Frenchy has bailed me out several times. The last time was a couple of weeks ago when we were having a dinner party for some friends and family on Sunday. On Friday night my wife and I came home to find water leaking in the garage. Then we found the carpet in the house was soaked. It took awhile but I figured out it was the water heater in the garage so I shut it down and drained it the best I could. I texted Frenchy around midnight and asked if he could help me and then went to bed. I got up to find a text back from him that he sent at 6am. He had me send pictures of the water heater and, after seeing them, he told me the water heater need to be replaced and he came over at 2 on Saturday and replaced it. Our dinner party went off without a hitch thanks to Frenchy!

BUYER BEWARE!!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Had to call a 2nd plumber because the first guy had a serious medical issue in the middle of my new bathroom install. This happened a week prior to my wife delivering our new baby and time was critical at this point if we were going to have it finished when she came home from the hospital. Let me stress that this was a very straight forward job, with 95% of all the materials on site, and a majority of the heavy lifting complete.

Almost all of the drain pipes had been completed, the main water supply line had been brought to the new location but needed to be ran to the toilet, sink and shower/tub and of course the finish had to be completed. I had a tight schedule going in to this but had all of the materials on site and Frenchy committed to getting it done prior to my tile guy showing up.

Nearly the entire time his guys were working on site, I had to check in with them to make sure they were on target. They were constantly looking for a reason to go get more supplies even though I told them several times that I would run to HD for them so they could continue working. In the 3 days they were working on this job, they left early everyday and took 2+ hour ""supply runs"" even though there is an HD 10 minutes from my house. They were constantly asking how things should be done as if they had never installed copper lines before. They left early all three days leaving a huge mess where ever they had been working and poorly communicating when they would be back and have the job completed. They ended up finishing a day late which completely compromised my dry wall guys and tile guys. I had to reschedule them all to accommodate their short fall which was a massive amount of stress that we didn't need.

After the tile guy completed his install, they came back to do the finish and realized that they had installed the shower mixer valve out too far and didn't know how to fix it. They were blaming the tile guy and saying that they would not do the repair because ""that is not what they do"". The end result was that my tile guy had to come back and rip out the tile that he just finished the day before. In addition, none of their work was satisfactory and there is just too many things wrong to list. Plus they left huge messes every single day they were there including the last day.

As if this wasn't bad enough, Frenchy was calling me about the bill, which was magically $1000+ dollars higher because he didn't estimate the cost of materials correctly nor did he estimate how slow his guys were. This was really just a clear bait and switch.

The project was put on hold pending the arrival of our new baby and was finished later once we could bring construction back into the house. Absolute worst contractor experience I have ever even heard of.

After a national plumbing firm I called failed completely fixing my clogged drain a friend recommended I call FRENCH Connection. They were tremendous. Saw the problem and knew what to do. Frenchy was very personable and a delight to talk to. He made some suggestions on additional fixes which were all very good and at reasonable cost. In my 48 years of owning homes and dealing with plumbers Frenchy is the best.

Gerard and his team have provided great service to us multiple times now. We have used them 4 times in the past six months and each time have been really happy with the speed of the response and the quality of the work. And, bonus - both Gerard and his guys (sorry, forgot their names!) are friendly and funny.

They first helped us eke a little more life out of our hot water heater and when it finally kicked the bucket, came back and replaced it and improved the setup and connections in the bargain, without adding on any additional cost.

We had a new kitchen faucet installed and they pointed out that the design of the one we had already purchased would mean a less stable installation. For no additional charge, they went and got a replacement faucet that looked very similar and was around the same price, and came back the next day to install that one instead - it works beautifully.

And, last but not least, Gerard did a major rework/repair to fix our very old main water shut off when it stopped working. The new lever-style shut off he put in place is much more sensible and easier to use.
