Salesman showed up, gave his 2 hour presentation and while being somewhat tempted to sign up I declined to avoid another sizeable monthly bill. The salesman proceeded to attempt his best at guilt tripping me into buying it as if I was suddenly a bad Father if I didn't. The gift card that was supposed to come with giving up 2 hours of my night was never delivered and before some rep talks about spam folders I already checked there. Throw in the misleading scam postcards you receive and I wouldn't do business with this company if my water was brown like a third world country. Appreciate the deceptive sales tactics, the unprofessional salesman and the lie about a gift card, class act company.
Any company that blatantly tries to trick customers in to using their service can't be good. Avoid at all costs, unless you like being lied to, some people might be into that.
Tried to scam me out of $2000. I got a second opinion from another, TRUSTED, plumber who told me my water and system was fine. The salesman tried to convince me we would have health issues if we didnt fix our system ASAP. DO NOT RECOMMEND! 0 STARS
SCAM ALERT!
Got an unsolicited postcard about a 'parcel' this company supposedly attempted to deliver. Called in and got the runaround from the agent, who refused to give any information about any parcel, but instead repeatedly attempted to set up a sales appointment.
There is no parcel, they are not a delivery company, and they are using borderline fraudulent techniques to generate sales leads. Steer well clear of this awful company.
1. showed up late, I was about to take off when the door rang
2. Didn't show up with a mask nor put on one when I was clearly wearing one
3. told them i'd seen the presentation (Several different companies) but persisted with the routine pitch
4. Tried to push the sale way too hard by trying to lower the payment or 0 interesting for x amount of months
5. Dodge question about certifications, just kept saying they were the best, the cream of the crop, the superb, nothing else like it etc etc etc
6. I can sense their frustration for not getting the sale TODAY
7. After realizing not getting the sale today tried different approaches.
Jonathan A.The salesman was great. But the system they were trying to sell me was 2x the cost of other systems. So i said no, and then the guy puts his manager on the phone to maybe do a deal, but instead of working with me the manager proceeds to berate me and try to shame me into buying.
They said they would email me a gift card for entertaining them and guess what... never got it. I've had there stupid postcard on my desk for 3 months and was not going to throw it away until i wrote this review.
NOT HAPPY! I got my water heater replaced when i got the water filter system on Jan 4 2021. they installed the water heater without fixing or giving me the option to fix the vent that sits behind the water heater properly. and left the cut out sheet rock open. after a few phone calls they came out to patch the cut out sheet rock but left it incomplete because it was too small of a space for the guy to patch it up properly. when they installed the tiny little wire the tore up my mesh grate and they covered the beautiful brick with an ugly metal grate. its Feb 12 2021 and im still dealing with this company to get vent behind the water heater fixed and the sheet rock covered up properly. NOT HAPPY.
We were told by the agent that sold us this that we would save money with our water and shampoo, detergent , hand and dish soap etc that were supposed to receive for free. We were told the salt that goes in the system would only need to be replaced every 2-3 months. Which is not the case, we have to buy salt every 2-3 weeks which adds up more than we would spend a month. We completely understand it depends on the use of water but our usage hadn't changed much all year. We don't save much to anything at all in water, we attempted to speak to the company and the representative that sold this to us as we are very unhappy with it to see what we could do and they refuse to help. I feel lied to and used a consumer.
Con-artists at it again. I've received two more of these fake gift cards in the past week. I've now reported these incidences to the BBB and USPS. What a joke of a business.
Alex E.These guys are super shady!
They sent out multiple shady looking postcards stating that they have a parcel. The postcard claims It's their "final attempt to reach you", and that I "must call the number immediately to arrange for delivery". I figured it was a scam. I enjoy messing with scammers, so I decided to call them. On the phone, the lady said that they work with my builder (I just moved into a new build a few weeks ago) and they have a welcome package for me with a $25 amazon gift card included. I was very clear when I asked her if this was just a sales pitch in disguise. She said it wasn't.
A few days later, someone calls me to arrange a guy to come over and perform a "water inspection". Again, I ask the guy on the phone if this is a sales pitch, and if it is, I'm not interested. He said it wasn't.
Later on, a salesman shows up at my door with his giant suitcase. *eyeroll* He seemed very disappointed when I told him I'm not interested in buying anything.
I bet Fidelis would get more business if they didn't have such shady marketing tactics. Just be honest and up front and I won't waste your time.
