I cannot say enough good about Frank Moody. He is professional and very responsive. I had an emergency issue and he understood the need and squeezed me in to fix the problem. I would highly recommend him for any of your plumbing needs.
Needed a quote for bathroom work so I sent them an email through their website contact form which very clearly stated: ""Non-Emergencies: Please complete the fields below and we will respond to your inquiry within 8 hours."" Three days later, still no response, so I sent them another email saying I'd be leaving negative reviews. ""Coincidentally"", I get a reply the same day saying they are 'tied up for the forseeable future with customers in the Quincy and Boston area'. I asked they take down their website contact form promise to get back to people within 8 hours and their response was 'thanks for the feedback to improve our customer service'. After a week or so, I just checked their site now and it is still there. Had I not sent the second email saying I was going to leave a review, I'm confident they never would have responded. But even if I'm wrong about that, to know you are too busy to get back to people in 8 hours, yet still leave that promise on your website is disingenuous, misleading, and unprofessional. If plumbers are too busy to take on new work then they should respect peoples time and state so on their websites and answering machines, not knowingly make false promises.
You'll note their response. I never said one negative word about the quality of their work. I'll never experience their quality because they're too busy to take on my job. I checked their website again just now and guess what? Still promising to get back to people in 8 hours. Unbelievable! They're 'always looking to improve their customer service but they refuse to do it. Interesting that they responded almost immediately to my review but it took them three days and two emails from me for them to respond even though they promise a response in 8 hours.
I just want to add one more related note about my reviews. I received a rather nasty message from ""Mary"" accusing me of either making these things up or ""setting up"" plumbers and contractors. Not sure where she dreamed that up from, but to be clear, I have personally contacted every company I have left a review on and I keep the original email chain for 1-2 weeks in case the company challenges me on what I claimed in my review. So far, none have. As a home owner, I have legitimate projects that need to get done which I cannot do myself, and I have every right to contact multiple parties to get comparative quotes. I have nothing against these businesses other than how they treated me. I want to be perfectly clear: I have NEVER fabricated ANY accusations against any business, nor do I have any motive so to do. I am not a contractor, plumber, electrician, etc. trying to hurt my competition, nor am I interested in getting sued. If I were in that line of work then I would do the work myself and not waste my time contacting these places. Instead of getting angry at me over a false belief, why not direct your anger at the companies who show such a blatant lack of respect for our time and potential business? Companies should be called out and held responsible when they behave in that manner and I won't apologize for doing so. If enough of us did this then I believe it would make a difference. I guess my main point is just because you own your own business and have more work than you can handle doesn't give you the right to ignore people or waste their time.

The first time was on a weekend and it wasn't for a particularly expensive repair but Frank came out pretty quickly and fixed what needed to be fixed on our tenants boiler. Very reasonably priced and done fast and competently. Exactly what any customer is looking for.

Laurie G.What a lifesaver. I purchased a new (to me) home this past week, and couldn't figure out why the hot water and the water to the second floor weren't working. I called Frank on Monday, and he was at my home Tuesday morning before 9 am. Frank discovered quickly that the previous homeowner had shut the water off to mask the issue of a major leak in the pipe.
He was able to quickly fix and replace the pipe within 24 hours for a more than reasonable price. Also, he really goes above and beyond to be helpful, he was at my home for at least 5 hours to fix this pipe issue and stuck true to his original price quote. I would definitely recommend Frank and plan on using his service again in the future.
After seeing his great reviews, I called Frank to replace a water heater that was 16 years old and ready to break. He changed it out with a high quality Ruud, which was exactly like the one I had. He was punctual, knowledgeable(he went out of his to way to clean up some other minor issues), gave me a fair price, and swept the floor after he was done.
I couldn't ask for a better experience from a plumber. He is now on my list of ""go to"" people whenever I am need of a plumber. I highly recommend Frank Moody Plumbing & Heating .
Came home after work to find my water heater leaking all over the basement Called Frank and he had a quote ready within an hour and had everything lined up for installation in the morning. He also ensured I had properly valved off the existing water heater to prevent a catastrophic failure over night. Frank is very helpful, professional, and prompt.

Frank Moody is a life saver! The day before Christmas eve I was very dismayed to find water in the basement, and my daughter just home from college was very unhappy about her cold shower! I called Frank around 10 am and he was here within the hour. His great connections got a new water heater delivered -even though the supplier was closing for the holiday at noon. It's just after 1 pm and the water heater is already installed. We have used Frank's services in the past. He is always very courteous and prompt, and stands by his work. I can't recommend him more highly. Thank you!
Frank Moody is incredible!!! I had a phone call from the property manager at my condominium complex this afternoon while I was at my office informing me that there was water leaking from my 9th floor unit to the unit below. I called Frank in a complete panic and he called me back in five minutes, held the phone while I reached my unit and waited on the phone while I found out from the maintenance man what the issue was inside my unit. Thank you Frank!!!!!! Beyond the call of duty!!
Called and spoke to Frank to see if he could come out to change the leaking valve underneath my sink. Being Thanksgiving week, we needed someone to come the next day. He was polite, seemed professional, and said he could fit us in the next day. Frank said he was waiting on another client to call him back so he took down my information and agreed to call me by one that afternoon. One rolls around and I don't hear from him. I gave him the benefit of the doubt since I understand many are a one man show and out in the field.
I called him at 2pm and left a voicemail. No response.
I call again at 5:30pm and left another voicemail. No response.
Frank finally returned my call the next day at 8am and explained that he was stuck on another project. I can't speak to Frank's work, but he pretty much left us scrambling late afternoon to find an available plumber for the next day. We fortunately found Drain Flow who was extremely responsive over text and got the job done.
