They send out these stupid pink post cards saying "This office is attempting to reach you to deliver a parcel. Final notice." I call and find out it's a stupid marketing scam from Fidelis Plumbing to come out and test your water and air quality. When I told them it was a brand new house with a seven stage water filtration system...they still wanted to push the issue about checking it for free anyway. No thanks. That's not how you earn my business by tricking me into thinking I missed a package. If you're a legitimate company, why isn't your business name ANYWHERE on the post card. Very deceiving and poor business practices, if you ask me.

As you can see from their response, they just prove my point as stated above. If they were a reputable company, they wouldn't have to trick people into thinking they missed a package. You don't have a package for me because I have no reason to contact your company. You missed lead me into believing I missed a package so I would call and you could try to make a sale for your business. If you were a reputable company, you wouldn't have to trick people. A reputable company puts their name on their advertising to state who they are and what they offer. Again, this is poor business practices and trying to drum up business from someone who otherwise probably wouldn't call you in the first place. I have forwarded this to the consumer Division of the Attorney General's office for further review.

Honestly if I could tell people not to get this water softener I would, can't wait till it's paid off. They hound us for payments (when we pay as close to the date as we can but with covid and one of us losing our jobs, I got 0 help, just a "so are
You going to schedule a payment or not" I know it's the credit bs and not the company themselves but the company themselves deals with a shitty credit place. Again if I could give 0 stars I would. The guys i had praised, never answer our calls when we have questions or need help troubleshooting. Lesson learned though.

Also I know every experience is different and y'all try to relate it to everyday things but sometimes a simple "I understand" is better than getting mansplained ‍

Salesperson came into my home and tested my water-he seemed upset I already had a water softener working perfectly fine in my home. Tried to sell my an over priced air cleaner-then told me he works only on commission blah blah I listened. Well guess what? No gift card. I called and they said "I declined the water test" just confirms he was a liar. Still waiting for my gift card. Best advice don't do business with the shady company or don't let them into your home

I will update I received a call from management they were very apologetic for the salespersons actions and very professional. And they sent me a gift card which was a mute point-but I'm still appreciative.

Soooo glad i read the reviews before having them finish the installation, i just wanted the 25$ gift card that they promised.... But they have to do a test of your water first which was ok with me.... After 3.5 hours of demonstrations the guy gave us a price that started out at 160/ month for 7.5 years... Then he gave us a special discount of 130 per month, then i said i could only pay 100 a month... He said that was fine, he would make it work, but after reading the reviews i changed my mind, i cancelled on him, he kept insisting and at the end he was giving a better price of 80$ per month.
So it went from 160 to 80 per month??? How is that even possible??? They try to take advantage from people... In a very dishonest way.... We went with caulligan's a local company from texas for 9.99/ month... So glad i read the reviews ... Oh and by the way i never got my 25$ gift card...

Well,I finally got my gift card after we called the office to ask what happened to it. So,Courtney Smith was very professional on the demonstration explained everything very well, that was the only misleading thing was the gift card. I can not remove my first review the system will not let me. So,I'm sure this is a good company and not a scam. We did not buy the water system after all.

It is amazing how changing my water made such a change in my life. I was having bad acne and my hair would be so dry due to the harsh chemicals in the water. You can even tell a difference in taste. I was pretty hesitant but I'm happy with my decision. Taylin was very helpful with explaining the product and felt no pressure of purchase. They even provide this amazing soap product. I would highly recommend this product and definitely have Taylin take care of you!

I had a Fidelis come to my home to test my water. The young lady who came out was very professional and knowledgeable of the situation with my water, it was horrible. She showed me the benefits of clean water and how it would help my family. Amazing. Install was fast and done with the utmost professionalism and care. I love my clean water. Great company. Btw, I had read the other reviews and I was skeptical but everything turned out great !! No issues.

Sent a card in the mail which was made to look as if it came from a Lowes Home Improvement. No return address. Crappy photos of a Lowes store stolen from the internet. Misspelled word.

Card promised a $25 gift card if I called within 48 hours. small print in corner of photo identified as Fidelis Plumbing. Number on card does not match number on website. It appears they use a different number than their primary business number so they can disavow involvement in the advertising scheme if it gets determined to be fraudulent by authorities. The phone number on the card is 469-557-9980 and is not registered with a public database.

More importantly, a search through Texas Business Systems (https://mycpa.cpa.state.tx.us/coa/) does not reveal a state-recognized company named Fidelis Plumbing, so unless they are operating under a d/b/a the evidence is starting to make it look like they are not a legitimate business or licensed to perform the work they do.

Would not recommend calling them, or doing business with them.

Leaving a one star because there isn't an option for no stars. I do not recommended... I repeat do NOT recommend anyone doing business with FIDELIS PLUMBING! They have very sketchy business tactics and we strongly regret ever welcoming them into our home. This business sells and installs water softening systems with reverse osmosis.

Installed: June 30, 2019
Request to have it removed: July 2, 2019
Formal decline of removal: August 16, 2019

We kept getting post cards in our mailbox that we had a package waiting for us to call their number or it would be returned to sender. After the third one I finally called. And they wanted to schedule an appointment for someone to come test our water and we would receive a $25 gift card in the mail once they came out. I'm not sure if I was just being naive or what, but I just thought that was cool and just another part of the process. The salesman (Derek Jenkins) came to our home and spent nearly 5 hours with us. He tested our water in different testing tubes with different solutions. He tested our tap, Ozarka bottled water, and their filtered water. Basically said our water was extremely unhealthy for us to consume. He saw we had a newborn and used that as part of his sales pitch. If we bought the reverse osmosis system than we would also receive 5 years worth of free soaps. Hand soap, dish soap, laundry soap, shampoo, bar soap, face wash, multi purpose cleaner.. you get the point. He didn't a demonstration of us washing our hands... the "$2 bar of soap" has suds like I had never seen before and ur hands were super soft. He said our ice cubs were all cloudy because of the bacteria and chemicals in our tap water and once we got the filtration system they would be clear. Our water was testing close to the 300s, Ozarka was 44 and their filtered water was (if I can remember correctly) below 10. He said they would completely flush each of our appliances during installation.

When the guy came to install the system I was a little taken back because 1. The tank that was installed under our sink was a lot bigger than what was described.. it took up almost half the space under our sink. 2. He drilled a whole in our sink for the "drinking water" spout... mind you this was not mentioned at all when the salesman presented to us. 3. When trying to figure out the difference between the "drinking water" and the rest of the water.. he specifically said he would NOT recommend drinking water from the regular faucet. This had me confused because I thought that was whole reason for the system.. it was better, filtered water. I let it go and said okay. They also did not flush any of our appliances of the old tap water. When they finally came back to test our water it tested a lot higher than the Ozarka water which had me confused. By day two we discovered nothing he claimed the system would do occurred. If we are nearly $10k for a filtration system every single point of his sales pitch better be accurate. On that day (day 2) we called for them to remove it. The salesman INSISTED on his manager from the San Antonio office to come down and speak with us. We said no, and we wanted it out. He again INSISTED his manager come to speak with us. On July 6th, they came to our house they came to our house and tried to convince us to keep the system. They said we needed to give it a week to really give it a chance to do its job and to wait for the soaps to try them out because the soaps pay for the system itself (I guess because we are getting 5 years worth for "free" and they are supposedly so good.) we said we still wanted it out, but fine we'll wait 7 days. Btw the soaps suck. On day 7 we called to tell them again we wanted it out. The date is now July 12th... our salesman said okay I'll have my manager give you a call to figure out what our next move is. 2 weeks went by and many calls made on our end and we kept getting put off without an answer on when it would be removed from our home. After arguing and many calls to their customer service manager apparently they have a 3 DAY SATISFACTION GUARANTEE. 3 DAY?!?!?! First off, what kind of guarantee is 3 days? If 3 days is all they offer than they shouldn't tell us we have to wait a week for the system to do what it's supposed to do. I'll also add that once it went to the customer service manager to investigate what happened the salesman and the manager that was insisted to come out to our home changed their story. They then said they never told us to wait the week and never told us to wait for the soaps to come in to try the water system out with them. Today, we received a letter via certified mail stating they would not remove the system because we waited until the 13th day to request the system be removed. When I called our salesman to figure out why they are saying it was the 13th day when we asked them to remove the system on day 2, after contradicting what he initially said he hung up on me. When I tried to call back he declined my call..
