I just had my septic pumped by their team. Very competent, great service. Would definitely recommend. They also have a very fair price - so will absolutely use them in the future.

Like other septic services company they charge for the pumping and for labor if they need to dig to find the tanks. Mine were about 1.5 ft underground and they charge $90/hr I believe. Plus $350 for the pumping. They do an excellent job of explaining how all this works.

They also install the risers (which I didn't know about). Although we decided not to do it this time around will reach out when we decide to.

Outstanding customer service! My client needed a septic certification quickly and Five Star Contractors fit us into their schedule. We were under the gun to get this done and they handled it like pros and had the certification out to us the next day. Definitely the Supermen of Septics!

I was selling my home, and the septic tank failed inspection - the last hurdle to closing on the sale. The company that did the inspection just said ""you need to call for replacement"" and didn't even have a business card. I called around and found Five Star - they came out the same day and provided a super reasonable estimate. Less than a week later, a new tank is installed and certified (even working through winter rains). Phone calls/texts were always quickly answered, and customer service was excellent. I definitely recommend this company!

I hired five star to replace a water tank. I paid between 9 and ten thousand dollars. The owner Tim, is very unfriendly and does not return phone calls once he is paid. After the job was done I realized I needed a new pump. My sons said they would purchase and install a new pump. So I said ok. One of the five star employees called and told me he had already purchased a part to do the job and even though I hadn't hired him to do that installation I felt bad that he was out of 175.00. I gave him the money when he came to my door.when my sons saw the part they told me that part is only about 20.00 dollars. So I looked it up and yep, 20.00. On 3/03/18 I called Tim the owner and told him I didn't think that was fair. He said he would look into it. He never called me back but also never cashed the check. Now six months later without a word he cashed the check. Yes I should have stopped payment but I trusted him because he is best friends with the owner at ACE Hardware and he's a good man. I called Tim yesterday and his secretary said he was out and he would call me. NOPE! After paying 9000 plus dollars he had to rip me off for 175.00. I just don't understand how people can be like that. I give them -10 stars. I am on social security and count every penny. Thanks a lot Tim. Also the part they charged me for would have been to small for the job.

I'm just getting around to this review as I need to have my septic pumped again and I'm looking for another company because of how horrible the service was. Whoever came out to pump the septic was the rudest person I've ever encountered. My mother actually had to go over since I was on my honeymoon. He complained the whole time about how horrible the house was where we lived and ""I don't even know how someone could live here it's so terrible."" He also stared at what he was pumping and made comments about it the whole time. When my mother called to tell me about the experience and I was shocked, I was also terrified that we let someone like that onto our property. I will never ever use this company and I am so glad there are other companies in Lancaster that can provide us with the septic services we need. I will also recommend to anyone I know to steer clear of this company.

I'm selling my home and a septic inspection was needed. Called other places nearby and none were available or they couldn't do certificatations. Called up 5 Star. Told me to fill in an online form. Did so. They showed up next day. I was quoted a price (same as other places I called). I call next day to get results. All is well with septic. Best part: they didn't charge me to pump it (it had been pumped 6 months ago, they didn't know that). They could have easily screwed me, but instead we're honest and pro rated me. Got my report within 24 hrs. Highly recommend!

they should put a point in front of the five! Long story short, they were supposed to find the septic tank. Showed up over an hour late. Didn't bring all his tools. Went down the drain pipe which turned out to be just that, a 3 inch drain pipe that goes to the Leach field. The 4 inch drainpipe that led to the septic tank was on the other side of the wall! The guy dug up roots and searched for an hour and a half and couldn't find the septic tank because he was digging in the wrong place. In light of this discovery they still charged for their services or should I say lack of services!!!
