Plumbing work was completed great at our beach condo even though took twice as long as it should have and plumber had to leave for 90 minutes to get parts. Reason for 3 stars is the phone person is horrible and clueless. Do your business a favor and fire him!

I was referred to Garretts Plumbing by a realtor who spoke really highly of their service. They installed a faucet and sink five months ago. They first overcharged us and we had call back 3-4 times to get that sorted out. I just noticed that the faucet lines are loose and leaking. My husband called them to get them out here to inspect and see what they can do. They stated since we didn't buy the parts from them, they wouldn't come back out to inspect it for free. They quoted us a ridiculous amount. I mean what is the point of using Garretts Plumbing instead of any other #plumbing service in Pinellas county. It has only been five months since their installation and they obviously can't do plumbing right from the get go. That is a horrible customer service.

I just had to have a complete re -pipe on my home. They weren't the cheapest or most expensive but I felt comfortable with their knowledge on how they were going to do it. Gary's estimate was spot on and I couldn't have asked for more respectable young men being in my home. They were on time and when they left they cleaned up after themselves. Class act all they way through

We needed our hot water heater replaced as it was leaking badly. It is located in our garage and as per code it is on a 6 foot high platform. Larry, the general manager, came over promptly to assess the situation and what was needed. He gave us an estimate and told us what type of hot water heater they would install (a Rheem Pro Series). The next morning Larry himself came over and disconnected the water supply, etc. to prep it for the techs who would be coming soon after to do the actual r&r. In a short time Doug and Carlton came and did the actual replacement. They were very cordial as well as super-competent in doing the job. To sum it up we are very happy we called Garrett and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who is in need of a professional plumbing concern.

Without even looking at our work an office staff member said they are most likely not taking any of our jobs...sounds like we should be contacting other plumbers for a job when your staff denies stuff they haven't even looked at OR followed up on.

I called Garrett Plumbing for the first time and they sent out Steve who was here 15-20 minutes tops. He removed the toilet, put paper towel in the hole and said he would leave the ticket open, to call back after I got the wall repaired and they would come back to reset the toilet. I called a handyman and he replaced the wall but I needed extra time for it to dry before I could paint it. So I called Garrett and ask them if they could come a little later to put the toilet back on and Taylor was very rude and grumpy. I really don't think people who work the phone should be rude and grumpy to customers. Brian came back to reset the toilet and did a good job except I think he left the paper towel in the hole because after he reset the toilet it wouldn't flush without backing up. It took him extra time to finally get the lines cleared. When he wrote up the bill they were charging me an hour for Steve's time and an hour for Brian's plus service charge and supplies it was over $300. I felt it was an overcharged and called the office and got Taylor who was grumpy and rude and argumentative. He did reduce the one hour to 30 minutes but that still was an over charge. And the fact that the line was clogged I shouldn't have been charged because the guy left the paper towel in the hole. Needless to say I will not be using Garrett Plumbing again mostly because of grumpy Taylor.

Thank you Garrett! Excellent job in finding a """"mystery leak"""" soaking my guest room carpet. Traced it to a leak in the tub tiles!!!! Also referred me to an excellent Tile man, Mike Thuro Tile who also did an excellent job. Thanks again.

We had some work done under our mobile home and discovered a water leak. Two people recommended Garrett Plumbing. We called and explained the leak, the location under our home. When the plumber came out he couldn't fix it because he didn't have the parts on his truck. Tyler (the scheduler) called to set up an appointment for another day and hesitantly gave a weak estimate. He explained the $28 per quarter hour labor charge. The plumber arrived at 9 minutes to 9am, sat in his truck till 9, but charged us for a quarter hour because he was here before 9. He worked efficiently, but discovered after 22 minutes that he had the wrong part; (notice it was just over a quarter hour? Yep, got charged for that). He was gone an hour to get the correct part and didn't charge us for that time. He finished the job and we are very pleased with the work. When he gave us the invoice we discovered we were charged $28 for the first plumber to come out and not have the correct parts. We also had a $56 service charge that we were not aware of. So them bottom line is, the work was fine, the hidden charges... not so good.

If you're looking for a plumber that's fair, honest, has integrity and trustworthy...these are your guys. They are locally owned, not a franchise of some big chain. They will make sure that you are a satisfied customer...period. I've been living in the same house for 32 years,Garrett is my plumber. Many thanks to Larry and the crew for another job well done!

I was actually referred to Garretts Plumbing by a couple people because of their expertise. Now let me tell you that people rarely take the time to leave reviews unless something goes wrong so take what the previous person said with a grain of salt. I read reviews constantly if I'm shopping for a product or using a service; in this day and age you pretty much have to. I've gone there three times for just a few cheap parts so take what I'm about to say for what it is, which is stellar customer service. I'm not a contractor so I'm not spending a lot of money, so their motivation to please is genuine. I was working on a leaky kitchen faucet a few blocks down from the store and it was just kickin my @##. I invested close to 6 hours trying to get that dang leak to stop. I'm a handyman so I'm pretty good at fixing things but with this, I met my match. The owner, Larry, was so willing to help me solve the problem while I was in the store. We tried replacing the cartridge ($20) and the seals (he gave me for free). Went back and went to work to no avail. If I coulda thrown the thing out the window I woulda. I called at about 4:50 to try to speak to Larry but he wasn't available so I asked the gentleman on the phone if he had any techs that might be able to help me troubleshoot the problem and he referred me to Terry, the service manager (Not a technician). I spoke to Terry and told him my dilemma and he asked me where the property was and I told him and he said he'll right there. This 60+ year old man hopped in his truck and buzzed down to help. He got there, worked on it for about 30 minutes and couldn't get the leak to stop so he went back to the store to grab another part. He came back and worked on it for another 10 minutes. No luck. He then called Larry (the owner) and explained the situation and Larry came by too and together, after about 30 more minutes of working on that #$%#%$, they got it fixed. Thinking surely I was gonna get raked for needing two people to fix it, I asked what the damage was and Larry said """"Don't worry about it"""". Huhhhh. I didn't think I heard him correctly. They refused to take any money. Terry lives more than an hour away and Larry came by to help after business hours and didn't even charge me for nearly an hours worth of work. If you find any company that would do that, you better not lose their number. I will continue to use them and I will refer people to them because they went above and beyond when there was not motivation to. Amazingly friendly guys and very knowledgeable. A customer for life Please remember to post reviews about all companies you come in contact with but be weary about fake reviews as well. There are companies out there that other companies hire to leave fake reviews so if it sounds really generic, its probably fake. In this new era we're in, content and online reputation is everything so do your part to let people know.
