Problem was a bad 50 amp breaker. Scott quickly diagnosed and changed it in no time. Same day service was appreciated. Perhaps a little pricey but I live a ways from Austin. Will use them again. Scott was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable.

My 20 year old HVAC unit has been crippling along since last summer. After a couple of freon recharges and band-aids to keep it moving, I decided to bite the bullet and replace it. I did my homework and had about 5 bids to replace both the inside and outside unit.
Matthew came to my house and talked to me about my options for replacement. He was prompt, professional, responsive, informative and genuine. Matthew explained everything in a way I could understand. I didn't decide to go with Fox right away. He checked in on me without pressuring me to go with their company. I can't say enough good things about his service.
Installation day - Kelvin and Manny showed up on time. They were respectful (my install was in the midst of COVID-19), wore their masks, prompt and did an excellent job on the install. Lastly, I had spray insulation added to my attic. Glass and Angel were the installers. They too were prompt, professional, friendly and did a very nice job with the spray installation. Both crews seemed to be happy with their jobs and enjoy what they were doing. Matthew even sent a pizza for lunch to one of the crews and they were very grateful for that!
Overall my experience with Fox was EXCELLENT! They were not the least expensive of the bids but their price was competitive. I love that they handled the Lennox rebates (which I waited to do this review until I received it) and also took care of the COA rebate process. I felt they did an honest job with professional from start to finish. This was a big home investment for me so I wanted to make sure I went for quality and not for some fly by night company that might not last the 10 years to follow through with the warranty work. In this case, I feel I got what I paid for and I am extremely satisfied and grateful for their service!

It took a couple of days, and several visits, but the problem was properly diagnosed, and resolved.

Richard (Tech) was knowledgeable, polite and experienced.
The job was called on several times because we had electrical and ac issues. But better to be over scheduled than not at all. The invoicing was a bit confusing because at one point we thought there was a cancellation of one part of the job. Richard called and explained it thoroughly and then we were ok.
The communication between the techs and the home office and the customer needs to be a little better so that the customers are in the loop incase something goes wrong, but the overall system works ok.

Good work (Electrical) but very expensive. Highly recommend you shop around and get multiple bids. Lots of good companies out there. I'm wondering if their technicians are on commission or somehow rewarded for up-selling/overcharging.

We had our outside water spicket crack at the seam because we were trying to remove our hose. The soft copper and us messing with it caused the crack. They sent Shawn to fix it and he was awesome! My mother has cognitive issues and likes to talk to people, so she talked his ear off and he never complained and never got snippy with her. He was a great sport and did a beautiful job!
We've had a few of their plumbers come out and they are all respectful, kind and all around awesome people! We highly recommend Fox for any plumbing issue!

My 18-year-old HVAC system died last Wednesday. Fox had been fixing it piecemeal over the last 4 years and, I being a 77-year-old senior, needed that cooling. Fox dispatched Darren, who offered to do another piecemeal fix or replace the system. I was given the option and chose to replace it. The only problem was that they couldn't do the install until Saturday. Darren contacted Cary and together they came up with a plan to keep me cool until Sat. To my mind, that is superior customer service. But, I have always enjoyed great service from Fox. I always subscribe to their annual inspection plan which helps me keep the system running at its best and offers a discount. The two installers, Bryant and Juan were friendly, fast, knowledgeable, and efficient, completing the job in about 5 hours. They would be welcome here anytime. I am very pleased with the whole experience, and highly recommend Fox and their entire team. Mariah, the admin lady whom I contacted was, likewise, cheerful, considerate, and kind. A real asset to the Fox service organization. I make this recommendation freely, without fear or favor.

These guys are amazing! Jarran and Sam made the impossible possible when I had a client who needed a last minute job done, and more importantly done right. They are worth every penny. I am a business owner and sub contract work regularly and Fox Service company will always be my first call for Electrical/Ac/Plumbing needs.

The reviews of Fox seem to be either 5 stars or 1 stars which reflects why customers write reviews- either because they're very happy or very unhappy.
This review is going to be a mixed bag.
Stated simply: we are happy with the work done by the service people at Fox. We're not as happy with their management.
Fox has a wide variety of services- we've used them several times over the past 15 years for HVAC and plumbing services. The guys that have done the work varied from older very experienced guys to younger guys who had less experience. In every case, we've been happy with the service. The service staff explained what they did and why they did it. They made recommendations to improve performance or prevent problems with both the HVAC and with the plumbing. We've been satisfied with the professionalism of their workers and we've never had anyone come to our home from Fox that we were not comfortable having in our home.
About 7 years ago, we had them install a new HVAC system which is one of the best decisions we've made. They recommended an excellent model and there is a noticeable difference in our house since the units were installed and there's also been a noticeable difference in our utility costs.
Everything was going well with the HVAC until about a year ago. We purchased a maintenance plan where Fox came out and serviced the units twice a year to do preventive maintenance. This was important to us because we travel and there's nothing worse than coming home from a trip to find a broken AC or heating unit. Last year, we had our maintenance done in October. Then in late October, the drain line failed. The line should have been checked a couple of weeks earlier during the maintenance service and there's no way that it got completely blocked in a couple of weeks of low AC usage. In addition to the line being blocked, the cut-off sensor that should have turned off the unit did not sense the water buildup. The backup drain line that should have drained the excess water also failed. The drain line failure flooded the lower floor of the house and caused about $10K in damage.
This is where the review becomes mixed: the service person who came out to look at the unit showed up about 2 hours after we called (impressive!). He stayed for about 5 hours until the line was opened and he was sure that there would be no more water backup in the unit. He left around 9PM and because he stayed so long, I think he had to miss out on something that he had planned with his kids. That's example of what we consider going above and beyond the call of duty.
We've left several messages with the manager at Fox asking him to call us and discuss how the line blockage was missed during the maintenance calls. We would also like to understand better how the overflow sensor that we paid for also failed and how the backup drain line also failed. In spite of leaving several messages, we have never heard from anyone at Fox.
So, it's with reservation that I recommend Fox. I can recommend their work and I can say that you won't feel uncomfortable having their workers in your home. However, if something were to go wrong with their work, I can't guarantee that you will receive the same level of service from their management and I can't guarantee that their management will be accountable for anything that may go wrong. I would also recommend you ask about their maintenance plans and what performance guarantees those plans offer in the event something were to go wrong.

Made an appointment for 2pm and no tech out. Called their office and advised 45 mins...nothing. Called back again and rep told me another 45 mins!!! NO EMPATHY OR AN APOLOGY FROM THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REP!! UNACCEPTABLE!!

In June 2018 Fox Service Company advertised in one of those mass mailing advertisements. $69 for seasonal HAC check up and free leak testing. Or something like that. The serviceman, Brandon Belk, told me I had a leak and tried to sell me a new HAC unit. He told me he was unable to repair or perform the check up due to the leak. 14 months later, after I had thrown away the advertisement, they sent me a bill for $69.00. I called in and talked to some female named Casey and explained the situation. I called several more times and left messages, but never heard from them. Then September 10th I got a letter from a collection agency. Bad customer service.
