Don entered the plumbing field by taking weekend jobs in high school. He began in Nevada, gaining valuable experience in plumbing custom homes and commercial properties. He evolved from basic plumbing tasks to specializing in custom showers, radiant heating systems, and boiler setups.

After relocating to California in 1999, he established his own company in 2002. As the owner of Furtado Plumbing, he has worked on commercial buildings in San Leandro and Manteca, CA. He has plumbed residential homes from Livermore to San Francisco and from Tiburon to Cupertino. His commitment to quality and professionalism has established a reputable and successful business.
