Ileana is a degree holder of Yale University with a focus in Environmental Studies. Previously, starting Florida Palm, Ileana had a career in Environmental Engineering, primarily in the state of Florida. Ileana's experience in Environmental Engineering has been instrumental to the growth of Florida Palm.

As the President, Ileana manages all construction management and plumbing services. She is deeply engaged in the South Florida area, having held a position on the Board of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and being an engaged member of various groups within the field. She has spearheaded expansions in government departments and is a dedicated owner of this minority-owned business enterprise.
