We purchased an HVAC system last summer. The installation went well, and the employees are all friendly. Although there have been a couple of hiccups with the equipment (nothing major), they came out promptly and were able to address the issues right away. And they did It with a smile. I've been very pleased with their customer service, and would recommend them to others.

When you spend $10+k on a new AC and furnace, you want to turn them on and not have to think about them again. That didn't happen with Friendly. We have had nothing but problems with both HVAC products. The AC gave us trouble immediately with strange, loud noises. The furnace stopped working about a year later. When Friendly came out, they told us the motor blew, but that they had actually installed the wrong furnace. Oh? They replaced it, and now this one is not working. Can we have a decent furnace installed, properly, that will work for over a year? A return call from a manager? (Just want to add that the furnace and AC units Friendly sold us were made by Coleman. Yeah, like the camp stove at Walmart.) My husband found Friendly by reading online reviews. Please do yourself a favor - think about how many hours you want to spend thinking about a furnace or AC in the next few years - before you call Friendly. And if you do get a bid, make sure it specifies brand names and models before install. And be sure you get the manuals, you'll need them.

Worst experience I have had, need an option for negative stars. They showed up Wednesday morning to bid the job. The salesman Skyler was very good at his job. He said they could install it same day. We did the financing and the installers were there by 12:30pm. The technician told me he couldn't do the cold air returns in the basement in the walls. He wanted to install one in the ceiling of my master bath which I refused. I asked if a permit had been pulled and he said he was sure they had. He installed the A/C and started on the furnace but didn't have it working and left at 9pm. It was 46 degrees that night. The next morning I called the sales man and complained so he said they were sending a more experienced installer. 4 technicians showed up at 9am. They again said they couldn't do the cold air returns in the walls again. They ended up ripping out the whole furnace, line set, and wiring then reinstalling everything. They got it up and tested the heat and cooling once and then left at 5pm. The A/C ran all night and never met the set point (72 degrees). In the morning I raised the thermostat up so the a/c would shut off and it immediately started getting hot in my house. The thermostat was not calling for heat but the furnace was on and lit. I moved the thermostat down and the A/C came on but the furnace never stopped burning. It had run all night with the flame bar and the A/C both running. I shut it off and called them again having to leave a message. In the message I mentioned I didn't believe they had pulled a permit so I would be calling the planning office when they open. I called the planning commission and left a message. Skylar called me back saying that the permit had been pulled and they were sending someone out. The planning office called me back and said they had just asked for the permit on the 2 days after the install started. They came out about 2:30pm finished the heat runs and found they had wired the humidifier wrong but didn't have the part to make it right. They had to come back on Monday to install the part to get everything working correctly. Nothing is plumb or level on anything they installed. The inspector came on Tuesday and failed the inspection. So they need to come back and fix the minor then the inspector will need to come back. My time is obviously of no importance to them. While filling out my rebate paperwork I noticed a discrepancy. Their invoice shows a part number for a 3 ton compressor but the certificate is for a 2.5 ton compressor. My house is 1900sqft. It doesn't matter what calculator you use 1900sqft = 3 ton. Now they claim I asked for a 2.5ton which I did not. I saw 3 ton on the bid and the invoice but that is not what I have.

A repair technician using his phone to flash a ridiculous total price for a plumbing job that wasn't properly evaluated until scheduling a journey plumber had time to look at it per their own admittance is extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't let these people touch my home with a 10 ft. pole.

This company does not get back with its customers. I had a brand new pump put in my whirlpool pump that ended up being defective. Since it was under warranty, a new one was to be ordered to replace the one I paid for that was not working properly. This was back in April, 2020, and even though I have contacted the company 5 times about it, no one gets back to me about what is going on with the new pump.

From quote to finish. I had these guys come in and check out what they needed to do to get my fridge working with its water line. They did a quick walk through and broke it all down to me. No hidden fees, no beating around the bush, straight forward what my price would be. I didn't have time for them to work on it that same day, we were still trying to unpack and organize things in our home. They emailed me my estimated cost and was on their way. I scheduled for them to come and do the work, for Tuesday (July 21), but they got caught up in an emergency fix out in Park City. I was informed, they called me to let me know and they rescheduled me for the next morning. First thing, in the morning. Since I didn't have time to wait in the afternoon. I was perfectly fine with them coming in the morning. They called this morning to let me know the technician was on his way and they were already pulling up. Haha!! That was pretty cool. Since I wasn't expecting them to be here until after 10am. Lol! They came in, covered their boots/shoes, wore their mask and went straight to work. They did a clean job! I was pretty impressed. I'm a very particular when it comes to other people working on stuff in my house. When they cut through the wall to instal the valve, I was already looking forward to vacuuming the mess. They finished up and I noticed the mess was cleaned and wiped up. FIVE STARS! The technician and the help were really cool and had great attitudes. I highly recommend these guys for any waterline/fridge work. Thanks Friendly Home Services.

Friendly and professional but higher pressure sales and much higher costs than other companies - get a few quotes if you're looking for new hvac.

I needed someone to come in and fix a leaking shower. Communication was fast and effective, the guy gave my dad a senior discount, and the work was done in 30mins. Really happy with the service. Thanks guys.

Buyer beware! This is the most unethical company I have ever encountered. I was overcharged by $6000, lied to about my warranty on a piece of equipment they installed, and in an effort to squeeze even more money out of me - a widow who knows nothing about plumbing - a further attempt was made to charge $9000 to the credit card they had on file. What they tried to do to me makes me sick. A report has been filed with the BBB and my attorney is now working with me. Unless you want to support unethical business practices and possibly be its victim, stay away from ""Friendly.""

These guys come to your door looking and acting like they are very professional. They are not interested in repairing your heating/cooling system. In my opinion, they just want to sell you a whole new system! their cost of a new system usually less than 4000 dollars. They want to charge you 15,000.00 and do it all in about 4 hrs total. This means they pocket 11,000.00 in just a few hrs, then tell you that you must pay them 59.00 twice a year to make sure the warranty is valid. If you fail to do this just once, it voids the warranty! I would just avoid these people at all cost! They offer to give you 18 months free interest on the new system. If not paid at the end of 18 months the balance goes to like 26% interest. Which is still over 800 dollars per month to start. Just avoid these guys and find a company that will actually do the repairs!!!
