I will NEVER deal with Garick again because of the the way I was disrespected by Sherry in their office. We had an 8:00 appointment scheduled to fix our HVAC system that we had been waiting 8 days for. At 8:45 on the day of our appointment, no one had arrived or called so I called Garick to see what was going on. Sherry answered and when I told her who I was and asked why no one had arrived OR called us, she was extremely rude saying we were the 2nd job on the schedule for that day. I then asked her why we were scheduled for 8:00 if they didn't plan on being here at 8:00 and, again, VERY RUDE, just asked ""well, do you want to cancel""? I said no I did not then she almost shouted at me at said ""he will be there after his first call"". No apology, no courtesy call, NOTHING. When Brandon called to say he was on his way, he seemed very surprised that we had not been called because they gave him a call to put before ours that morning. Brandon did great work and was very polite but it is evident that Sherry has no clue what customer service is about and because of her, I warn anyone thinking of hiring Garick, to hire someone else who actually cares about their customers.

I can not say enough positive things about Garrick Heating and Air.I knew nothing about a HVAC system and Warren reviewed the entire process with me in terms I was able to understand. I called several times later and he answered all questions.Kurt and Johnny reviewed all of the steps with me as they went along. They were pleasant and unintrusive. After having 6 companies submit estimates to install a new system in my older house...I went with Garick. They were not the cheapest, but the price was fair. Warren was the most informative and professional. Warren answered all my questions and then some. He gave me a written estimate that DID NOT change. The crew seemed to enjoy their job and were very clean.

Very satisfied, purchased a better system for less money than the quote I received from another reputable HVAC company.. The difference besides price, was the Garrick salesman asked a lot of questions and thoroughly inspected my rooms before making a suggestion. I actually upsold myself by asking what could I buy if a spent more money.

The other bidder just asked how much I wanted to spend and then wrote out a bid.

I wish they would have left things a bid tidier, lots of scuffs on my walls.
In the scheme of things not a big deal.

Our 2 story house had a very ineffective 21-year-old five ton package heat and air unit that presented challenges to replace under code. Warren, much unlike the evaluators at two other larger and more well-known hvac companies, took a lot of time to evaluate our home's layout. He was very thoughtful and tried to coordinate what we wanted and what was most effective for our unusual situation.
We settled on a 4 ton split unit - a furnace inside the home and a/c condenser outside and a Fujitsu ductless mini-split for the smaller 2nd story. We also decided to replace our inefficient under house ducts.
Brandon was the lead installer of a 2-3 person crew (overseen daily by Warren) that worked at our home for about 7 days. The installers were very good. They were knowledgable, careful, and clean.
Overall, we were very satisfied with the work and the results and definitely recommend Garick.

We just had Garick AC Service install a new heating/AC unit in our home. We initially considered Garick because of outstanding reviews, but we chose them because we were very impressed with Warren's thorough inspection, evaluation and recommendation of what he felt would fit our needs - and at a reasonable price. He was extremely knowledgable and earned our trust with his honesty and expertise. The installers, Kurtis & Johnny, showed up on schedule. They were very professional and courteous and explained everything. Their skill was obvious and they took pride in doing their job right. There was minimal disruption to us as they worked and they did a great job of cleaning up each day. Warren checked in every day to make sure all was going smoothly. We also got a follow up call later from Turner to make sure we were satisfied with everything. We would HIGHLY recommend Garick. They were easy & pleasant to work with, exceeded our expectations and were outstanding in every way.

Having an a/c issue is about as scary as having car trouble You dont know whether you're gonna be ripped off or not. But, based on these yelp reviews, I felt comfortable that i was going to get an honest diagnosis I had the technician, Brandon. The a/c wasn't cooling the house and he quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it, and got it up and running perfectly. It just needed cleaning. I was prepared to have to replace the old system. But he was honest and just fixed what needed to be fixed without ripping me off! He also did a few extra things without charging. Thank you Brandon and Garick and yelp! You've got a new loyal customer!

They came to fix the A/C downstairs BROKE it PADDED the bill DOUBLE CHARGED to come back when they didn't fix it right the first time. This probably won't even post because they pay yelp to keep a 5 star rating. Enough said...

After second attempt at fixing it left it half assembled rubber seals not in place shattered PVC fittings and torqued a cover plate on in the wrong position... Make them SHOW!! you their work or repairs done BEFORE signing anything...

After 26 yrs. my A/C unit went caput! Based on the age and with newer energy efficient products, decided it was more than time I should replace A/C and heating. SMUD also gives you rebates for energy efficient products. After 3 different bids I went with Garick. Warren was very knowledgable on HVAC, having been in the business for many years. He spent time explaining all they would do, without being pushy. They are one of the oldest HVAC co.'s in Sacramento and the pricing was more than fair. I always get more than one estimate in any large home improvement! The bidding differences in pricing was astounding, up to $3,000 more from other co's. There are so many manufacturers making HVAC systems, but Garick only uses Lennox. Based on Garick's long time experience servicing and installing HVAC products I trusted their judgment.
Being July, it did take 3 weeks for the install appt. but after the 1st day, voila, we had A/C working! Curtis and his worker, Johnny are very professional, knowledgeable and installation went well. It did take most of 2 days to complete but they are thorough. They added smoke detectors in rooms that didn't have them and added a carbon monoxide detector. All old units were picked up same day by metal recyclers. I highly recommend them for new or any HVAC servicing needs.
