Unfortunately the work Tony did for me was not good....I've read some of his prior reviews and they were all excellent so I'm taking my experience with Tony personally. I called Tony to change two (2) water filters underneath my sink...one hot water and one cold water. I also asked him to ""snake"" my pipe because it was draining slowly. This was in April this year.
After Tony and his helper left he had forgotten to turn the main water value
back on; he forgot also to turn the hot water value back on. Just recently I changed my filters (every 6 months). The current plumber said the cold water filter was not changed. I looked at the filter after he took it out and it was filthy - it looked as if Tony hadn't changed it at all. I was curious about the awful odor of the water and the dirty filter was the reason. When Tony initially left my place, I could not locate my old filter...I called him several times to come back to turn the water valves back on. He didn't show up he sent his helper several hours later. He also fabricated an additional ""leak"" repair which he caused himself. There was no leaking from any place underneath my sink, for the day before, myself and another plumber was looking at my two filters for an estimate.
I change my filters every 6 months.

When we called about a mysterious leak from a toilet, we got a quick callback and a next day appointment. When the two plumbers arrived, they fairly quickly figured out the rather complicated problem, and explained to us clearly their plans. They will return with a hard to find part. They were tidy, masked and didn't mind all our questions! Highly recommended.

When I first moved to the neighborhood 6 or so years ago, I needed a new sink because I hated the old sink so very very much that I needed a new sink. I had to special order it in Berkeley and got it and tried to install it and that was Epic Fail. So I called these guys who just happened to be in the neighborhood and this large man from Brooklyn showed up with a couple of guys who looked like they came from Central Casting. Everyone was laughing and schmoozing and the sink got put in and it did not cost too much. I decided these would be my go-to guys. I've called them for a variety of jobs and they consistently get things done, explain their work to me, and don't bullshit me around. Tony hires and trains people and is an asset to the community. His right hand man, Checkers is competent and observant, etc.
So, if you want your plumbing fixed and want an actual human to pick up the phone, try these guys. They are open 9 to 5 on weekdays, otherwise leave them a message.

If it is broken, Tony will fix it. Awesome guy, awesome service. He takes such good care of a very old building that I live in - a building with problems that have stumped many a plumber.

Great guys, I called and they were here within 24 hours and on thanksgiving week no less. Very reasonably priced and professional local business!

In my professional life, I run a nonprofit that is working on a large construction project. It's actually a challenge to work with companies that say one thing and do another, or continually try to jack up costs thinking that we won't know better. This is why when I'm home I want to work with someone that breaks that mold.
Fazule & Sons Plumbing are professional, honest, people-centered, and do what they say they are going to do. They return calls quickly and problem solve a solution that takes into account long-term sustainability and cost-efficiency. They build relationships with clients and honestly want to do right by the people they serve. I can say that I honestly trust Tony and in this moment and time trust feels like it needs to be at the center of doing business.
Finally, during this pandemic these folks have continued to show up and serve so I also just want to thank the essential front-line workers that keep doing what they do in spite of all of the challenges.

We live in an old house in the Oakland hills and suddenly about four days ago our water heater stopped working and I called fazule and sons and they came out very quickly and replaced it at a good price and it's a much more efficient water heater both in terms of electricity and water consumption so I'm very happy with the service and I highly recommend these guys fast reliable and economical... I like to support Oakland businesses especially in this difficult time Way to go guys I hope I don't have to see you soon but if I do need plumbing help you will be the first people I call

Tony is the best plumber hands down. Have had him come multiple times including an emergency visit on Christmas where afterwards he sat down and had pancakes. I love this guy! Tony rocks!

The plumbers arrived promptly, assessed our plumbing needs, identified the problems and fixed the 2/3 that could be repaired on that visit. We did not have our kitchen faucetreplaced as we plan to pick up the part ourselves, as having Fazule plumbing pick it up would be billed at $150/HR. We can pick up our own faucet. I started a timer on my phone when they arrived through them finishing clean up and they spent 1hr and 26min working on our place (including a trip to the store for parts). We got billed for 2 hours. I figured this is standard practice in the skilled trades, charging a full hour for each fraction of an hour after the previous full hour. Fair enough, but a little rich for a guy like me. For a skilled plumbing job I would consider Fazule Plumbing again, but for something minor I'd save $$ and have a handy man address small problems like simple leaks or replacing faucets.

We used Fazule & Sons recently to replace a shower valve and were incredibly impressed by them. The team is professional, responsive, punctual, and diligent. Our issue was a bit more complicated than expected (couldn't find the part so had to order it online, couldn't get the water calibrated in the first try) so they had to come back over the course of a few days, but they made sure to keep working to get it done right. And their pricing is beyond reasonable--they are truly fair in their charging practices. They'll be our go-to plumbers moving forward, for sure!
