Let me set the stage...

My tenant calls me at 4:45 pm yesterday afternoon...
She says, ""the carpet in the bedroom is soaked. There are water spots on the ceiling and walls...""
She then sends me photos...
I JUST overhauled the ENTIRE house back in March-
$13,000.00 worth...
In my head I go immediately to worst case scenario... thousands of dollars of damage, triple time for an after hours call...
Frenchy sent a crew out to Antelope from Fair Oaks as soon as I called him. Within an hour we had a diagnosis. He sent his crew back this morning at 0730... the issue was completely fixed less than two hours later...
$275.00 WITH labor and materials!!! Truth be told I was prepared to pay three times that!

The owner came out to fix a leak on an outside sprinkler valve. He tries to charge me $185 for that basic fix, and I'm able to negotiate down to $140. Next thing I know, when we went to test the valve (next day), we noticed another part of the same fixture was leaking. I figure a plumber would check out the whole thing to make sure it's working fine with no leaks, before he finishes the original job. No such luck. I tell him about the new leak, and he says he'll fix it for $100. I reluctantly agree. Then, the day he is supposed to go out and fix it, he texts me saying he needs to charge me $120 (for all the gas, time, and materials). So it takes a grand total of $260 to fix two leaks on a valve? I said ""no"" and cancelled the job. What's worse is, he keeps texting me asking where his check is (I had an e-check issued from my bank the day I cancelled the second job). As of today, it's been only 12 days since the original job was done, and 5 days since I had to cancel the second job. I'm not thrilled with the customer service.

In 2012 I spoke with C and C Plumbing regarding a plumber for installation of a tankless water heater. They recommended Frenchy's Plumbing which I used to install a Rheem Tankless Hot Water Heater. It took 4 days to complete the installation and in the meantime, I was without hot water and had to shower at a neighbor's home. Now that the installation is complete, it is not possible for two people to shower at the same time. Nor is it possible to fill a tub with warm water as the hot water soon turns cold because the heater turns itself off and the code says to contact the dealer or a qualified technician. When called back, French rudely insisted the installation was correct, but the problem has persisted. In addition, it was only when I read the manual that I discovered there needs to be annual cleanings of the filter.

When I contacted another company to clean the filter, they indicated that the gas piping is undersized and that the condensate is not corrected to the proper side of the venting. This company told me I could have had the tankless unit installed outside the house, as I had originally requested. French had told me that was not possible.

I would definitely not recommend Frenchy's services as I do not feel he is competent with tankless hot water heaters and in addition, he was so rude to me at one point, that I had to ask him to leave my property.

Very fair. Frenchy is the most honest plumber you will find. I called him because I always see his van driving around my town - I called him so late at night but STILL he came out and fixed my toilet. He is great for all my work and great for emergencies too. I will hand out his business cards to anyone I know. Go with Frenchy!

There are some people who you hire to do a job, but they exceed expectations by doing a great job and are so easy to get along with that you wish they were one of your buddies. Frenchy is one of those people.

He was recommended by our home owner's insurance to check out a problem. No fuss or muss. He and his apprentice came by for no charge at all on a Sunday morning to tell us whether we had a big problem to deal with or not. Frenchy has helped with multiple issues since and I know who I'm going to call next time I have any type of plumbing problem, big or small.

BTW- Frenchy is soo funny! But he's professional, serious, and matter of fact about his job too.

Frenchy over at Frenchy's Plumming is wonderful! He is not only very friendly and personable, but he's quick and extremely knowledgeable about what he does. He's fixed our sinks and both of our toilets (in a business setting) and kept the job very professional while clientele was around.
