I discovered a leak in my disposal this morning. I called Frank Moody because he had installed the old disposal. He was on a job locally but within two hours arrived and replaced the old disposal quickly and cleanly. The disposal is working well and no longer leaking. The service was quick, clean and reasonably priced. I am very pleased to recommend Frank Moody plumbing.

We have hired Frank to help with numerous projects. Most recently our water heater broke on a Saturday and we have a newborn baby. On Sunday morning Frank was here checking it out. Due to the nature of the problem he needed to return Monday and he had it replaced and working by noon! Not only is he great at what he does, Frank is kind, efficient, and affordable! Frank came recommended by my contractor. I requested a quote for plumbing related to a bathroom Reno. He came, looked at the work and was pleasant. He never responded after that that, despite numerous requests for a quote. If he didn't want the job that would have been fine. Professional courtesy would be to respond and indicate that you aren't able to take on the project but Frank didn't even bother with that.

My review is several years late, but I kept all the receipts. Back in Dec. 2016, I needed my garbage disposal replaced so I called Frank for a quote. He came by and gave a rough estimate for the part (disposal) and said it was a slightly higher price than standard disposals because it was a larger size/power model. We scheduled the work and I wasn't able to be home that day but my wife was there to let him in and pay him when the work was completed. So I come back to find out that the bill was for even more than he initially quoted. Being a little skeptical and concerned that he was taking advantage of my wife and overcharging her, I then did some research. I looked at the Model number of the installed disposal and did a search for pricing information. I come to find that this exact same disposal was readily available at Lowes and Home Depot for $259, much less than the $525 he charged us. Obviously not happy with being scammed, I called him and left a message, and immediately cancelled the check payment my wife had made until I got a response from him. He seemed pretty shocked that he was called out on this. He tried to blame the supply house, obviously he buys everything from the supply house and never checks/questions pricing. Sure... I mentioned that this exact same disposal was readily available at both Lowes and Home Depot for significant less than what he was charging us and he was lost for words. Like he, a plumber of 30 plus years, had never heard of a place called ""Home Depot"". Eventually we received an adjusted bill for the proper cost of the disposal so he did acknowledge that. But obviously he would have been happy to pocket the 100% markup had we not looked into it more carefully. So that's my story and I wouldn't recommend or trust him.

Highly recommend Frank. Called him on a Tuesday, and he came out on a Friday. He could've been out on Thursday, but I wasn't available. Needed a part replaced on the shower valve. He arrived 20 minutes early, which is fine with me and was done within 40 minutes. The quote he provided was $120 less than another quote I received.

Very solid work done by Frank once again. My garbage disposal system had water explode out of it from the water that was stuck in my sink, I called him in the evening, and he installed a new one the next morning. Everything works flawlessly. I'm always able to get my plumbing problems fixed very fast since finding him. Glad I did!

After 5 years I had a little problem with the Delta touchless faucet Mr Moody installed. I called and he immediately scheduled me for the very next day at a time that worked for me. He repaired the faucet and cleaned up under the sink to the condition it was before he arrived. I was extremely surprised when he did not seek payment. He said his work was under warranty. I am so pleased that I know a plumber who is honest, skilled, trustworthy and reliable. It is no surprise that he has been in business 38 years
