When we built our pool in Bonita in 2014 our pool company, Kool Poolz, hired First Class Plumbing to run the gas lines for the pool and spa. Since completion of the pool there have been numerous issues with our firebowls not working and they have had to come out. Each time they charge $300+ to work on it to find the issue (which is usually the same issue) and then they have to order a part that we end up waiting weeks sometime a month or more before it even comes in and it always requires a phone call to get them out to install the part. So they come out and spend another two hours charging $300+ to install it. The worst part is having to deal with Mechelle (the office manager I believe) She is NEVER friendly and always interrupts and wont let you finish a sentence. She is always on the defensive when asked about an issue and is very rude and acts like she is being put out by having to deal with customers. We are selling our house and close in 5 days and they still have no finaled out a permit from 5 years ago. There is a part that needs to be installed before it can be finaled out. We have been trying to accomplish this for a month. I would not recommend them to anyone and they definitely need an office manager with a good attitude.
Unbelievably unprofessional people. From the plumber who showed up at our house to the office manager. Plumber showed up and never fixed the problem. We called them back and they argued that we were wrong, not them. I would NEVER use them again! They are totally awful. So much so that I'm taking the time to write this review.
Stay away! When we called First Class Plumbing, they were quick to make an appointment and take our credit card # to reserve the one hour ($100) minimum - we specifically asked for an explanation on how they would hook-up our sink for an outside kitchen. We were assured that high grade materials purchased from their plumbing supplier would be used. When the plumber arrived, he attempted to start the job with lightweight polypropylene. My husband explained that he could have put in the lines with those cheap parts purchased at Home Depot...he wanted a professional job. After calls to the office, the plumber agreed to put in a heavier grade PVC. The plumber arrived at 1:10 pm and finished at 2:20 pm. Then he walked to his car and stayed there for 10 minutes to write the invoice. We were charged for 1 l/2 hrs of work, the materials were 2X - 3X more than the manufacturers retail price, charged a $12.50 truck fee (note: their office is located in Naples) and the plumber walked in and out of my home 7 times to work on an outside kitchen on a lanai with an outside door. I called the office regarding the excessive invoice and was told by the answering service that one of the owner's would call me back. I told the answering service that if I did not receive the courtesy of a return call that we would be giving a negative review on 'yelp'. Well, you guessed it, no response from owner and based on their lack of concern for their clients, I would stay away from this company. They have your money and that's all they care about, not honesty or customer satisfaction or consumer loyalty!
David C.First class. Says it in the name. Came out after the hurricane at 11:30pm still filling underground propane tanks. We were down to fumes only running the generator 1 hour every 8 hours to keep the food from spoiling in the fridge and trying to keep the heat inside under 90 degrees. When no one else would talk to customers and keep people updated first class answered the phone and gave real updates and time frames. Came through in my families time of need like no other. Far above anyone else we tried to call. Thank you so much for your help! You have a dedicated customer for life!
I don't even know where to start. This is the worst plumbing company I have ever seen. All my builder friends told me, but I was in a rush and they could come out. I needed a shower drain and fixtures at xmas time. They are still charging me. $2000 for a $900 job. The first guy showed up in a dirty van smoking cigs in my driveway, he was more interested in doing my job on the weekend without telling his boss. I had to help him the whole hour he was here. He then took 45 minutes to make the bill while he smoked and tried to add the charges. I told him I had left my credit card with michelle at the office, but he said he wasn't leaving without a check. Meanwhile he was charging me while he sat in my driveway smoking cigs. I had to ask him to leave. This went on for two weeks I don't want to bore you. This is my first review I have ever written, but as a small business owner myself I feel compelled to tell you to run, not walk from this company.
John P.I requested service from First Class Plumbing back in November 2015. Just a simple job- install a toilet. The cost was $200. I thought that was a bit high, but never the less """"First Class"""" Just this past couple weeks, I've noticed water on the floor. I thought this was coming from shower. After watching this area as well as no one using the shower- the water continued to show up. I called First Class this week May 08-2016 and was told that after pulling my invoice that since I supplied a toilet which was brand new from a third party that they would not stand behind the """"First Class Service"""" one would expect. Was told that they would be happy to come out and fix for me at an additional cost. Why would I want to use you to fix problems if you couldn't install a simple toilet properly the first time. I kindly said no thank you and I would find a company that would do this simple install correctly the first time as well as stand behind the work that they performed.
Alina O.I have used this company for over 4 years and had not had problems prior to the last two service calls. I manage several properties. The first incident was a faucet that was not getting cold water. On Feb 29 the plumber came and said a part had to be ordered. A week later he came and said that was not the problem, and a different part had to be ordered - I called 2 or 3 times to get the updates so I could share it with the tenant, no one knew what the delay was, they said they had to ask the servicing plumber """"David"""" - I had to chase them for 2 weeks, finally I was told the Kohler part was discontinued and I purchased a new faucet for $99 and they installed it that day. First Class Plumbing charged me $450 for 3 service calls - When I went back to the condo to see the work, the faucet did not even line up straight, so the handle on the left was perpendicular and right one was pointing backwards. Not very professional. I also scheduled a service call on 2/29 to another condo because the tub was not draining properly. I thought it might need to be snaked- the same plumber, David, went and called me from the condo to say that it did not have to be snaked, it was superficial hair caught in a basket. Three weeks later the problem is back again, this time we looked for the superficial hair and there was none. I called another plumber who does not charge for the house call, he charges for the work he does, and I was told the drain in old and a very narrow draining capacity. He changed the drain and now it flows perfectly. I am very disappointed, There is nothing First Class about this company. I would expect this from a Handyman type of service, but not a professional plumber. I have expressed my frustations to Tory and Michelle. They didn't seem to care that I was charged $450, and was left hanging for 3 weeks which makes me look very unprofessional to my clients. Tory called me back once, but even when I speak with them, the customer service is just not there. A company is only as good as its employees.....Sorry for the owner....
I called this morning to repair a broken toilet and they were able to send a service rep out right away. I had all the toilets checked and he made sure everything was working perfectly. Price was reasonable. I also use this company for gas delivery and they come automatically with excellent billing systems and e-mail communication.
Phil M.Very dishonest company. They don't complete the job and will not come back out. There are plenty of plumbing companies in Naples to choose from. Nothing first class about them at all.
Awful! After I called First Class Plumbing of Florida for a broken pipe in the front yard, I quickly realized that they are a company that takes advantage of consumers in any way that they can. I sat and watched the employee repair a simple fix, leave without giving me a bill, and later find out they over charged for EVERY part used by over 500%. I had them come out twice in consecutive days for the fix, and on both days, they did the same routine. They would come out, look at the pipe, leave for a couple hours, show back up, and work only when you were watching them. As a former construction employee, I know what it takes to fix things, and this company will take advantage of you when you are not looking.
