repair and needed replacing immediately at a cost of more money than a new car. This time we decided to try Gary's based on reviews in Yelp and Google. And I am so glad we did. José was excellent. He showed up on time, was conscientious, explained everything clearly, and cleaned out the line and fixed the blockage within 30 minutes. He told me it was an old line that would probably have recurring problems, but gave me some practical tips on how to care for it if we don't have the budget to replace it right now. I will always call Gary's from now on, and you should too. They're local, dependable, friendly, and honest, and they get the job done.

My shower drain was totally clogged and I was not successful snaking it myself. Called at 5:30PM and they were at my house at 7:15 and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. Very prompt and professional, reasonable fee (I would have paid more).

Called Gary and he provided an hour window for technician arrival which worked with my schedule. Jose arrived early and called me to see if it was convenient to do the work early. Jose was extremely friendly, professional - he assessed the problem and solved the drain blockage very quickly . Would highly recommend!

Gary's saved the day. A root caused a sprinkling pipe to break directly outside of bedroom. Jose came out at 6:30 on a Friday (the day after Thanksgiving no less) and fixed the issue for a very reasonable amount. Given the amount of time and labor, and the fact that it was off hours I expected to get cleaned out. Jose is the real hero of the story. Great guy. Great worker. Would recommend him to work on my mom's house.

I'm giving 2 stars because they came when they said they would...BUT, they wanted to charge me what I feel is an out of market amount to snake my main line. They quoted what I perceived as an unfair amount. We sent them away at great inconvenience. We had to wait until the next day to get another service out. They charged 70% of Gary's price for the exact same service, were very polite, and offer a 90 day guarantee.
