Don entered the plumbing field by taking weekend jobs in high school. Starting in Nevada, he acquired extensive experience in plumbing custom-built homes and commercial spaces. His expertise expanded from basic plumbing to custom showers, radiant floor heating, and boiler installations.

Upon moving to California in 1999, he founded his own plumbing business in 2002. Furtado Plumbing, under his ownership, includes commercial projects in San Leandro and Manteca, CA. He has serviced homes from Livermore west to San Francisco and from Tiburon south to Cupertino. His high standards and professionalism have led to a thriving company with a strong reputation.
