This company had a good reputation in the past. But the service is now terrible. When you call, you likely will get a call center in Florida. They message the Austin office. The Austin office may or may not have adequate personnel. The notes system seems to have flaws such that a technician may not know anything about prior work. The 24/7 just means they answer the phones (out of a call center) 24/7. They certainly are not staffed to do work anymore than any 8a to 5p business. Online, I read that they were acquired and are part of a roll-up of A/C firms nationally.

Fox used to be an amazing company; we had used them for decades. But since they got acquired by Southern HVAC, they have been absolutely terrible. Several calls to fix the same issue, worth different diagnosis for each visit. No return phone calls when the problem still isn't fixed. We've had a "priority one" service contact for over 10 years, but it means absolutely nothing. No escalated or expedited calls or customer service. We've literally been without functional AC for 3 weeks and they don't even return our phone calls. We paid several hundred dollars, in advance, for them to order the part they said we needed and then they ghosted us. It's supposed to be 101 degrees later today and absolutely nothing from Fox. We're calling Stan's (recommended by neighbors) and just gonna get a new unit.

I have used Fox Service company for several years because I always receive good service.
Owen Davies did an excellent job installing a new part in the condenser in my HVAC System. Owen was very knowledgeable regarding the installation. He explained how the part worked and the purpose for the installation. Owen did the installation in a very reasonable time. After he finished, before he left Qwen asked if I had any questions.
The service Owen provided is another example of why I will continue to use Fox's services., Fox is fortunate to have Owen as a member of its team.

Predatory company. They charged $700 for 30 minutes of labor on a warranty-covered part for a water heater, never communicated this up front and the intial invoice said $0 + $90 travel fee.

The customer service reps said they were surprised and it seemed like a mistake on their part, but never got a call back. This company is a scam.

I have to start by saying it has been a very long time since I've received this poor of service from a company. We engaged with Fox to get a generator installed on the side of our house. After 18 weeks of that generator being inoperable on the side of our house we have now requested Fox remove that generator and refund our money. Run for the hills please if you ever plan on engaging and working with Fox on anything. To add insult to injury their General Manager is unable to admit he had a typo in my phone number and called the wrong number. I called him on a Wednesday and it took until Saturday to get back to a very unhappy customer. That is as bad as it gets. Truly a shame and just an awful all around experience. I look forward to discussing this with the General Manager's boss.

The HVAC that Fox installed two years ago stopped working so we called them for service. The first technician shows up and tells us that we need a new thermostat and wanted ~$900 to install it. We told him thank you and we would call back. What he failed to mention was the error light that was clearly present on the unit. Despite the failure to mention the error light we decided to try a new thermostat. We had it installed and it did not fix the problem. I contacted Fox to ask them to send a second technician out for another opinion of the problem but that I wanted to speak to someone beforehand to ensure we weren't charged for this as it seemed the first technician did not effectively investigate the problem. They assured me they would reach out as I'm currently traveling and need to coordinate times for their arrival. The next day a service technician shows up unannounced, tells my roommate that he's there to look at a service light and it will cost $350/hour for him to do that, but that they couldn't get a hold of me to approve the work so he ended up leaving. After he left, he sent me an invoice for him to show up. I tried to reach a supervisor after this happened and was told nobody is available. So far, it's clear they have internal communication issues and integrity issues. We will see if they make any attempts to rectify this situation.

Not a very good company. After scheduling they did not show up or notify me that they would not show. I had to contact them on the no show and their excuse was they tried to contact. Very strange as I had many texts and emails on their appointment but they for some reason could not contact me on delay. Finally got them out to check out system and electrician only wanted to talk about his political views. Really do not give a rats %^$^%$^ about others views. Ordered part and then would never give an update. Would never recommend this company. You better look elsewhere.

Very accomidating with my horrible availability. Once on site was very quick and left good notes about the work done, as I don't speak electrician, for the next group of installers and contractors.

I wouldn't try to work with this place again. They visited us regarding our air conditioning unit and without much of anything they said we needed to replace the entire thing and the the cost was x amount. The next company not only was able to fix what was damaged without replacing the unit but they quoted us, IF we wanted to replace the whole thing, for HALF of what Fox quoted us. Do not give business to this place!

Glass and George did a great job replacing a particularly difficult AC in my flat roofed duplex. They knocked it out in 1 day with a great crew. Just waiting on drywall repair this coming week which I've been assured will be done free of charge. Definitely recommend.
