I talked to the owner, Jose, over the phone, and he told me that his plumber will be at my house in 30 minutes and the job will take 1 hour. Jose was spot on! Taylor was my plumber, and he did a GREAT job. Taylor also gave me some good advice. Thank you for the GREAT price...I expected to pay more! Thank you Galaxy Plumbing!

Keith and Marcos were here within the timeframe that Jose stayed. They both were very professional, explained everything and got the job done.
The job that they couldn't complete was because I needed to get parts. Keith reminded me that Price Pfister had a lifetime guarantee, I called Price Pfister and though my style was discontinued they had replacement parts at no cost.
Keith returned this Monday and was able to get my son's shower hot water going and fixed the issue.
Jose is the owner is a former veteran and great to work with.

We had a leak at our house and the same time we saw the galaxy plumbing truck outside of our neighbors home. This was late afternoon so my husband walked over to Keith and asked if they had time after they finished my neighbors plumbing issue to check out our leak. It was late afternoon and we were just expecting them to check out the leak and come back the next day (the leak wasn't that bad and it was an outdoor leak) but the team said they could fix it on the spot so they stayed another hour to help fix our leak. They were not reluctant at all despite having the previous job at our neighbors that day and worked hard with a smile. The price was affordable and they did great work. We will keep their contact to let our friends and neighbors know they are the best!

Excellent service. They showed up on time, came under bid with other businesses and were super efficient and knowledgeable. I would use them without a doubt if I ever ran into plumbing issues in the future. These guys fixed what another lame business claimed they couldn't do without tearing into our homes stucco.

I have to say I was very impressed when I called here. I spoke to Jose and advised him that my water heater is gone out and was leaking I need to get it replaced asked approximate pricing he gave me a verbal quote over the phone and said he could handle it tomorrow Wednesday between 2 and 3 PM I was contacted today Wednesday around noon and said that they can be out earlier they showed up around 1 PM started taking the old one out and buy 4 o'clock they did install the new water heater with no up charges or extra fees I was very happy and again very impressed by their service.

Only giving 1 star so that I can provide a description of what transpired when I tried to reach out to Jose at Galaxy Plumbing and Repair, who was recommended by multiple people in a Facebook group. I reached out on a Sunday afternoon for emergency service. Jose was hesitant to consider assisting, even mentioning it'd be a lot of money because it was Sunday. Jose did ask me to send a picture to him and he'd get back to me. Almost 6 hours later and he hasn't responded. Definitely would NOT recommend Galaxy Plumbing and Repair

To People of Southern California:

This is a shoutout for Galaxy Plumbing. I have had mainline clogs and other plumbing problems in my old house for many, many years. Jose has ALWAYS come either immediately or first thing the next morning and solved the problem by snaking or jetting for a reasonable fee. I live in an older neighborhood with big trees that have long roots. The roots were getting bad again with all the rain and I decided I had had enough. I need to solve the problem for good. I got some estimates. Marcos of Galaxy Plumbing not only was the lowest estimate, but he and his crew were here and replaced ALL the pipes under my house and lined the mainline to the sewer in TWO days! They didn't have to dig up my driveway (of course, every situation is different) and we didn't have to move out while the work was being done. WOW! I can't explain how pleased I am with their skill, professionalism, and reasonable rates. The only sad thing is that I probably will never see them again :( They are very, very nice people and I will miss Jose's gorgeous blue eyes, but I won't have plumbing problems every again! Galaxy Plumbing is fantastic!!! Called this morning for an appointment. Keith came out in the afternoon. Keith is wonderful. He was so knowledgeable and he did a great job educating me and tell me how to maintain proper 'plumbing'. He helped me with a stinky shower, with cleaning out the water heater, with clogged toilet issues. I will highly recommend Galaxy Plumbing.

Fye! Owning an old house means we must be prepared to slay dragons. As I started writing this review, I had been without natural gas to my house for over 2 weeks. It's Fall. The weather had turned a bit chilly at night and I had to take a hot shower at my daughters house if I wanted human contact. My stove, clothes dryer, and heater were beginning to think I didn't trust them anymore. Gas, all of them. All because I panicked after receiving a gas bill that exceeded $160 for one month and called the gas company. They immediately came out and confirmed there definitely was a leak and unceremoniously cut me off. I guess I should have thanked them for not letting me blow up the house. But no, I whined. I found myself playing a mini version of a spoiled pioneer woman. Roughing it.

My very dependable, local plumber (not Galaxy) came out immediately and repaired an obviously glaringly rotten gas line leading to our water heater. But when it came time to turn the gas back on, the gas company inspector gave me the bad news: the pressure tests still failed. Three more leak repairs later, we had to admit our historic,107 year old house was in dire need of a complete re-piping of the ancient gas lines running under the house. There was enough crawl space for a midget. Only they can truly know what a nightmare that was. Ugh.

Ok. So what else could go wrong? We got the great news that they couldn't start yet. Any house built before 1980 required lab tests done for asbestos and lead paint. This was because they would be tearing into my interior walls. Oh yeah, and by the way, that will cost a half a grand just for that. We, thankfully, passed with flying colors.

Next came the permit and ordering of the necessary parts. Our plumber guy finally admitted he was having problems pulling the city permit. Not sure why. It was at this point, he referred us to Galaxy (which I had no clue about). To my relief, I found that Yelpers had great confidence in Galaxy.

The Galaxy entourage arrived at 8 am the very next day, exactly as promised. Whoa! Three workers from Galaxy, plus the owner and the lead plumber from the first plumbing business. They started with the obligatory ""passing of the torch"" ritual and then rolled up their sleeves in a plumber-ly sort of way and got straight to work.

After a full day of working with intense focus, finally they ceremoniously turned on my gas. These guys knew they were my heroes. They even cleaned up after themselves. And it was properly permitted.

Oh hot water, I heart you!

On Day #17, our city inspector gave us a clean bill of health. While this was a painful sequence of events, Galaxy has soothed my soul. I really need to thank my original plumber in Corona for making this referral.
