Came home from work around 4:45 PM to find the water heater had burst a pipe! Water spraying everywhere in the garage. Called landlord and he called Floyd's and they sent Mark out right away. We got the water shut off and he ran back out to get parts and came back and had it fixed within 20 minutes. Professional and fast! Thank you, Mark and Floyd's!

I made an appointment to get an estimate on a sewer line job. They didn't show up and no phone call. I called again. They apologized for a mix up and made another appointment. Again no show. Called again, another mix up. Finally a guy came out talked to me about the job. Said he'd put together an estimate. I called a week later and never got a response to my request for an estimate. My friend later told me she used Floyd's a year ago and they had to come back to repair their flawed work. Save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

Alex is great. He shows up on time, he is knowledgeable, works efficiently, is a good communicator and he goes the extra mile. Recently he identified a problem with the city sewer that was affecting our drain and others in the neighborhood as well. He called the city and they sent a team. The city technicians fixed the city's end of the problem. Much of this was after normal work hours. Alex made sure that every thing was in order before he left. Its nice to have people like Alex and Floyd's drain cleaning around.

I had an emergency with the plumbing water backing up into the basement. Alex came on a Sunday afternoon with a great attitude and cleaned our sewer line, persevering until he found the clog. Alex was an incredibly friendly and professional individual who did not give up until he found the issue. Much appreciation, Alex! After calling Floyd's for help with drains that were moving slowly, one of their plumbers came out and proceeded to pour something in the drain. Unfortunately, the water in the pipes was cold and whatever he poured down there froze like cement in the pipes.

Everything needed to be replaced!

We had some success with Floyd's previously and so after some time we tried to let them snake some roots figuring it wouldn't be too bad, but after two months everything is backed up again and now Floyd's has put us on a ""no service"" list and will not stand by their work.

Wow, this is their level apparently...unprofessional, inexperienced (if they are putting something down a drain without knowing it would freeze solid) and not worthy of your time or money.

Go elsewhere.

Outstanding service!!! We just had a toilet overflow while I was draining water from the kitchen sink. The problem was a backed up sewer line and we have a large backyard. The technician, Oleg, was fabulous! He was polite, personable, and efficient! I could not ask for better service and was so thankful to have the pipe cleaned out so ""everything"" could drain out of the house.

After a 56 hour wait, being ignored, my dis-satisfaction was justified, but I wasn't looking forward to yet another wait from a competitor. So, Update: The owner called us at 4PM CDT Sunday (today). Offered to come by in about an hour. He showed up promptly at 5:00 PM, and was finished (and cleaned-up) by 5:20PM. $85. He blamed his ""new system"" for our having been ignored. Where have we heard that before? But it could be. Nothing excuses the lack of good communication, but at least now we can wash dishes again, and we won't have to have drain service for another 5-10 years. Floyd's might not be my first call after this, but once the boss shows up, things work they way they were supposed to.

The service I got in west LAWRENCE was prompt and it worked! Super efficient. The service man- owner?- was very polite and worked quickly and fixed the problem easily.
