I just moved to Honolulu. And Whitley the supervisor. The owner took care of me. My toilet was clogged. I didn't know what to do so I looked on yelp and I found first Cost plumbing. My toilet was fixed within the hour. He came so fast he was Percival and the price was right. Thank you so so much Whitley Tanner to 10 stars would recommend.

First Class Plumbing /Whit is First Class. My wife's massage shop sink in a condo building was backing up and she's on the ground floor! And this was happening at about 10 or 11:00 PM! I frantically starting to call 7 emergency plumbers who could come out to fix the problem. No one answered my call so I had to leave messages. Whit was the first one to call back in a short while. What a relief. He took about half and hour to make it to wife's shop, like he said and started assessing the problem and to work on stopping the water from filling the sink and from flooding the unit. The condo piping was messed up and so it was taking a lot of time to figure the situation on stopping the overflow into our sink from the building waste line. It took him about 3 hours but he finally found a solution to fix the problem. I thought wow, I wonder if Whit is going to give up on this job but the kept at it. He has perseverance. We were relieved when he finished the job. If not, we would need to bail out the sink water (sewer) all night long until morning. Yikes. Next day Whit wrote a letter to the condo's managers what he found and what the fixing in their piping need to be done to prevent this water from backing up into our sink again. Thanks Whit for working until you got it fixed!! Nice guy to work with. Will definitely call you on any future plumbing work, especially emergency late at night back ups!!! :-)

Whit at First Class Plumbing has been amazing to work with. We had a complex problem related to a Grohe shower system and he was able to resolve all of it with replacement parts, patience, and ingenuity. Through the entire process he was attentive, provided clear explanations, and most importantly, he remained committed to finding a 100% solution. We will stick with First Class in the future and feel lucky to have found this company. We highly recommend them!

This review is based on the companies interaction not work performed. I reached out to this company to try and get my houses plumbing replaced top to bottom. What I got was an average daily cost which was not too bad it helped but it was labor only no info on how much parts were and when I asked how long the job would take they said they didnt know they would need to see the house. Fair enough however thats where it ends no follow up on when they had time to see my house. Was hoping for better customer service. Please see added photos of the conversation. I am just a homeowner who is trying to get work done. Im not saying this company does bad work at all as I have never had work performed by them but to be called out like this is uncalled for. I leave up to the people looking for work to be done to decide what they wish to do. 7/21/23 Whit did reach out to me and came by to give me an estimate on work done. I do appreciate the follow up after my original review. He was understanding and willing to help work with me and take a look at how his company could service the extensive plumbing problem I have despite the original hiccup we had at the start. While I am still looking to get work done I will be considering his company for repairs.

I needed to replace a stuck kitchen sink shut off valve identified in an inspection of high risk components for my condo's insurance policy. First Class Plumbing responded with a very reasonable quote almost immediately. When I asked to schedule the repair, the plumber, Whit, called me right away and set a time. He kept in touch by phone and text and alerted me when he was about to arrive. The repair turned out to be more complicated than I had thought, but Whit was more than able to handle the problems. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and skilled. He charged me a very fair price for the additional work. He also sent me an invoice by email so I could forward proof of work to my condo. I was able to pay online through a link on the email. Highly recommended.

I first hired a handyman who assured me he could handle the job replumbing my bathtub drain to a shower drain. His truck broke down on the way to our job, so he postponed the work for a week. When he finally arrived, he said he couldn't do the job and I should hire a plumber. I then sent out requests to several plumbers on Yelp. Whit responded quickly to my request and quoted me rates over the phone which saved me the usual service fee to just take a look at the situation. He also was available in just a few days, when others were quoting weeks to even look at the job. His bid was higher than two others, but the great reviews and his availability made the decision easy. It turned out to be the best decision. His experience with my building's plumbing saved me more than the extra difference in his fees. He didn't mind me watching his work and explained each step of the process. He finished the job in a few hours and stopped by the next day to test for any leaks. Great guy you can trust to do the work right and at reasonable fees.

Last Saturday am woke up to a backed up kitchen sink. Tried contacting 2 plumbers that had previously worked on our home but none answered/called back. Decided to look on Yelp for another plumber. I mustve gone down the list & contacted at least 8 different plumbers/plumbing companies. They were either booked, don't work weekends, or never answered/called back. Finally found First Class Plumbing. Whit was on a job but was still able to give me quick info & said was able to be over to help us out right away once he was done. He was at our house in no time. Fixed our backed up sink, fixed a slow leaker, kept things clean AND cleaned up after his work. Hands down the best plumber we've had work on our home so far & is now our ""go to"" plumber for sure! Highly recommended & highly trusted!! Mahalo Whit again for helping us out!

They were the only ones who would give me an estimate straight up over the phone instead of someone coming out to tell me any pricing. They responded quickly to my messages and we arranged for a new water heater. Our old water was a 30-gallon and the day before it really broke the water was really hot and then the next day we didn't have any hot water (he said that normally happens). Our old water heater was 18 years old and water heaters usually last 10 to 15 years and 20 if you're lucky, so we knew it needed to be replaced right away. My research says that replacing a water heater will cost an average of 1700$ but can be anywhere from 1200$ to 5000$. He took the old 30-gallon water heater, replaced it with the new 40-gallon water heater, and took the old one away. We paid 1222.33$. Based on the conversations we had, it could be more if he had to use all new parts, or if there are stairs (might need a second person with him), or if it's on Sunday (his day off), or if you use a card instead of a check. We are happy with the pricing and we have hot water again. We recommend him, I believe his name was Whit, thank you!
