Had a new A/C installed today. Worked with Gordon in sales for over a week. He was patient while I tried to decide what was within my budget, helped me find financing and answered my many questions along the way. CJ and Travis came out and spent the morning installing. It was raining and poor CJ was under a tiny tent installing that huge A/C unit, at once during quite a down pour! Never once complained. They left everything clean when they finished, answered all my questions throughout the day. Both were nice, professional, and worked quickly. This is the second time I have used their services and have been happy both times. I'm sure you can ""save money"" going with a few other companies, but sometimes you also get what you pay for. I feel like the service techs take a lot of pride in what they do. They didn't hurry to get done, didn't cut corners in the process.

When I first used Full Nelson, I was really impressed. Good service - no complaints. However, in the past year, I found myself feeling like an ATM machine, and I've relayed this to them so it should not come as a surprise. I'd have them come out to check something and if it didn't amount to a huge or no cost, they would find something that did cost more. That did not sit well with me, and I should have asked for a second opinion on the occasions that this did occur. I won't use them again. Lots of other plumbers and HVAC companies out there.

The technician was solely focused on upselling me into a new HVAC for thoussands of dollars when all he had to do was something minor. And he intentionally sabotaged my unit. He also told me that their supervisor is a former sales manager for like one of the main hvac famous companies and comes with that grimy expectation that they are to upsell every call even on services they don't need. He wound up charging me for what I was quoted for his service call. I had a new person come out the next day who showed me what he had done to my unit.

Our 70 year old house has a bathtub faucet that started leaking into the wall! This super professional company brought the plumbing up to code and repaired the flood using new copper and stainless steel parts, so we know it will last another 70 years!

We have been in Club Member with this company for the last few years. We were frustrated with small town plumbers that don't show up for days, do not carry the right parts, and can't seem to fix things right the first time. Full Nelson IS THE REAL DEAL! They are professional, clean up after they are finished, and get the job done right! Don't look any further. From the schedulers to the professionals coming to the house, these are experts for sure. Tired of waiting on your local plumber? No waiting on these guys. Easy to schedule. So happy they are taking care of our plumbing and heating/cooling! 365 days a year, 24/7 if you need them!

Set an appointment to replace seals in a shower. The shower has a slow drip. I wasn't given a quote over the phone for such a simple task. I wanted a plumber to do it incase the valve had to be replaced.
I was quoted a ridiculous +$1,350 to replace the valve; $400 to replace the rubber seal and spring inside the Delta single handle shower cartridge. Mind you, a rubber seal kit from Home Depot and Lowe's costs less than $15; requires no soldering, etc. It should have been an easy job, but I guess they saw $$ in my eyes.
FNP delayed my appointment by a day, said they had an emergency elsewhere. I believed them and didn't mind. They charged me $49 service fee. Felt more like I was scammed, than anything.

To be clear, the plumbers who do come on-site and work with you are professional, friendly, and efficient. I had no issues with the work product, or the timeliness of the repair.
The biggest issue I do have with the company is its business practices. They quote per job, don't provide any line-item pricing, and then tell me it's ""industry standard pricing"".
I have used full nelson a number of times, here are my experiences:
* First visit to replace 2 x (hot and cold) sink pipe runs with PEX. I happen to know that the piping cost is around 20-30 dollars at a maximum. I know there are fixed costs for fittings as well. I was quoted 450 dollars to replace two pipes from the feed to the sink with two shutoff valves. I asked the technician the time it would take, they replied 1.5 hours or so. I asked about the price because 1.5 hours. Plumbers, on average, charge 45-150 per hour. Even at 200 per hour, the price was overly inflated. When I asked about this, it seemed clear that the company sets the rules but the employees know that its outrageous.
* Second encounter that was not so great: I had them come out to repair a tub faucet and install a new shower head. They ended up needing to cut into the sheetrock to which I was then informed it'd be another 100 dollars just to ""touch"" sheetrock amounting to a 1x2ft hole needing to be cut into a wall. The tech again seemed like he knew it was bad, and overly priced, but again they have to play by the rules. The tech was a great person and did great work.
* The third and final encounter was an emergency plumbing call to clean out a sewer line. The tech was great, was patient, and came out after hours. I paid $450 dollars for the visit, and then they wanted to come back and charge another 200 dollars to run a camera down the line. They ran the camera, and I paid, and they said it was broken and needed to be dug up and repaired. I was quoted for a single line item of $5200+ dollars. No labor, no part breakout, nothing. I called multiple plumbers around the area to find that a main line repair was to be 800-1200 dollars on average.
I ended up choosing another plumbing company because I felt truly taken advantage of. The fixed pricing is only meant to assist the plumbing company in lining their pockets. I can see a little margin to compensate for unforeseen issues, but charging $4,000 over the competition then throwing in ""free"" heath checks of your home after the repair seems very disingenuous.
In short, I think their prices are too high, they nickel and dime every thing (for instance, my new plumbers scoped the line after their repair as included in the $850 dollar cost, they were there to fix the issue not find ways to charge me more)
I felt rushed to make a decision on the spot to ""get on the calendar"" and pay the $5200, but my gut told me that it was an over inflated price, and not exposing the components involved (materials and labor) and also asking for four times the price of others in the area is almost simply taking advantage of a situation.
I called and talked to one of the owners who said someone would call me today to explain just why the price had to be so high. I didn't receive the call and I really think that the explanation should be up front and detailed on the quote, not just a single line item and a ""hurry up to book your appointment"" feel. In the end, great employees, but bad business practices.
I should have looked at reviews in depth, because there are multiple complaints of the same high prices and issues from multiple customers.
Good luck full nelson, I'll be taking my rental properties and home plumbing needs elsewhere.

Almost $400 to snake a drain that didn't even get fixed. Got told they could ""comp"" a camera snake to see the issue...then after that diag it would cost more money. Paid the guy just to get him out of my house. The tech was nice and calm even though you could tell the pricing even to him was ridiculous. He sited ""overhead"". How come I got another plumber out that same night from a different company that not only snaked and got all the debris out....but also charged us half? oh...and explained everything your technician did wrong? Will never use nor reccomend this company to anyone again.

I used this company twice within one month. The first time went smoothly, just overpriced. I later called about a kitchen sink drain that was stopped up and asked the guy to look at one of my bathroom that was draining but just super slowly since he was here. By the time he left neither bathrooms weren't draining at all(the bathrooms are connected). They blamed it on my old pipes and quoted me 2700 dollars to fix what wasn't broken before he got there! Also, he came to me and asked me to sign a liability waiver incase he broke something in the middle of his service. (Sketchy right?) I refused and told him I would rather have a slow drain than a broken pipe. And if I knew if that risk in the beginning I would have declined the auger service. I was frustrated because they refused to take any ownership of the situation. I acknowledged my older house but couldn't trust them because they were acting like it was all the houses fault. Needless to say I got second opinion and the new company anf they solved the problem in 30 minutes for less than 200 dollars. So now I think they were trying to scam or maybe they are just incompetent and/greedy. In the midst of a pandemic at that. Anywho, look elsewhere because this company is hit or miss with plumbing knowledge, too expensive, and won't take accountability for their actions.

Full Nelson plumbing will always be my one and only choice for my plumbing needs. I have been using them for a few years. Their customer service communicates very well. The plumbers are always friendly, knowledgeable, professional and produce high-quality work. Today, I hired them to replace a toilet water shut off valve.
