Don entered the plumbing field by taking weekend jobs in high school. Starting in Nevada, he acquired extensive experience in plumbing custom-built homes and commercial spaces. He evolved from basic plumbing tasks to specializing in custom showers, radiant heating systems, and boiler setups.

Following his move to California in 1999, he launched his own plumbing company in 2002. Furtado Plumbing, under his ownership, includes commercial projects in San Leandro and Manteca, CA. He has serviced homes from Livermore west to San Francisco and from Tiburon south to Cupertino. His commitment to quality and professionalism has established a reputable and successful business.
