I bought all plumbing products here for the remodel of two bathrooms and was very pleased. I recommend having a shopping plan. Plumbing is complicated and the options seemingly endless. The more informed you are, the better staff will be able to help you. Here is how I approached my Fergusons experience: I used their on-line tool to select what I thought I wanted within my budget, printed my list, went into the store where staff directed me to those items, went back on-line and modified my list based on store visit, scheduled an appointment and met with a salesperson (Carol) who ensured I got all the right parts and connections. I was working with a contractor but buying the plumbing fixtures myself. Fergusons gave me the contractor discount, there was no shipping charge, and no problem returning a couple of unneeded items. I highly recommend Fergusons over a DIY warehouse as the salespeople actually know what it takes to make a system work. No one is perfect, one selection proved problematic and I plan to return the items--I hope it will be like the prior return--no problem. What is the issue? The toilet tank trip levers. The ones I/we ordered are not the specified model for this particular toilet (I wanted a particular color and look) and seem to adversely affect flushing and void the warranty. Be careful of what you wish for because as I already said, plumbing is complicated. The only negative I'd mention is that if you have to go to the parts department, be prepared to wait--this is not necessarily bad, as often the help is tied up trying to help people...something that doesn't often happen at DIY warehouses.

I had a wonderful experience working with Tim West at Ferguson's. We did a complete kitchen and bath remodel and Tim was helpful from start to finish-he even handled the unexpected hiccups with grace. Tim was friendly and informative, and I never felt pressured. I feel like the value we received was fabulous from Ferguson's. It feels great to be able to keep our money in San Luis Obispo and still get wonderful quality at an great price.

5 stars for the manager Tim West. I went in with a friend who only purchased a moderately priced light & she was treated like she was buying a viking stove. I ended up ordering several things from Tim for my kitchen remodel and a few weeks later picked them up to take back to Fresno area. Normally I promote purchasing locally but I have a relative with a home nearby and the woman at the Fresno store left me flat, not that helpful & a bit snooty.
2 stars for the Saturday help who couldn't find one of my items. The woman seemed too lazy to get off her stool and find it. Told me to come back later when the showroom was open, not concerned that I drove 200 miles to get this order picked up. I came back & they said it was not there, on backorder. Turned out that was not the case, the sink was there the whole time. I had to inconvenience friends to pick up the last item another Saturday. Still, I recommended the store to friends who purchased some things for their home in Morro Bay. The showroom staff is great & the guy ended up loading up my stuff was really nice.

We built our home ourselves and acted as our own contractor. We are so thankful to have had Fergusons help us with all of our appliances, plumbing supplies and bathroom fixtures. Our sales consultant there helped us with all our selections and put together a great portfolio of product details not only for ourselves but also for the plumbers we hired. We were so pleased with them that we also purchased lighting and finish hardware from them. We depend on Fergusons for top quality products and have had excellent follow-up from the sales people.

Don't believe them! I purchased a bathtub and arranged with Phil to have it delivered to a job site on a Monday. I emphasized that was the only day someone would be at the site to accept the delivery. Phil said, no problem he would call on Monday AM to let me know about when to expect the tub. We went out of town the prior Friday and did not return until Sunday. Imagine my surprise when we found a 350 pound bathtub dumped in the dirt in the front yard of our house which is undergoing a remodel and complete front landscaping (all dirt)! The neighbors said someone dumped it off on Friday. Phil had no good excuse and did not compensate me for the inconvenience of having to hire someone to move the tub inside. I am not happy and will buy the rest of my remodel items from someone else.

Drove a half hour to check out the showroom. Arrived at 4:35 on Saturday and the showroom was locked up despite their doors even showing their Saturday hours open until 5. I guess potential customers time isn't important to them. I won't be going back there.

If you need plumbing parts this is the place not to go. If you don't have an account the prices for fittings and supplies are about 4 to 5 times the cost at a normal hardware store. You guys are just jerks. I will never, ever shop here again.

I emailed the SLO store and ask to purchase a special order toilet. No response.

I called and the male associate who answered the phone was very pessimistic about getting this toilet, I quote ""its a month out before we can get it here"". Hmm ok.
So I call the Bakersfield showroom. They sourced it from the Stockton warehouse. It was delivered to the SLO store the following Tuesday.

How did this associate not know the proper steps in order to make a sale? yet the Bakersfield store was extremely happy to land the sale.

I'm remodeling my master bathroom which is a very daunting task. I met with Phil Stone several times. He is extremely knowledgeable and walked me through every decision step that I needed to make. It is one-stop shopping at it's best. In addition, everything was delivered to my home on time and complete! I am so happy with my choices and can't wait to see the end result. I highly recommend Phil and Ferguson!!
