I highly recommend First Class Finishes! We had a leak in our ceiling after all the rain last year. My husband cut away the wet drywall, then we had a big 2 x 3 ft hole. We needed someone who is experienced and had the proper tools for the job. Scott was wonderful. Draped off the area to keep the dust to a minimum. In a few short hours he had the job completely done and the texture is perfect. You cannot tell the ceiling had a been repaired. His prices were more than reasonable. I can assure you we will be using his professional services again.

I texted him regarding a job and he replied back right away saying he didn't do that type of work. Fair enough. My house had other work that needed to be done so I replied back with a short list (5 items). I figured he would work out well because since he is unlicensed he can't take large jobs so he would be happy to take my several small job project. I never received a reply.
At least be respectful to your potential customers and inform them you are either too busy or just don't want the work right now.

This is my very first bad review ever on any business. I had spoke with Scott and he had asked me to email him the work needed and he would send a quote. We did and he sent me a quote and said he could do the job Friday I said that would be great! I waited at home all day Friday. Not only did he not show he did not call or return calls or emails. I am handicapped and in a wheel chair. I am trying to get my home repaired to sell to help with medical bills and a find a home that I can access better in a wheel chair. I have had a lot of work done in my home to get it ready for the market this was the last step and I am set up to be on market this next week. Being in a wheel chair I am really limited on what I can do or get out to find someone to work on my home. He knew my situation. So use him at your own risk... If your time is valuable I suggest you find someone else he certainly didn't respect my time. Sadly this seems to be common with contractors he just seemed different and organized I am so disappointed.

Scott is fantastic. I had about 15 odds and ends to be fixed including leaky faucets, doors that didn't close smoothly, a ceiling fan that needed to be replaced, loose deck boards and railings some out of date dishwasher connections and he fixed them all to great satisfaction. His prices are very reasonable and he's very knowledgeable. He comes with a truck that has almost of the parts he needs to fix things. Happy I hired him. All 5 star reviews are correct on here.

This is one busy, busy man who knows what he is doing! He was flexible with appointment times and did a quick and great job in fixing a leaky garage utility sink. EXTREMELY REASONABLE cost. I can't tell you how please I was to have one of those ""to do"" items taken off my list. Scott is wonderful! He's going to be getting my business in the future. If you want a capable handyman, you've found him!

I left a message and no response. Waited a few days and left a second message and no response.

Maybe something happened and I hope he is OK. But if you're running a business and expect to keep running it, I would assume a call back would be somewhere in the cards.

Just wasted my time and need to keep looking for someone else. Does he even look at these reviews?

I normally fix things around the house myself unless it is something really beyond my capabilities. It's my first time to use a handyman and the reviews here caught my attention. Scott did not disappoint, was professional, and quickly fixed my high ceiling vent and light socket issues. What would have taken me 60 to 90 minutes to DIY, took him only 20 minutes. His price is also very competitive and fair. I'm definitely going to be a return customer the next time I need help. I rarely give 5 stars and it is hard to convince me to give them. Scott deserves 5 stars for a job well done.

We've used FCF twice. The first time was to remove a wooden ledge in front of our house which my wife considered dated. The second time, we asked Scott to remove a toilet from our bathroom. He actually charged us less than he said it would cost to remove and haul away. I think he's fine for many small items. I like that he posts on his web page prices for a number of the tasks he does. He says that although he can do drywall, he's not that great at it and I find that refreshing. No one is perfect at everything. I would use him again for small jobs under $500.00. We are pretty particular, so for us to give four stars is a very good review. I will say this, the last time my wife called, he did not return the call. That was frustrating, but I'm not ready to lower the four star review.

We had an underground water leak between the Roseville meter and the house that he found and fixed with minimal ground disturbance. Also had him install a tricky little bathroom vent fan....no problem. Finally, he put in a kitchen faucet for me. Did I mention that all of this was done in less than a day? All without drama or fuss. Use Scott again? NO DOUBT!!
