I have used Frymire for years so called them out for a slab leak. I'll condense the flying monkey show into a few sentences. After two days of song and dance, my original estimate of $3600 was reduced to $1000. It took telling them to pack their tools and leave to get any realistic quotes and a realistic look into the problem. Like actually digging down until the leak was found, and not just finding mud. Turns out Frymire is now owned by other companies and the plumbers/sales/whatever seem to float around. One guy showed up in a uniform that had 3 company name patches on it. Called for the supervisor 3 times, and he NEVER returned my calls. I have used these guys for the past 35 years. That ended this week.

If I could give no stars I would. Let's just start off by saying my husband and I moved into our 1st home about 3 wks ago. Wanted to make sure everything was ok with water heater and ac unit. A tech came out today for the water heater. Didn't tell me much except that we needed a few things. After he left I noticed that the water pressure was acting funny in the kitchen. I leave 4 a few hrs come back and I turn my shower on in master bath. Water pressure is really high and coming out funny. All of a sudden it shuts itself off and won't come back on. Plus the water on my shower floor is a grayish color. I call and speak to some guy named Row and all while I'm explaining what's going on I hear some female in the back ground responding to what I'm talking about. The heffa was patronizing me! Saying well tell her we have nothing to do with her shower cutting off. Like really! WTF! So unprofessional! On top of that they wanted to charge me a fee to see what the tech has done to my house! Don't waste your money on these company. They don't have respect for their customers.

One of the worst experiences in my life. It is day 9 since I reported A/C problem. Bought a new unit and today is day 5 after the install. Still not working properly. Made huge mess, damaged walls and woodwork. Painter came to repair, left his mess everywhere saying he would be back today. No show, still have mess. Frymire sent to another job before completing my job.
Very unprofessional company. Still no word from a manager of any sort and A/C still not working properly. Damage has not been taken care of and no word from anyone who has any authority with company to finish job. This is day 9! For sure would not recommend!

I bought my HVAC from Frymire 5 years ago could not have been happier.Great installation process totally professional..recently had a Capacitor go out after 5 years not a major expense but goes out when it is 100 degrees and a Sunday..Booked an appointment on line for Monday.Marcy was very quick and efficient to get back to me and set it up.Most helpful and fast.Excellent follow-up..Jason the technician came out as scheduled.Right on time was very professional and explained everything he was doing and the reason why it needed replacement. Most professional and knowledgeable. GREAT job by Marcy and Jason.I would recommend Frymire

If I could be less satisfied with their service, I don't know how. Their people came to my mother's house on May 31 and made some recommendations. I've talked to the HVAC guy and have left messages for the service technician to call me regarding the other recommendations. I've decided that if this is the way they treat customers who have questions, then I'm not going to trust them to do any work. We will keep the annual service contract for this year since my mother has already paid for it, but we will not be doing business with this company in the future.

6 years ago I had Frymire install 2 AC units. I have paid the monthly membership/maintenance fees for 6 years and had the twice a year inspection. They can be a little pushy trying to sell additional service and expensive filters but I have been happy with the service and technicians they send. Yesterday, the technician suggested the capacitor on one of the units should be replaced and despite their being no symptoms, it sounded like a good preventative maintenance. When he quote the price at double what I expected, I asked if that included a service fee since he was already there, already had the unit torn apart and already had the capacitor off. He assured me that was just the price of the parts and there was no additional service charges applied. After he left, I looked up the cost of capacitor and learned that I had paid $250 for $20 part. I expected some markup but thought maybe they had made a mistake so I called the office this morning. That is when I learned they don't really understand customer service. Before saying I looked up a price of the capacitor, I just asked if the amount was billed correctly. He immediately got defensive and started explaining his cost of gas, his cost of workmen's comp, warranties, etc. I don't think I was the first one to question the billing of a capacitor. When I explained I didn't think it was reasonable to charge that level of service and install fees when they were already there, he got angrier and louder. He wasn't planning to let me out of the argument until I agree that it was a fair price. I had to interrupt several times suggesting there wasn't any reason to continue arguing because I understood he wasn't going to change the price but he just kept on going. He closed with letting me know I'll be glad I bought it from him when it goes out in less than 1100 days and they come back to replace it at no charge :). I have cancelled my monthly maintenance fees.

I have been a customer for over 31 years. In December 2016, unfortunately I learned that Frymire was in trouble. Another company became their rescuer, it's name is Earthwise. Our experience concerning a tune up became a sales event we did not ask for. It is my opinion that while the change over is legal it is deceiving, because it has new owners and only a few of the old techs remain. If you really want true reviews I suggest checking out Earthwise Home Services.

Frymire installed a tankless water heater last December and now it's leaking and shut off so we have no hot Water. They are in reachable. You can't leave a message. And their voice message says frymire is closed thank you for over 65 years of service. What is going on. Are they out of business? This repair should be covered under warranty.

Many years with Frymire service. The heating plan is very good but the plumbing is very high. The overall service is good.

So I had a tune up service done on 12th September and I spoke to Steve from your office to understand whats done in a tuneup, he indicated tune up checks to make sure all parts are functioning properly and an overall checkup is done. All systems are checked for electrical and mechanical functions to make sure they are in spec. Two calls in period of 40 days and the first tune up is valid only for 30 days conveniently for you.
1. I called Frymire reporting an issue with water dripping out of the condensation line outside the house and the ac vents making noise of heavy airflow like a whistle /whine sound. This got recorded by your front office as AC tune up and when i called again as I having issues in a month, I am told there's no report of any noise.. I believe I spoke with Cynthia on your end when the call was made.
2. Your tech Joey, came out ~ a month ago on 12th sept and the same noise with air flow was discussed with him (Joey) and he indicated it's due to clogged air filters. All filters were replaced post his visit but the noise did not subside. I did not make much out it as condensation stopped and I thought it takes time to subside. Kept on going for a month.. The water dripping outside was due to clogged condensation line as per Joey and that was fixed in the tune up.
4. I asked Joey repeatedly if the blowers were good and if there's dust or any issues with them & his response was they are fine. He also indicated they are clean and were cleaned. No issues with blower fans or motors or the units.
5. When I noticed water in drain pan a month later, I called you guys and Alan, your tech indicates that the bearings on the blower r going out & not pushing enough air, due to which condensation n water is collecting in the drain pan. The noise has been consistent over the month and also when Joey was initially here and it's very disturbing that he reported otherwise and contradicts what Alan is reporting. My blower fan costs 125-150$ anywhere you look online and install is tops another 200$ (and thats stretching it). Your tech quotes me 750$ for the blower fan install. NUTS!!. are you putting platinum bearings in that blower you try to sell?
Obviously there's something wrong which the tune up failed to detect but none the less I got charged for both visits..
This is extremely shoddy service and whatever "tune-up" you guys performed obviously failed to detect or diagnose the problem which was existing since my first call. Now I get to pay twice for this??? DONE WITH FRYMIRE!!!
I know I know.. u have trucks and bring people out ..there's a cost for that.. blah blah blah..
...thats all part of the business you're in buddy.. Cant charge me twice for same work and misdiagnosis of the problem, especially when I as the customer pointed it specifically.
